Not sure how it fully happened went to work they were working came home they were not. So i checked the 3 30size fuses in my amp they were all good. I chcecked my remote turn on wires good. All wires all plugged into amp correctly I have an Audioque 750amp and the 2 dcon 10". Pleas help, any more info needed just ask! Im looking for a way to test my amp and subs possibly with a multimeter or a 9v battery. Any tricks thanks ugh!!!

Anybody with a 98 or newer jimmy/blazer had any issues doing the big 3 upgrade? I have all the wire just wanna make sure i'm not gonna have any surprises when i go to do it

I'm not asking for any practical purpose, or for any real world application. I've just NEVER seen this question asked, and after a bit of gin, I started to wonder, Are large amps, for example NS-1, IA80.1, AB1101.1, Stetsom 14k etc, you know, big ass amps, able to be run at 8ohm, 16ohm, and (never seen a speaker system run at this) 32ohm? I see no reason why you would considering the price to watt ratio, but could you safely?

This first part is how having the correct crossover makes a world of difference in how a subwoofer setup sounds. When I first set up my amp for my new sub I put the crossover on 80 hz because I had heard that was the general concensus for a decent starting position. I left it there for a few years and I figured everything was good. Hey guys, Finished up my big three today... Still having some light dimming issues. Heres what i have... Saz-1000d at 1ohm 2 sa-12s d4 0/1 from alt + to battery + 0/1 from engine block to battery - 0/1 from battery - to chassis 4ga from battery + to saz1000d 4ga from amp ground to chassis Anyone have any opinions?

I was looking for opinions on a how many batteries or Ah ( amp hours ) would people use to supply 20-30,000 watts? Fyi 2-300 amp mechman alts supplying the bank and 4-cresendo 5500 sub amps in use.

I just got done installing my second skin door pack that I won through the second skin promotion. When opening the box I saw some goodies also, Ant was nice enough to give all the winners a Fury knife and the hard wood roller. I decided that I would install my 5.25 pioneer premier components up in the front doors using the second skin. I first started by cleaning off dirt and dust off of the door for the best contact. I cut out small pieces of deadener with the included fury knife. The fury knife cuts through the second skin with ease and works great. Well, i was trying to talk to the 'new guy' at my local audio shop. And we started talking about what we had, and i was telling him i was trying to sell my Type X's to get a Fi Q. Supsrisingly he has actually heard of Fi, but he was very closed minded towards them. ANYWAYS, he ended up telling me he had four Type R's 12" in a ported box, in an Impala like mine! So, i went out to get a demo. Pretty loud i guess, but he was trying to tell me he has hit 154db. Considering that his box looked fairly small for 4 12's i doubted it. I guess im just rattled that people like that can get a job but when i apply i dont even get an interview. >.>

I have a cobalt that comes with the battery in the trunk stock. It was grounded to a piece of sheet metal that was spot welded to the wheel well. I had to remove said piece to fit the 2 extra kinetik hc16v running off the second alt. Any way i have all the batteries grounded with 2/0 to one spot (sheet metal) and the amps hu and processor are also indirectly grounded to the same spot. The only thing audio wise not connected to this one spot is the second alt which is grounded in the engine bay instead. Even as such I've experienced tons of ground loop. Hey guys I have a 96 Cherokee Sport, I also have a Warden motor laying around that I want to build into a musical daily ground pounder. Im thinking ill just go with and OEM IA recone and I have an saz3000 to power it. Im just wondering if people have other single woofer set ups like this in Jeeps? What size are you using? Naturally, the packages get sent to Vancouver where customs sorts through them, checks for drugs and bombs, determines the appropriate charge (14.5% tax in my case), and then hands them off to Canada Post to go and deliver. 7-14 days is normal for something coming from the US via USPS Air Mail Parcel Post. After being out of car audio for a couple years now, I got the bug again. I recently bought a 2004 Toyota 4Runner and have factory speakers all the way around. The only upgrade I have done is install an Alpine CDE-W265BT. The drivers door speaker is making noises, and there are some annoying rattles that need to be addressed. I just purchased two 15 inch Icon's through the black friday sale. I plan to run them off of a nine.1 each. I am in the process of locating a 240 amp alt for a 97 lincoln towncar. Will I also need a second battery for the system with this high out put altenator. The other issues i have is I am running a pheonix gold xenon 200.4 on a set ed 6500 and a some ma audio 6x9 for rear fills. The ed 6500s can't take the power from that amp though. I have two different brands of speaker wire that are turning green inside the jacket. It is not turning green at the ends just in certain areas of the covered wire. Ive spent two hours googling and just seen multiple forums and websites where it turned into an argument whether the discoloration was due to oxidation or the chemical reaction between cheap insulation and the copper wire. Please don't turn this into a pissing contest. Either you know or don't know, don't need guesses. What causes the discoloration and will it affect the signal if used? Well I'm listening to my music loud last night and noticed my lights seems to be dimming quite heavily, more than I recall. Then after playing music for about 10 minutes my sub cuts out then comes back on and cuts out. So I turn the sub off. I figured maybe a tinsel lead failed because I didn't smell any burned voice coil scent. Then I start to think. Man that sub was expensive how could it break like that on me? Who makes a decent volt meter that isn't a $100+ dollars.(No SMD) I'm gonna order one soon, and just looking for opinions on who makes a decent meter. What are you guys using, and has anyone used the stinger meter are they decent? Or the 99 cent ones on eBay are they even worth the trouble to hook up?

I am looking to build a 4th order or wall in a Tahoe at the c-pillar. I am looking at either 3 or 4 woofers. 1st question, has any one had success with a 4th order build with only 3 subs? 2nd question will a 4th order with 4 subs or wall with 4 woofers work well at the c-pillar?

Quick Question What is considered Mid Bass? To be more precise, the frequency range. I hear this usually when people put 8"s on their doors (which I plan to do), but I would like to have clear what exact range is mid bass. Im guessing 100-200hz?
