i have an 08 impala with 2 12 ssd in a ported box, n i wuz wondering wut all should i dynamat? just my trunk or wut? cuz i really dont wanna rip out all my nice new interior. and will it sound better if dynmat the trunk or will it sound weaker, cuz i dont mind the rattle of the trunk, but i def dont want to loose overall loudness.

I'm always looking for ways to improve my daily driver. I am not an audiophile that can tell a whole lot about staging and imaging but I do listen to alot of music that reveals the best and/or worst of a system and I do love clean output at extreme listening levels. I have been pretty happy with my Morel tweeters and Peerless 6.5" mids with passive crossovers (my favorite amp on them to date was a US Amps USA-2000 running at only 8 ohms...extremely clean with a ton of headroom. Anyone have any USA-2000x's for sale? ) Anyway...my problems have been as follows: I burned the coils in the 200w rms Morels once already and had to rebuild them...and the two 6.5 Peerless mids…

I'm going to be putting a marine speaker under the hood of my car behind the grille I want to run a kill switch into the cabin so I can only turn it on when needed I'm looking for something that will not cause me any resistance or quality loss problems I'm not real sure how to wire something like this until I see the switch but I'm guessing you only run the (+) to the switch and leave the (-) one whole wire and no i am not turning my car into an icecream truck........ its for the drive in movies Thanks and have an awesome day

Like the title says. im looking for a project ride to build a retarded system in. i am looking to compete a little so i want to put good numbers. I am NOT looking for a tahoe/yukon for clear reasons. there is already one out there... i have 4 saz3ks and im going with 4 SSA subs. either 4 18s or 4 15s if need be. I have a 4k-$5k budget for the new ride. i wanted a 94-96 caprice wagon but i cant seem to find a clean one for a reasonable price around here. big body cars in houston are all bought or beat up.

Sup SSA! I'm lookin at DC Lvl 4xl m2 18's (Fully Loaded) or Custom Built Psi Platform 3 18's. Space and power isn't a option. I started this in the morning, and just finished. From all the testing I've done I haven't run into any issues, but feel free to try it yourself, and post back. Hi everybody. I just installed my new high output alternator today hoping that it would stop my voltage from dropping like what would happen with the stock alternator. But it didn't. It sits at 14.1 volts where as the stock alternator sat at 14.4. I did all the big 3 upgrade wires in 0 awg wire as well. I am running a bzr1200.1d at 2 ohms with a 12" Type R D4. At 14.4 volts its supposed to push 900 wrms but the new 180amp alternator has the same voltage drop that the stock alternator had... Why isn't the new alternator keeping the voltage up?? Im not even pulling anywhere near 180 amps. Any input would be awesome.

How many times have you rode down the street going to the store or to a friend's house or something, and you are at a stop light and someone pulls up with the system bumping and they think that they are the Shyt. what do you do when this happens to you? I personally. turn my system up for about 10secs turn it back down and hear nothing but sounds of the street. embarrassed, the other person puts their's on mute in shame. I thinks it funny a little. Well sold my synergy 35.1 so i can go more power for my freshie dc level 6 18. Really wanting to look into the synergy 7.1 to match my 4.150x... has anyone had good or bad luck with these, the 7.1 or something similar in power and price? 7500x1 at 1 ohm for $1599. Ive wathed the dyno runs and watched youtube vids of the amp but not talked to anyone firsthand.

So everyone, I got pulled over yesterday for, as quoted off the ticket. "loud car stereo - unreasonable noise. No person shall generate or permit to be generated unreasonable noise or loud sound" Such BS imo...why should i get a ticket when its nt even 6:00pm and im on a main road. So I am going to do an upgrade and was wanting some feedback on how it will do. The upgrade with consist of 2 ssa icons in a a 32hz box which I would like to have a 3.5cu ft after displacement of .16 x 2 from driver with a crescendo bc2000d and will run of 4awg power and ground til I have the money to get a spool of 2 or 0 ga wire. I'm a bit confused on the rms rating of the icons since they only show 1250rms but no info on peek, which I would like to know how far I could push them.
