okay so im looking into adding a 4 ch amp. i currently have 1 run of 1/0 to my back amp right now. i'd like to split that into one 1/0 and 8 gauge to my 4 ch. ive looked around and im a bit confused as to what to get. whats a decently priced block that can split my 1/0 off to a 1/0 and 8 gauge wire.

Well I am slowly trying to improve the sound in my 2001 bmw 325i and I think I know the answer but I'm not completely sure. Currently I only have one amp which is powering my subs and then there is the factory amp thats connected to all the factory locations. Since my battery is in the trunk I have a big fuse holder about 1ft away from the battery then it runs to the amp. Today I should be getting some of those PG rds components and when I finally by some sound deadening I will be installing a 4ch amp to run those speakers. In the past I used a fused distribution block as well as the single fuse holder by the battery, but this was in a camry. I was wondering if I wo…

No idea where to put this, so it's here I guess. Move if necessary. It looks as though they're eliminating the exodus subwoofer line. The anarchy midwoofer is $65.00 right now. This is what Kevin has posted on his site.

I'm looking to put a single btl 15 in my trunk. I planned on 2 sa12's but after hearing them im not happy. I want something that hits a lot lower. It's a trunk car and sub will up fire. Going to run my bc2000 to it if it's able to properly fit back there. Dimensions..13" height x 37" width x ~35 depth. Is that enough room to fit a btl 15 n2 in there with the proper port? I prefer a lower tune. 2nd, the btl has a mounting depth of 9.625". Will that put the magnet too close to the bottom of the box? I have experience with a UFO btl 18 in another vehicle so I'm pretty sure this is the route I want to go, but if the space isn't there I'm not going to waste any money on it. T…

im about to build a box since the pre fab one i bought sucks. the spec sheet that came with the sub says the enclosure's external dimensions are 12.5 x 14.5 x 17.25 so would it be 14.5 length 17.25 depth and 12.5 tall? the vent area says 11 in^2(11 x 1) does that mean its 11in tall and 1in wide? the port length says 22 so does that mean that the port would look like a L with a 1 inch space from the wall?

I am doing an engine conversion, and the altenator on the engine is rated at 50 amps. I am looking into a 100-150 amp altenator, yellow or red top, and the big 3. I am running 1000wrms.

Bought a BTL 18. area in the trunk is tight for now... I would really like my Sub and port facing up. but if that isnt possible or not good then i will settle fot the sub facing up and the port wherever it must be. i plan to use 1" think wood i guess (not sure if thats good enough or what kind to even get) so my dimensions for the box will have to be D: 25" H: 19" W: 27" i subtracted the inch of wood from this and comes to obviosly D: 24" H: 18" W: 26" I entered this into a volume calculator on some website and it told me that this was 6.5 cubic feet. My question is, is this correct? and if not what is the true cubic feet of these... im pretty good at math but i couldn…

I was talking to a guy in an audio shop and he was telling me about how each vehicle has a specific hz range which if you have your box set to that hz, that your subwoofer would sound louder in your vehicle. Which of course, the box would have to be built to the spec of the subwoofer. For example, if you have a blazer and its "specific hertz" (lets say it's 40hz), so if you have the box tuned @ 40hz then your sub would be playing at optimum loudness in a blazer. Is this true or false?

  14. I'm going to be putting a marine speaker under the hood of my car behind the grille I want to run a kill switch into the cabin so I can only turn it on when needed I'm looking for something that will not cause me any resistance or quality loss problems I'm not real sure how to wire something like this until I see the switch but I'm guessing you only run the (+) to the switch and leave the (-) one whole wire and no i am not turning my car into an icecream truck........ its for the drive in movies Thanks and have an awesome day

Sub is coming in today, really stoked. Bought a box, had it made to the smaller Icon 15" dimensions provided by SSA, but it was too big. Now according to the measurements I made, I thought the box was fitting.... wrong. It was a little off, and that made a big difference. Now I'm getting another box made for the IA Lethal Injection 15" and would like to know of anybody who has had experience with the Charger. If anyone has had a box in their Charger, how big was it? Any kind of help would be sick, I would make a mock box but I'm short on time and have no cardboard at the moment.

Does anyone have a dodge quadcab or have knowledge with the vehicle to tell me what i could fit behind the front seats. I don't have a problem lifting up the back seats because i don't plan on using it anyway. I wanna put 2 12's where the second row seating is typically. I know the second row seats lift up.

My girlfriend has a 2010 Elantra and wants a basic system that'll sound good and have decent output. She really likes the look of DC subs and I already know DC makes good quality stuff. I'd like to get her a single Level 3 12 in a nice box made my Pound that Sound or Fisher Customs. The amp that caught y eye to power the Level 3 12 is a Kicker ZX750.1. Is that a good quality amp?
