so I bid on a "Lot of car amplifiers" on ebay the other day.. pics were small and hard to see but I took my chances because I knew what he had was worth something. Today I opened up the box and found a almost brand new MINT Soundstream reference 300, Alpine MRV F300 in the same condition with all manuals etc, an audio control 2XS Series II crossover in the same condition and 4 sets of monster cable RCAs. I was going to buy to re-sell and keep the cables but these amps are too damn pretty. Heres the best part.. it only cost me $76 bucks

I have a o9 dodge charger and i want to do two 15 inch icon subs,ansd a single saz 1500 or audioque 1200,would i be able to do the big3 and change battery to a kinetic and be fine on my electrical upgrade?

This is his product and it is the ultimate subwoofer enclosure! Just thought I'd share... I may have to incorporate mewtwo and jedi in to my next enclosure...

I currently have two RF P3 12s, a Hifonics 1208D amp, a 1 farad stinger cap. and 4awg wire all around. yet my electrical is VERY noticably weak, headlights dimming a TON and just overall weak flow rate. im looking at a new battery, like the http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart...products_id=101 should i replace my factory battery, put it in line with what i have now, or replace it with where my cap. is? i plan on getting a new, more powerful setup this summer, so there will be even more power needed. any suggestions? if you need any more information, just ask. i konw i missed something thanks a ton!

Hey Guys Theres A Daddy Long Legs In My Enclosure. Can See It Through The Plexi Glass Who Thinks I Can Blow It Up ? It Started To Shrivle With 100 Watts

I have an ea alternator with an external voltage regulator. 12v under the hood and 16v 8400 in the rear. When i turn the vehicle on and adjust the regulator charge at 14.4 volts under the hood, the rear is charging at 21+volts. so, ill adjust the rear batt to charge at 18-19v and the 12v batt under the hood is charging at 12.4. Why? Could this be because the batcap 8400 hasnt been charged in several month and the 12v battery under the hood is at proper charge btw i do have a system setup to run a 12v and 16v....like a step down does this makes sense? lol

half price car audio . com has what is listed as 500 foot rolls of 0 guage stinger for 180 which for me comes out to 200 shipped. Deal of the century? Horrible misprint? Isn't that false advertisement and they can get in trouble if they dont give it to me for price advertised? I've heard that the site is legit from a few people but noone has noticed the 0 guage

Im getting a new setup. 2 Fi Bl 15s and a 3000D. I plan on rewiring everything, doing the big 3, etc. Would i get dual 2 or dual 1 ohm? How would i wire this for both performance and daily use, IE: how many ohms stable and such. What options would i want on the subs, such as cooling, universal. Thanks, Drake

Can someone recommend a decent program that tells me what Hz bass is contained in song? Preferably freeware I've looked at a few through google searches but they either don't tell me the Hz accurately, say the wrong Hz or dont make sense eg. Spectra Scope / oscillometerxz / Graphic Equalizer 09 / SpectraPlus any help appreciated!!

I installed the battery negative to ground... ...that's all I'm doing today. Maybe a couple of days from now, I might install the amp ground... ...one of these days, Ill run the power wire.

So I just finished making my box its 5.0 cubic ft after displacement. I have 0 guage coming on monday but I am currently running 4 guage and don't have my extra battery and big 3 done yet. I am playing my sub and playing it reasonably loud. Will this be fine if I play it for a week till I get the 0 guage and the extra battery wired up??? I have an 05 denali and my lights are dimming when stereo is turned up.

So i have started my modified SQ build with a solid front stage going active with an alpine 9887 and mach5 mlis and seas neos all deadened with second skin and now i need a sub stage but i have no idea what to use. I want maybe 2 10s or 1 15 because i would like it to get decently loud but be tight . I listen to rock and rap. I also need another amp somewhere in the 600 watts rms range but im not sure what is good for relatively cheap. My total price range will probably be around 400 i don't really want to go any higher and i don't mind good used equipment. (offers also welcome) space will not be that big of a deal but where i want to build the box is under the rear …

One 15" AA SMD of a Stetsom 7k2e. 4^3 tuned ~31 hz w/ 29 sq in of port in a '09 Yaris Sedan. DC Power 320amp alt, big three, all 1/0 wiring, stock battery. I just metered tonightat a local shop and put up a 144.4 w/ peak at ~ 41 hz. My question is "How much would I benefit from more port area? I plan on going from 29 in to 72.5 in thanks

Ok I just got my order of Knu 0/1 gauge wire in for my Power 1000 install. To make things easier I ordered 0/1 eyelets from Waytekwire.com. When I went to put the 1st eyelet on I could barley get it on the wire! I had seen this in the past with Knu 4 Gauge but this time I had to tap the lug onto the wire with a hammer (Not to crimp it but to get it on the wire it was so tight). I really don't think I will ever have a problem with my crimps seporating from not enough bite! Way to go Knu! If anyone is having second thoughts about ordering from them, order it, you can't go wrong! The wire is awesome!

I have some questions, hope I can get help. Where can I buy 2/0 AWG wire? Whats a good brand? model? Does 2/0 gauge really make a difference over Zero (1/0) gauge? Is anything thicker (3/0, 4/0) than 2/0 overkill and waste of space? Thanks

i hope i dont sound like an idiot but i have 2 15" 150 watt 16 ohm subs, theyre like dj speakers, i want to use them in my car, what amp is right for these and how would i wire it? im terrible when it comes to figuring out ohms and ive never heard of 16 ohm subs till my friend gave me these

well i am redoing my whole system (not that i had much, maybe doing a whole system). So i have a 15" (the one with no logo) in a sealed box. I think it is around the size of 2.5-3 ft^3 and i have a Viper 1200d amp (1200w x1 @1 ohm) Now the question is, what else should i get to complete the system? I am thinking an Alpine HU but i am clueless from there. I don't want to break the bank but i want it to sound good and keep up with my SI. This will be going in either a late 90's prelude or 2 door accord (should be getting in the next couple weeks). so would you suggest a diff head? EDIT for the thing that is to small is called ring terminal i need a bigger one So i finally got the mofo through the firewall, damn was that a pain in the ol geezer Now my fuse cable the end with the metal attachment for a bolt wont fit because the hole is to small. Can i buy a bigger size? Also what is this red rubber thing and can i remove it? Maybe i can get it to work then, doubt it but im not expert
