JUst curious man, Rockford use to be the Goto company for me, now it seems as if they have been conversing with best buys pres. or something to sale crap.... The last RF sub i bought was last years model, it said it could handle 900 rms right, so i got my jbl 1200.1, had the gains down, but had it so it could play a lil bit, after about 3 days i was back at BB asking for another sub, gotta love there warranty policy...HAHAHAHA, That could be a thing to do buy a whole lot of BB subs, get the warrant, goto comps burp the subs at whateva ya wanted, then take them all back hahaha... But i really dont know ABout RF any more, their stuff looks nice, but i have not really heard …

I was just wondering if anyone had used copper ring terminals for the ends of their wires when doing the big 3. I got a bunch of them for free but am a little worried about them corroding under the hood. Also I have read many times that when you do the big three to leave your original alternator wire and run a second line directly to the batt, but the Hi amp alt (165) that I bought says never to use the original just pig tail it and run a new 4 gauge or better wire directly to the battery. Let me know what you think its for a 1997 jeep cherokee.

DL/Buy a good quality version of it. You might have to turn up your bass a little bit, or since the song is pretty light, your overall volume. BEWARE: I believe it's around 4:48, the song does a killer low note, then all the sudden the bass amplifies after it so get ready to turn it down or your amp is going to clip severely.

I got the pleasure of hearing Cableguy's truck at USACi World Finals this year. It was great to say the very least. I've got an old school record player, Sony 100 disc changer, an old AKAI amp (from what, the '70's?), and a pair of JBL 3-ways. It sucks. So ... as some of you know, I do fine wood working in my spare time (coffee tables, china cabinets, cigar boxes, gun cabinets, pens, bowls, anything out of wood). I have a zx1500.1 kicker amp 1500 watts at 2 ohm's//. 2 ohm stable,,,, a duralast gold battery. (primary) 0 gauge knu wire. I just put it all in my f-150 . it all worked great with my two type r 12" wired at 4 ohms. but i recently got a 15" Fi BL fully loaded dual 1 ohm. I built a box and wired it up, set the gains and it worked great for about 4 hours. then the amp suddenly shut off. i'de hard reset it and it would work for another 2 minutes and go in to protect again. so i got the duralast gold. cuz it worked great with the amp and 4 type R's at 2 ohms in my galant. no voltage drops. .......... so i put one in my truck and it made no difference. eventually it just didn…

Everytime i shut the car off while the radio is on i get a big BOOM sound outta my subs i check the ground and its not it i added another battery thinkin that was gonna stop the BOOM made it worst i dont know what is going on my best bet is thats it the HU i have a EQ hook up as well and wen i turn on the car the EQ lights up 1st then the radio take a good 2 min to get going could it be that i wired somethin up wrong and its causeing a big boom sound?

I am planning to utilize the space under the rear bench of a boat for a sub for listening in open space. I would like to get the most punch with this volume and I'm looking for recommendations. My overall goal is a balance between loud efficient bass and a decent flat response for bass frequencies suitable for most kinds of music. After MDF board thickness, I have an internal space of 3.5 cubic feet to work with. Since this is a boat installation, I assume that it would be advisable to consider an enclosure designed for home use as they are better suited for open space for this application. First, what is the different between the Original, and the Extreme Dynamat? Because, I am thinking of just getting two packs of the Original Speaker Kits. A set for up front, and a set in the back. hi, I just got a Kenwood DVD player with monitor (KVT-819 DVD) and when i tested it, i do get the sound but the screen is not showing any video. It is still at the playback menu but i see no buttons to press to show the movie. anyone familiar with Kenwood DVD player? thanks.

Ok I promised a tuturial on how to package a heavy item so here it is. I recently had a pair of Shocker Sig Motors ( 80lbs Each) shipped to me. I explained to the shipper my technique and once again it worked flawlessly.
