Which one should I do.... I have a SAZ3k and power to back it up.... I already have a box built to seven cubes tuned to 33hz that I was using for my BTL but I offed that to get a new sub. A few more things This is going in a 96 jimmy with 3 layers of second skin and for power as of right now we have a 300amp iraggi alt with the process of building a bracket for the 2nd alt I have sitting here. Hey ssa, I ordered some sa-10 's and should be here in a couple of days. I need some help on the enclosure. I have about 4 cubes to work with in the back of a 97 maxima. They will be on an ap30001@ 2ohm load. and im looking to hit killer lows and sounds good. Not gearing to much for any high numbers. I have a 2008 Mustang GT/CS that I'm in the process of installling a complete system in. I'm ordering either 1 or 2 12" SKAR audio VVX's pushed by a AP15001D, with a custom ported box for the lows. I will be running my audio through a Pioneer AVHP3100DVD HU. I want to replace the factory door speakers so that I have the ability for the sound to not get drowned out by the subs. I will soon be working on walling my 1997 Honda accord with 2 18 inch DC subwoofers (level 4 with level 5 soft parts), running on 1 (soon to be 2) HC1800 batteries with stock alt, 1800 kenwood amp, zero gauge. Now i will be working on this project and i should be done sometime after December. My question for any car audio smarties out there is this, I will post the stats of the subs below for the level 4's and the level 5's. Now keep in mind that they are STILL level 4's but they contain level 5 parts (such as motor and spider). So my subs will fall in the middle of level 5 and level 4. Love my 15" wardens and 20.1s, installed by DJ car audio (Fayetteville Tn.) first show pulled 145db. Now we have a problem, nothing changed since show, cant pull over 140db. any suggestions? Please help

The situation: Getting my 12" BTL this weekend.. The amplifier I have currently is going to have my sub screaming for .. I'm wanting to feed it at least 2k rms. The question: Assuming I have the electrical to run 3000 watts at a stable voltage, would it be and audible difference from 2000 watts just on a daily setup? This is not for numbers at all. Simply for listening experience. I've heard answers coming from both ends.. I don't want to spend an extra 100-200$ on another 1kw if it's not going to be any louder to MY ear than 2000 watts. hello i have a factory build stereo my install was done yesterday. i have hyfonics zeus zxi 6.5 component set the problem is when i raise the volume the tweeters and speakers don't produce the same voice as they produce on low volume they sound like someone has switched off the treble completely. the installer told me that this is happening because the factory stereo is not giving proper output thats why this is happening. any suggestions :-s i know my english is not good but if u don't understand me then i'll post a video after 1 hours when my dad comes back from office. regards simmer

so i went to the corner store with my buddy to get some bud so we would have something to help us get motivated. and we put the beer on the counter the guy said be carefull it was in the freezer for awhile and someone turned our freezer all the way up and froze everythig and so i wasnt worried cuz i though beer didnt freeze. so we head home and got my subs warm then was pouding on them before we got home to start my rebuild.( adding another 18 ) and when we got home my buddie opened a bottle and it was all frozen he asked if it was a fuckin joke. i said what happened and it was all slushie he said but i thought it couldnt freeze! or am i just stupid

Well I was originally going to do SPL comps but I haven't been to one in two years and I figure it may be time to move on.... So I figure, should I keep my 15 or sell it? I am thinking of doing a different build - from 1 15 to 4 10" woofers.. Not too sure what kind yet but probably Fi bls (or maybe qs) and strap one amp to them for now and if I want to upgrade it I have the electrical for it (3 bats in the trunk and a 350 amp) strap a bigger, or another amp on. But heres my question mainly - how will having more cone space but less power do? Will it be just as brutal if I tune low or will I be missing out a lot?

Well my trunk latch has failed, my license plate has fallen off and the back driver side door lock has stopped working sense I put in my system but.... I downloaded and cranked to the max, banged that at least three times in a row for some friends / spectators and I noticed after that the dust cap wasn't even warm. Now I take it this is a good thing (signal isnt being clipped) except does that mean I can be pushing that speaker harder? If so what should I try and do? I have my gain pretty high, my SSF is set to 30hz (box is tuned at 32hz and it just happens to be right where that song peaks for my car) and I am looking for more ideas.. thanks!
