Well my starting batt decided to poop out today. I noticed a lower charging voltage than normal, I shut my truck off and voltage dropped from 12.8 to 12 with in 5 min so my front batt is pulling my rear batt down. I went outside an hour later and it was at 10.5 so I'm guessing bad cell in my front batt, it is 5 or 6 yrs old. So I am prolly gonna get a dura last platinum. It's the agm version of the duralast gold. Any other suggestions?

I'm going to start building a box for my 6 15" incriminator 187s, they will be going in a 2000 Yukon denali and will be getting 3000 rms too all, I just need some help designing a box tuned to around 30 hrtz, thanks

I'm currently using two 18in btln2 on an xs8k in a 05 Hyundai Tucson enclosure was design by ram. I demo often with my four doors open and it sound great but there's a problem with loading when my doors are open I loose the deep sounding bass that I love. I'm either going with a ported wall down the center or a 4th order band pass. I'm worried that with the port being so close to the door that I'll have the same problem with loading that's why in considering band pass. New sub will either be the team fi or dc lvl6. So my question is what sub and orientation would best suite me app? If any....lol!

if i'm planning on putting an aq2200d to a fi btl 12 daily 2ohm wired to a 1ohm load and ive done the big three and planning on adding 2nd battery in trunk the box is 2.5ft3 tuned to 35 would i be safe with my stock alt its 110amps at idle and 160 @2000rpm?

I'm looking to reduce a bit of the noise from under the hood. Can I use raamat BXT or secondskin's Damplifier underneath the hood for this application. Also, is there anything else that I could use or should along with one of those products. This is for my GMC Sierra 04. Thanks guys!!

Sending a message down from the Great White North, Will freezing temperatures ruin/damage subwoofers or amplifiers? Its gets pretty damn cold up here and if need be ill bring them in for the winter.

My friend has an 02 Mustang GT convertible. He wants to cram a BTL 15" inside. His rear seats do not fold down. The question is...If his seats were not folded down would that affect the bass significantly or only just a little bit. He was thinking of taking out the rear seats but that would expose the convertible motor and stuff. The first task is to see if a 4.0cuft box would even fit back there... Thanks for any help.

well, today i just bought 2 15" PBX's. i have to say, very nice subs. with only about an hour or 2 of play time on them, the SPL is incredible and the sound is very tight. unfortunately, i have to have these beasts in a sealed box, since i can't fit ported unless i sacrifice ALL trunk room. each one is running off its own Infinity REF1210A (1300 watts @ 2 ohms). i just can't wait til these beasts are finally broken in, and i can turn the gain up a little more, then i'll be pounding. but, so far i'm VERY happy! for pics and such... I seem to have a lot more voltage drop to rear fuse to amp when the seats are up, rather than down. This is a trunk car. Is lack of air flow making the sub work harder? I have the rear 6x9 vacant..

As the title says Where can I get remote wire? Is it possible to get it without a car kit? I need to connect my new Sundown amp but I dont have any remote wire lol

First, a little history, it's been about 2 years now that I haven't had subs, I traded in my Chevy Blazer for a leased Cruze, so I didn't put my subs in it, I let my friend use them. Now I no longer have the Cruze, I now own an Impala. The set up I ran in my Blazer was 2 Cerwin Vega S.1000 amps strapped together powering 2 Pioneer Premier Championship Series 12s at 1000wrms a piece. I loved it, they hit harder than anyone elses set up that I knew and they sounded really nice. One of the amps ended up blowing, so I only have one of them now, and the subs are stuck in my buddy's trunk. Now I know 2 Pioneer 12s doesn't sound like it'd be the greatest system in the world, so …

Basically im not a Co Ax expert. I need one with clean highs, low end extension i dont really care abotu and try to keep it around $75 if yo ucan. i THINK i need 6x8's. as efficent as possible. They are for my GF's moms explorer, doing Co Ax's and a little ported 10. i want drop ins so i have as little fabrication as possible.

ok well i hooked up my new rw and blew my amp after 2 days and i put a new amp on it and it has ground noise and i tryed another amp it still had ground noise i redid my ground new washer and such and looked at my power and remote wire and i still have the ground noise can you help me thank you

I am currently running a single sundown sa-8 under my rear seat in my truck. Dual 2 ohm voice coils. Powering it with a us amps md -1d At 4 ohms. I want a little more and was debating about buying a Memphis mojo 8” to fit in same box so I could wire it down to 1 ohm to get more juice from the amplifier. The mojo Is rated at 900 w rms 1800 max(stated on website). The amp pushes 1200 w at 1 ohm. (Claimed) the sundown is rated around 500 rms. Any suggestions on which route to go? Is the Memphis better then the sundown?

I have a powerbass xs15d2 and I've been hearing a rattle. So I inspect the sub and the basket is loose from the upper plate. This would be a defect not user error correct? Also the sub still plays fine and don't rattle while playing music parked but only rattles when I hit a bump or dip in the road. Should I use it till it get replaced? Any suggestion are appreciated.
