I'm looking for someone in the Indianapolis or surrounding area to build a box for me. I keep getting $350-$400 quotes and was thinking I might be able to get one made cheaper/maybe not. I have zero tools so there is no way I could do it. The subs will be 2-15"D4 IA LI to go in a 07 Ford Escape with usable dim. of 40Wx22Dx22H in a ported box tuned between 32-35hz. No need to carpet since I think I'm going to use bedliner. These will be powered by a SAZ-1500D. Thanks in advance

I am hoping to updrage my chit duralast to a optima yellow top. I was wondering if i can do this with a stock 70 amp alternator? I dont know much about electrical and need an opinion whether this is safe.

Im getting an Optima yellow top on sunday for a good deal.I also hear that the batcaps are magnificient also and out of sight.My question is should I get 2 optimas or get one optima and a couple of batcap 800's.I dont know how many batcap 800's im getting because they are so small.

Hi everyone I am looking for some suggestions on a good 3 stage battery charger to charge my 4 deka group 24 AGM batteries that is good for both agm & standard flooded batteries my budget is around $100.00. Desulphation a feature I would like to have. Some of the chargers I have been looking at are the Deltran Battery tender plus , Battery minder 2012 agm, NOCO Genius 7200. Those are just a few in my price range I am not looking for the best charger but one that will be safe for my agm batteries that will maintain, fully charge & keep them in top condition. I'm basically wanting to compare frequency response curves of subs, and I'm wondering if people feel Winisd Alpha is a legit way to do that? I believe the program calls it "transfer function magnitude". The program also has a "spl" field that I also wonder about. Thanks.

I am planning to utilize the space under the rear bench of a boat for a sub for listening in open space. I would like to get the most punch with this volume and I'm looking for recommendations. My overall goal is a balance between loud efficient bass and a decent flat response for bass frequencies suitable for most kinds of music. After MDF board thickness, I have an internal space of 3.5 cubic feet to work with. Since this is a boat installation, I assume that it would be advisable to consider an enclosure designed for home use as they are better suited for open space for this application. What do you think about aq subs?

I rebuilt my box and actually made an advance in performance. The amps can be driven more before they want to clip. My question is, when I measured the voltage (at Idle) while driving the system higher, the voltage on my two Kinetik 3800's dropped to 12.4 volts. I do have another Iraggi 260 Amp Alternator. Do you think I should install it? I wouldn't play it at this level normally but only to either brag or at a competition. Advise please. Thanks, JR

Yesterday My HDC'S vibrated the screws out of the sub itself and Fell At the Box

well, today i just bought 2 15" PBX's. i have to say, very nice subs. with only about an hour or 2 of play time on them, the SPL is incredible and the sound is very tight. unfortunately, i have to have these beasts in a sealed box, since i can't fit ported unless i sacrifice ALL trunk room. each one is running off its own Infinity REF1210A (1300 watts @ 2 ohms). i just can't wait til these beasts are finally broken in, and i can turn the gain up a little more, then i'll be pounding. but, so far i'm VERY happy! for pics and such... Im trying to learn more about hlcd's and I only know of two brand which is illusion audio ch 1 and the krypt audio one. The illusion audio is cheaper but I cant find a website to even purchase them. Can someone just do me a favor and just post some links to different brands of HLCD's?
