What do you guys think of a btl 15 and an audioque 2200d

Hey guys i need help on a port design for some Fi bl's. Like width and height.going into a 2003 camry. LET ME KNOW IF MORE INFO IS NEEDED.

I've decided for my four door tahoe z71 2004 on going with a Pioneer AVH 4400, Was going to do the app radio but it only has 2 preouts. Along with that i am going to be getting a crescendo 5800bc amp, a total of four FI Bl series Subs (either 12 or 15 inches) with the cooling option, not sure on 1ohm or two ohm impedance. Along with that i will be building my own ported box tuned to 35 or 30 hz. For the tweeters i am just going to be running two crescendo ft1 and four pwx 6.5. Haven't chosen the amp on those. I do know i will need to upgrade my electrical system on my car. I'm just posting this for some feed back on what i could enhance or if 15 inch subs would be better …

A friend of mine just got a car and wants a bit of bang in his trunk. Door speakers will be stock And just an amp for the sub. Still working on Convincing him on getting the rest. Car: 2004 Honda civic 4door Sedan Alternator: 70a? H/u: Probably my current pioneer 8500bhs? Amp: I was thinking 500ish watts Sub: probably 15" sealed. Hey guys i just got a new Lexus is250 and planning on starting my system with adding a sub. i will be making a custom box for what ever i decide on. would like opinions on some decisions. i am attempting to stay with the SQ range i like a little volume but im sure any upgrade will give me the sound i am looking for in that respect. Alright got my SAZ3000 in today, all installed.. went to set gains and couldn't get any voltage out of the amp.. 39volts is what I got with gain all the way up.. aiming for 50 (3000watts). Lowpass was set fine, subsonic wasn't set too high, bass was on the HU. Pretty stumped right now. Also the subs are at 1 ohm.

Hey guys i currently have a Memphis m3 15 and a pr500 amp in a 4.3cuft box ported @ 34hz. Im either going to pick up a sundown sae-1200d or a saz-1500d amp next and im wonering what sub would be a good match in the 12-1500w range. Im mainly looking for eye blurring ear hurting bass and the m3 just aint cutting it. also im looking to spend around 350 for the sub.

A gremlin that ive experienced once before, and that disappeared on its own before, is back and making me a bit furious. Lows are diminished, kind of loose and hollow sounding. The higher notes are overly strong and seemingly impervious to lpf settings, have a sort of trembling effect to them too. Lower notes often come thru with an initial high note hit thats very pronounced and then goes into the actual note that should be playing but weak and with that "trembling" type effect mentioned earlier. Hi everyone I am looking for some suggestions on a good 3 stage battery charger to charge my 4 deka group 24 AGM batteries that is good for both agm & standard flooded batteries my budget is around $100.00. Desulphation a feature I would like to have. Some of the chargers I have been looking at are the Deltran Battery tender plus , Battery minder 2012 agm, NOCO Genius 7200. Those are just a few in my price range I am not looking for the best charger but one that will be safe for my agm batteries that will maintain, fully charge & keep them in top condition. Ok I have a 95 Honda Civic EX, I don't have the big 3 and My alternator only pushes 70 amps, I know I know it sucks. Ok I finished installing my sound system today and am having an issue. Well I just went back out there and found out one of the subs is blown.... So that means (Second) the smell was coming from the subs????? I have 5+ ofc power and ground wires running to the amp, coul the smell be the amp too? or would it just be the subs? No I DID'NT have the gain all the way up at all, just lowpass. hey guys I'm doing a trunk build with Subs forward and port to sealed off well my question is my seat don't fold down I took it out and behind the seat there is an x frame metal from going in the trunk so does that give strength to car or can I cut it off need help

I have a couple questions about setting the gain, and the settings I should be using on my head unit. My setup is a IDA-x100 headunit from alpine. (Pre-Amp is 2volts) My subwoofer is an 15" Q, and amp is a SAE-1200 Sundown. On my headunit, I heard that the subwoofer level should be set to full, 15. But I didn't know what to set the base level at, so I just set it to full, 8. Then I tuned it to 36volts using a dmm, (Thats what the tuning instruction sheet that came with the amp said to tune it too) It sounded good, but I feel with that much power, I should be getting it a little louder. So I put the bass to 0 on the headunit, but then I could turn the amps gain up to maxim…

Hey guys, I have a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D and a Kicker 300 4 Channel amplifiers that i am wanting to get tuned correctly because my first time around i blew 2 of 4 door speakers and subwoofer the first 3 days of use and now with my second try i have them tuned not to max but to a point where i know they are not clipping. My question is where can i get a good quality oscilloscope or some distortion detector for $100 or less so i can have these running at their max. I would like to buy the smddd1 but im already 900 deep in this system and cant put any more into it so im trying to find cheaper options. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This would be my first time getting an extra battery with a system and i have only a little knowledge on how to wire this. I am going to receive my AQ2200d and will be upgrading my stock alt to a 200A one and getting a yellowtop. So how am I supposed to wire all of this? I have a 99 toyota camry with 2 fi q 12s on a saz 3500v2 I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with camry. I have my subs & port firing to the rear & it is not bad but I was wondering if anyone has had the subs firing forward & port to the side & how it did vs. sub & port to rear. I am having a slot port built right now just wondering if anyone had gain or improvement doing this in a gen 4 camry. I am just looking for a suggestions I know ultimately I am going to have to just experiment because of all the uncontrollable variables. I just got a Kicker s12l72. I was planning on getting the 40hm but I got the 2 brand new for a steal. But Now Im confused on what amp I should get. Will the Kicker 750.1 be fine. And should I wire it for 1 ohm or 4 ohms? Thanks

Ok guys I recently upgraded cars and I am already desperate for some bass I am restricted by space since its a convertible but I found a solution that keeps me and the gf happy Space was a huge issue so I have decided on the most bass i could get out of flat sub....nothing like my btls I will be running a single JL 13TW5 but the problem is they have a single 3ohm coil......which is really frustrating that means i cant bridge a two channel and a monoblock will not be making optimum power so i want to feed this thing 500 to 600 watts but am having trouble finding an amp that will do it, where i dont feel that I know the jl 500/1 v2 will do it but 400 dollars for a 500 doll…

Im trying to upgrade my current system myself. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry with stock speakers(3.5's on the dash, 6x9's on the front doors and rear deck). I have a Crescendo s800.4 which I will be running 2 Crescendo FT1's tweeters(replacing the 3.5's), and 6.5 PWX's(replacing the ones on the front doors). How would i wire them to the amp so i can have them for the front channel as i will have my stock rears running off my deck until i upgrade those down the road. The FT1's are 8ohms and the 6.5's are 4 ohms. My subs will be 2 FI BL's running off the BD2000 from Crescendo.

what is the length or volume of a vent in a 2cu ft ported box tuned to 28hz supposed to be? I am trying to figure out a way for my sealed box to have the ability to add on a vent to turn it into a vented box. Suggestions.

I am building a box for 2 SA-12's for the trunk of my altima. I want to have a square port between the 2 subs on the front of the box, looking somewhat like this: O | O sub port sub Using 3/4" MDF and outside dimensions, my box's height can only have ~ a height of 16.5", a width of 33", and a depth of 16.5" (however, the depth can be altered a good bit if needed) I need to know what dimensions to make the port and the dimensions of the box itself if anyone could help. Ok I have a 07 dodge charger, i have a Fi BL 15. I want to build a box and have it walled off right in the middle of the trunk where the trunk mat splits to fold up. are there any websites or anything that can help me with the demintions and the build? also in the top of the trunk it slants down where they made room for the 6x9s. its my first time attempting this, so im kinda confused. well here are a few pics of what i want it to look like when its done, but i only have one sub.

For the amp its between the SAE 1200 and the Us amps Md1d. For some speakers i dont really know but i ve been craving these in my doors and some tweeters so they can match the subs. I have an s10 with an ex cab, and i was wanting a system that would hit hard but at the same time not sound really bad. From what i have read is that a BL is what im looking for, i was thinking 2 BL 12s in a ported box. Im not too sure on the amp or if those are the subs that i would want for sure.
