ok so ive been wanting to re-do my setup for some time now in me 2000 chevy blazer 4 door. as of now i have (had) 4 RF p3 12's and a t1500. i now have a sundown 3500 and want to move on to some higher quality subs. now heres my dilema, i wanna compete in meca shows but the rules state that my box cant be over the back of my seat. now ive been looking for 2 "small ported box" 15's that i can pound on. my buddy has 2 american bass hd 15's in a blazer xtreme doing a 147-148 and hes in my class but i dont like the hds. i need some suggestions on what kind of subs i can get to be louder than him but still haave a fairly small ported box. my max dimensions would be 37.5 x 16 x …

I hope this isnt a stupid question but here it goes... I have watched a good amount of videos on clipping a signal and what to look for on a o-scope (square waves). I was just thinking what if the producer makes the waves square in production? I know a lot of dubstep artists do this. I do listen to it on my system and some djs / artists do make good low bass. My HC 1800 came in today and I was lucky I ordered the side post attachments cause I'm using it as my atarter and system battery and found out it was too tall and was able to fit it in my battery tray on it's side. Damm that thing is heavy but it sure is the best battery I ever used. My system is louder with cleaner highs, tighter bass and a broader stereo image (not need for a cap now).also my RF T6004 was cool after a half an hour and my RF T6002 was a little warm wich is definatelty better than scalding hot with my stock battery. Is there any way to wire (1)dual 1ohm sub to 2 ohms? My buddies selling his RF R500.1 and its only stable at 2 ohms.

Im about to order new subs as we speak just waiting on a reply. Should i go with 2 of the ascendant audio havoc 12 inch subs or 2 of the 12 inch fi q series subs fully loaded? I know there both geared towards sq so any answer would be appreciated

I saw a Alping IVA-W205 for $415 locally and It includes the wiring harness, Ipod cable,box,all manuals,DVD while you drive relay and two remotes. It was supposedly only used for a month. I have been looking at getting a new HU for my next setup when I get a new car and was wondering what you guys think of this double din touch screen or if I should just stick with a single din that would be cheaper? My goals are just to get good SQ from the HU and I want blue-tooth, so any other options would basically be a bonus. I will be doing the big 3, amping front stage speakers and then have a sub in the back.

This my current situation: 2006 Honda Accord coupe, stock everything. I plan on keeping the stock door speakers and just adding a subwoofer. I have: Pioneer DEH-p6000 headunit Sundown SAE-1000D amp SSA 10" Icon Subwoofer I had everything hooked up in my xterra, but recently sold that and bought the accord. i know most people run a ground wire from the battery up front and then ground the second battery in the rear. but i dont have the room to run 2 0 guage wires. so my question is can i just make a good ground in the back and b done with it??? because i thought a ground was a ground. thanks for the help

I have been wondering to myself if i should tearout my current system and start over with something else... I have my 2 Fi Bl 18's 2008models and have been thinking of going back to 12's.. I have 6 alpine type r 12 just sitting around doing nothing...I would like to buy 4 sundown sa-12's.. I'm not sure how they compare to the type r's, i have not used any sundown products before.. I've pretty much reached the point to where i'm sick of the car audio shops ive been dealing with and their bullshit, I really need to learn how to install my own stuff. What do you guys think is the best way for me to learn how to install car audio.

Been looking around for a good 6.5 half component set speakers for my door for good midrange!!! The problem is cant find any speakers i like for under 100$. Im going to power the bad boys with a "Infinity reference series 7541a" amp. Open minded for any speakers suggestions.

I'm sure this will sound very juvenile to pretty much everyone on this board, but after doing some research on the topic and not finding what i was looking for, I found this site and thought i could get the answers i'm looking for and it would be a bit more clear as to what i'm trying to do. I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. Currently i have 2 12" kicker cvr's powered by a ssl amp. Im planning on changing to 2 12" Fi q's and maybe the bl's. With a sundown amp along wiht components and a 4 channel amp. I will be changing the alternator and the battery also. Does anyone have any info on these subs or a better recommendation for my setup?

Ok, I managed to work in an extra $500 into my stereo budget (mostly working OT) and I'm not sure what I should do with it to get the most out of my system. So I was wondering what is the best way to secure an enclosure in a car ? Preferably not permanent, but so it can't be stolen or so it won't slide around. It's a 9cuft box, and its going in the back of my Jeep Cherokee.

has anyone heard about the fi btl back order or when they are gonna be taken off back order. i would really like to order some drivers but i cant see dropping 400 on a sub and not getting it for who knows how long. im patient but i at least need a time frame.
