Will i get louder with 1 15" BTL fully loaded in a ported box on the same 3000 watt sundown amp recommended to me, or the 2 12" BLs on a 3000 watt amp in a ported box? everything is the same, the goals and everything, but i am just curious on this one....please let me know...also can anyone recommend me some nice component speakers with tweeters....i like polk audio, but idk if there is anything better please let me know thanks

My alt charges at 14.4 Have a batt bank, and stays above 13v whith hard bass hits. After a while my subs loose "thump" I still have some bass I'll turn the volume down and it comes right back. I have my gain set to 7 at 28 volts well below max output. Brand new T1000-4ad running two P3's.

Me and Duran are arguing about this on Yahoo. I like speakers behind my head.... But he says no. I say yes. I was thinking 4 6x9"s again. Thoughts? And also, one thing that I have never understood fully is Active vs. Passive. I will be using the settings in radio and at the amp. So, Plz explain to me in DETAIL what active vs passive is. so i got my speakers into day, now some people say to mount along with the driver.. and some say to mount high on the A pilelr, well my cross overs, have two spots for tweeters,... one for main tweets and another for image tweeters, lets talk

But if that person did build a box I was wanting to know how much they would charge for box I need and what would be the Pickup/Shipping terms. Hello, I recently received a 12" btl. I put it in a well built box (I have pics in the build log section), on a Sundown saz 1500 amplifier. I had a weird noise coming from the speaker at my max volume. Even if I did not change any settings from my previous setup (I had an xcon 15" on it with NO problem), it seems that my gain was too high. I turn it down and everything is good now ! But I want to find good sounding test tones to set the gain right on the amp. Can somebody show me where to find some ? I think in the 50 to 60 hz range. I set the gain by ears, and I will try to see what I can do with a DMM for that. Thanks in advance.

ok so ive been wanting to re-do my setup for some time now in me 2000 chevy blazer 4 door. as of now i have (had) 4 RF p3 12's and a t1500. i now have a sundown 3500 and want to move on to some higher quality subs. now heres my dilema, i wanna compete in meca shows but the rules state that my box cant be over the back of my seat. now ive been looking for 2 "small ported box" 15's that i can pound on. my buddy has 2 american bass hd 15's in a blazer xtreme doing a 147-148 and hes in my class but i dont like the hds. i need some suggestions on what kind of subs i can get to be louder than him but still haave a fairly small ported box. my max dimensions would be 37.5 x 16 x …

well.i have a friend and he needs basically choosing an amp for a 10 w7 .this what he plans to buy but however he needs help choosing an amp that *needs * to come from amazon.i tried changing his mind but its his only option.so what will be a good amp for sq and a good price.

Hello everybody I need help on selecting subwoofers for my setup. I finally saved up enough lunch money to do it. I just can't decide on what subs to get. I've broke it down to 4 subs. 1. Fi Q ferrite 12's @ 1750rms 2. Sundown U serious 12's @1500rms 3. Soundqubed Hdx3.1 12's @1500rms 4. Skar zvx v2 12's @1500rms I have all the electrical and a H/O alternator to run everything I just can't make up my mind. Can someone please get me over the hump? Thanks for your time.

so i bought some ppi sedonna components and i just know got around to hooking them up and hooked up one of my crossovers and it would play anything out of the tweeter outout. i thought it could just be a bad connection but redid the wires and it still wont play switched to my other crossover and it plays fine. just wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to fix it??? thanks
