I have a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT and was hoping to get some input from everyone on three specific things. 1. The mic for the Bluetooth isn't that great everyone I've talked to with it, say that I sound "far away" and I want to know if anyone knows of any mic's that can pick up your voice easily so the person you're talking to can easily hear you? 2. What would be a great backup camera that I could get for this unit? 3. Will this Ipod cable work the same as the Pioneer cable ? Hi guys, I bought a PAC Audio adapter to "add an amp" to my factory stereo. The adapter runs around $100 from the PAC site, so I did a little price checkin' around the net. I found a great deal on ebay for $75. shipped from a car dealership out of New York. So I ordered. Everything arrived great, got it installed, and started tweeking the amp. Everything worked great for 2 weeks, when all of a sudden the PAC part burned up. I contacted PAC and they told me they can't help me because I bought it from a NON-AUTHORIZED DEALER. I'm looking to put a single btl 15 in my trunk. I planned on 2 sa12's but after hearing them im not happy. I want something that hits a lot lower. It's a trunk car and sub will up fire. Going to run my bc2000 to it if it's able to properly fit back there. Dimensions..13" height x 37" width x ~35 depth. Is that enough room to fit a btl 15 n2 in there with the proper port? I prefer a lower tune. 2nd, the btl has a mounting depth of 9.625". Will that put the magnet too close to the bottom of the box? I have experience with a UFO btl 18 in another vehicle so I'm pretty sure this is the route I want to go, but if the space isn't there I'm not going to waste any money on it. T…

I'm going to be pushing 3300 rms in a 5.3l 2002 Chevy Avalanche. I've heard all the great reviews on Mechmans products but its a bit pricey. What h.o Alternator and battery do u guys recommend that won't break the bank. The system is only gonna be a daily driver.

ok so i am looking to get either 2 15" BLs or 2 15" Qs. i am powering them with a Rockford Fosgate 20001bd amp, which i was told throws out about 2800 watts of power when i called Rockford. i am also building a custom box outta 3/4" MDF that i'm not completely sure about dimensions for yet. now i am leaning towards the BL because even though both the BL and the Q have the same power handling, the BL i am told can take more punch, which would compensate for the 800 extra watts from the RF amp. but everyone says that the Q is all about sound quality. is the BL going to have good SQ along with it's SPL? if i can hear that the BL will have good sound quality or better, than i…

System specs: Fi BTL 15" Rockford t1500bd pioneer deh-p6000 ub Olds intrigue I cannot figure this out, when my friend turns his sub off at the head unit and plays music, his sub will play but not to the beats of the music, sounds like humming. I thought it was gain set too high but after adjustment there was no change. these exact same wires ran his BL and hifonics amp with no noise. any help would be greatly appreciated.

my bro is getting his 2008 charger sys installed. he has the subs 2 spl15 but they will need space so the box will be built into the trunk. what do ya'll think of this price? the total quote was 2200: the amp is a memphis mojo 2500 $1300 the box is $300 yellow top batt $200 it seems like im missing something but the rest is wiring, relay, amp rack, labor, and other miscellaneous. the only thing else included is the shop gives a 3 year warranty on everything they do, that includes the amp. we usually do this stuff ourself but this is out of our span and we he wants it to look pro' something we dont worry about when we do it.

I bought a dcon 12 before I switched cars. I want to put the sub in a ported box, the site recomends 1.75 cubes but has anyone had success going smaller? Reason being I need to put things in the trunk from time to time as well as have access to the spare tire. If need be I was considering reconing the sub to a 10, but I'd really prefer not too as the sub has never been used. If it matters the sub would be recieving 350 rms. Thanks!

Hey guys, Im new to SSA and car audio in general. I have been doing a little bit of research but would like to have other opinions. My question is in your opinion what is the best deck, speaker, and amp set up for around 500. Sorry if i am a noob but i had to ask. I am getting really tired of the speakers i have now in my Jeep Liberty, they absolutely suck and i have to iPod hook-up so it is time to get some new equipment. I may add a sub later when i have more cash. Thanks in advance guys!
