  2. my bro is getting his 2008 charger sys installed. he has the subs 2 spl15 but they will need space so the box will be built into the trunk. what do ya'll think of this price? the total quote was 2200: the amp is a memphis mojo 2500 $1300 the box is $300 yellow top batt $200 it seems like im missing something but the rest is wiring, relay, amp rack, labor, and other miscellaneous. the only thing else included is the shop gives a 3 year warranty on everything they do, that includes the amp. we usually do this stuff ourself but this is out of our span and we he wants it to look pro' something we dont worry about when we do it.

$30 brand new. Hell, I couldn't imagine even finding a plate amp this cheap. I got the whole thing for a fraction of the plate amp. Guess I'll have to set fire to the old CPU subbox, and plug the driver into the 240 plug.

Quick question. I will be running 4 18" BTL's. Upgrade wise, big 3, 300 amp alt, and about 4 kinetik 2400's.....i will be pushing about 12k watts to the subs as it is, roughly 3k each sub, well that is what i plan to push to each at least. I am about 90% positive i will need two alternators, what do you think?

I bought a dcon 12 before I switched cars. I want to put the sub in a ported box, the site recomends 1.75 cubes but has anyone had success going smaller? Reason being I need to put things in the trunk from time to time as well as have access to the spare tire. If need be I was considering reconing the sub to a 10, but I'd really prefer not too as the sub has never been used. If it matters the sub would be recieving 350 rms. Thanks!

Can a line out converter cause distortion in the system? The reason I ask is because I have some of the ED EHQS 12's and I hooked a 12 up to my brothers system in a 2 cube sealed box on a RF P3001, on 400 watts, and it sounded clean and got pretty loud. But just now I hooked the same sub up to my girlfriend's system also a 2 cube sealed box on Diamond 400.1, @ 2 ohm only 200 watts, and the sub is bottoming out in her setup. My brother has an aftermarket pioneer HU and my girlfriend is running off of a converter and her stock Pioneer HU, she has a Scion TC. Could the sub be bottoming out now because it is off of a stock HU and converter, does that cause a dirty signal?

Is 12gauge speaker wire sufficient for running a saz-1500d to sa12s. I'll be running the amp at 1ohm. Speaker wire is about 4feet in length. If it can't handle that much power then can I just double it up and run two strands for each positive and another two for the negative.

I just have a general question about current draw. I am seriously concidering jumping on the 2000d presale and was wondering if it puts out 300 amps max current draw at 1 ohm, what will the nominal and max draw be at 2 ohms. Is there a mathmatical formula I can plug numbers in? I plan on running 2 2000d's at 2 ohms each since i have 2 dual 4 12's. Thanks guys, I still love this forum.

Gonna put some subs under the rear seat in my 2007 Silverado. If I face the subs firing out into the cab, the biggest subs I can fit without moddifying the seats are 8's. But if I face em up, I can get away with 10's or possibly 12's. My question is: Would firing the subs up into the bottom of the seat effect their sound? Is this advisable to do, or would there not really be a difference? Thanks.

Ok, well i just finished installing my btl and i decided to just drill holes in the box to run wires through to my amp and i used silicone to fill in the holes, so my question is how long should i let it set up before i decide to turn it up safely to tune it with out blowing a hole through the silicone? btw for what it matters i live in middle ga. so its really humid all the time plus its been raining last two days, ive heard that will play a factor in its cure time?

So I just filled my box with polyfill and I do all my connections. Then I connect the amp to the box, throw the fuse in, and jump in the car in anticipation of some wonderful sounds. To my disappointment, the music sounds exactly as it did prior to installing the subs. My first guess is that the amp isn't connected properly and is not powering up. Upon inspection the amp is turned on. It's a bit late and I'm too tired to start taking things apart. I'm pretty sure all the wiring is secure. I'm just hoping that the screws I used aren't the problem. I will feel like an idiot they are the problem. Instead of using a those fancy speaker terminals I used some bolts …

  21. Does any one here own a dd9515g that is 2 ohm? f so how do you wire it down to 1 ohm? I know you have to connect both positives and bot negatives. But this thing doesnt say which is positive and which is negative. And the way it connects is weird. Pictures of to wire it down to 1 ohm would be great if anyone has any. It will be powered by a Exile 2400.1 amp BTW. Does anyone know wether or not this amp is any good???
