Can anyone suggest what perfect audio system is okay for 2007 Hyundai Tucson? For reference, I love Alternative and Rock Music.

I can get a Tsunami 1/0 Fuse holder (new) with a 250 amp fuse for $20 Shipped. So I have three questions. 1. Is this a good deal? If so, then I need help answering a couple questions. 2. I currently have a 90 amp fuse and have a Cadence ZRS-8 doing around 1800 rms probably. I am pretty sure the 90 amp fuse is bottle necking the power (if I have my volume all the way up), will this fix the bottle necking problem by going to a 250 amp fuse? 3. Is 1/0 good enough for 2k rms?

im going to get a whole new system as soon as i get a job (i have been apply at alot of different places so i hope i get a job haha)but anyways i need help choosing what i want. i want two 12's and more than 1000 watts. i was thinking subs: 2 skar audio vvx-12" sub amp: AQ1200d front speakers: crescendo ccx 6.5 speaker amp: ??? want a 2 channel HU: ??? something around $150 so i pretty much need help with the speaker amp and a HU. tell me what you guys think about the rest

yes, I know kicker isn't a real high end brand but i got an excellent deal on 2 12 inch L5s and a kenwood kac 9152D 900 rms mono amp. the guy i bought them from built a very piss poor box out of subflooring material and basically gestimated a slotted port dimension. the box performs about as well as a dual brand bandpass box. he was using a head unit with a very good EQ and in his integra the drivers performed well all things considered. in my jeep however, they only operate (I'm guessing here) in the 50 to 65 hz range well and only give me a bit of a hum in the low range. now, I know you can still get a good low end response out of a set of 12s. I've been sitting on the gear in my sig below for the past 3-4 months waiting on the box to arrive, which did about a week ago. I'm relatively new to the car audio scene. I know quite a bit, yet have little to zero hands on experience. My last sub was done by Best Buy just to shed a little light on my ignorance. Hey guys, im helping out a friend( older) put a nice HT in his new house. Only 1 problem....the wall that the t.v is on is short and tower speakers would sick out on the sides of the entertainment center. I'd like to keep it fairly cheap, we have a budget thats in the mid range. I will have specfics on friday since me and my bro are gonna check it out. I have acess to most of the mid end HT speakers around my area so i can eaisly check them out and demo them You guys have any reccomendations ?

So last summer I was on an unknown mic at a local audio shop and hit 148.2 with my 15" Fi Q on 1500 watts. I knew that was way too high so I had always been curious what id get on the TL. Today I found out that number is a 142.26 in the dash with driver window down, and 140.xx sealed up. I dont think thats too bad considering what my sub has been through... First I blew it so i tore it apart, recoiled it, and patched the spiders Then the magnet cracked/shifted so I shimmed it and epoxied the hell out of it Then the cone blew apart, epoxied once again Ran off a clarion dpx11500 (1500 rms at 1 or 2 ohm) at 1 ohm with the gain about 1/3 up, peaked at 36hz in my 4 cubes …

As it states in have a few questions about a new system. So far in have a set of i65c in the front doors and an alpine ute52bt I'm not sure where to go from there. It want to run passive due to i don't have the ear for tuning. Also if am looking at an xcon. I'm not sure about amps to power what is have now. Or if it should look at other things.. any info would help or suggestions.

Hey everyone, just bought a 96 honda civic ex coupe.. looking to upgrade my door speakers. this model vehicle has a component speaker system with a 6.5" midbass driver and 2" tweeters.. I'm wondering if these are hooked up to a crossover because I can't find one in the car.. And is it worth it to keep the crossovers (if there are any) and just upgrade the tweeters and midbass? and one more question is temporarily i have some pioneer 6.5 coaxials hooked up to where the midbass drivers would be, so far they sound good running off the headunit but should i not do that because im supposed to use a midbass driver?

So, this is about the only event that I know of even remotely close enough for me to drive to. I will be there (hopefully my Bronco will be done) along with my brother and possibly more people we know around here (Seminole). Hoping this will be a good time and we will be able to demo. I called but got no information whatsoever, I just emailed them to find out some info. I will post up anything I find out. Has anyone else been to one of these events?

Custom Cherryman box, 1.6 ft3, tuned at 34, wired at 1ohm I'm deciding between a new IA10.1 for $390 or a gently used SAZ 1500D V3 for $360. I know the SAZ is under rated but I cand find any bench test results on the IA10.1. Im imagine the 300 RMS between the two amps cannot be heard by the human ear. Would there be any difference in SQ between the 2 amps?

Blew the power supply in my amp. Had it fixed and just installed the amp back in. On zero volume there is a loud alien like sound as soon as i turn on the headunit. Could this be a bad ground? My right mid fell from its baffle and the frame was resting on the metal door. Did this ground blow something else? Thanks for any input. Steve

Well, Tang Band has a new fan. Today I installed a Pioneer 7700 cd player, a planet audio vx2002 on a set of fusion powerplant 6.5 comp set, and a jbl bp600 on 2 tang band 740 8" subs in a 1.3 ft3 box tuned at 33. I'm pretty damn impressed for two 8"s that I got new for $80 a pair. Heavy little subs, built well, 12mm x-max. I have 2 more on the way But as it sits it makes for a VERY clean sounding system, I wasn't expecting the amount of low end output, It's not 150 dbs but defintily enough for a nice daily beater, didn't expect the low end authority. Hey... I might have found an 8W7 that could fit in my budget...however, I've got a question. Do JL's recommended enclosures work well at home? I've heard they're optimized for in-vehicle cabin gain. If so, does anyone have recommendations for enclosures (sealed or bass reflex) for this little beast? Thanks in advance.

when playing on music it makesa popping noise on different tones it does it alot i have a o6 s15l7 4ohm wired at two it makes no sence and it pretty loud not hard to miss it

I am making a list of everything I need for my system and I need help. I plan on getting a Fi BL 18 loaded with a Sundown 1500 watt amp with a 10 cubic foot box tuned at 30hz. I want to use one of Sundown multi channel amps for the mids and highs probably the 100.4. I am gonna get a new starter battery and a battery for the trunk, isolate the battery in the trunk and get a larger alternator. Run all power and grounds 0 gauge. These are the things I am not sure of yet, what head unit to get, what mids and highs to get, what crossover to get, what brand of batteries to get, what size of alternator, and what type of equalizer. I've been trying to figure this out and figured I would put it out there for the gurus. Is there any real difference between speaker level and line level signals other than the voltage and the ability to drive a speaker level load (2-4 ohms vs 100ish or whatever for an amp). I guess what I'm really asking is this: Say we have a headunit that puts out 25 watts at 4 ohms. which by my calculation would be 10 volts. Now lets take that and plug it into an amp that can handle 10 volts (or split into two amps for 5 each). Is this fine to do or would it not work well?

The remote mounted dial on a big sub power amp? Never had a amp with this? Isn't it the same to just turn the sub up or down threw the head unit? Thank you guys

Well I got a second battery it's a duralast gold from autozone it says wet cell sealed, I have a second space under my hood where my truck uses the same body as the diesel but is a gas burner. I would have to custom fab a bracket to hold it there, but could I just use it inside my truck? Is that safe I've heard they vent hydrogen on non sealed I just want to blow my self up haha is anyone else done this?
