here's some pics of the 1971 impala install i'm working on (in between all the other stuff..lol) first the car... now the box build up. it's bandpass. roughly 2ft^3 sealed and 2.75ft^3 ported, two 2" x 14" ports 11" long. rough bandpass figures are 35hz thru 95hz or so. honestly have no clue, it's for a 15" treo ss, and it's my first bandpass build for anything other then flat out spl. my home away from home... the brace and parts..... and the build up...the sealed part is "stepped" to get the need volume... pretty much finished the box...here's a side shot and a look inside the beast. i'll take some more as the install progresses... yeah, it's alot of pics, but what the …

3043 watts(RMS) of pure sonic bliss comments?

Found out recently that the Sub sonic isnt a necessary setting on High excursion subs. Turned mine off. Got a looooottt more power out of the lows now. And haven't had a single problem with heat or with bottoming out. Even playing Bass Mekanik lowd slowd. Heres some pics. And vids to come soon as they upload to youtube. it was like 3 different colors, so i decided today to give it a quick and CHEAP makeover. about $5 worth LOL didnt tape much of anything off, didnt sand or prep, just painted it flat black. wheels, most of the frame, gas tank. looks 10x better than it did. only can see imperfections up close. obviously not gonna stay this way, just for the summer while its good weather to drive it. when its winter and too cold to drive, its getting parked inside, completely stripped, and powdercoated. im thinking of powdercoating it matte black as well, becuase i really like how it came out. i thought black was the last color i'd want (was thinking about something bright to stand out) but…

I'm not into competing, but I'm gonna take a stab @ Bass Race this Sunday. 2X event in Thomasville, GA. Amp rack, though not completed, but it'll be ok for Sun. Size comparison, yes those are 15s. But this box is for 4 15s w/ 180"sq. of port area. Front. Box is roughly 13.04cF NET, 31Hz. Tite bond comparison. lol Another shot. Notice the pool for my nephew? lol I also work at a pool store, so it helps in practice, lol It's getting there. Me calling it a night. well, i finally got my tires and rims i ordered in last night so today, i installed everything. -2" lift -18" xd diesels w/33" nitto trail grapplers it was the first time me or my buddy had ever messed with front end suspension so it was quit an adventure haha. i did a few before and efter pictures for you guys. here ya go before lift, and with old tires and rims.... *notice it slouching forward a little... kinda like a chevy haha now for a few during the "chaos" pics.. and last but not least. the finished product try and not drool to much

I'll start off by saying I had a shop do this for me. I usually don't shy away from installs but my wife works when I don't and I watch my 14 month old when she works so that gives me almost no time to do this. The car is a 1998 m3 with the stock HK system and factory amp. The midranges had been replaced by the PO with some 3.5" infinity’s. After listening to a set of HSK 3 ways and looking at the price I decided to go with the cheaper ESK 3 ways. The 163L comes with a higher excursion 6.5" (Higher than their normal ESK line), a 4" mid range and 3/4" tweeter. Linky to Hertz, which would replace the factory 5.25 in the kick, 3" infinity and factory 1" in the door…

i think god is trying to give me a sign that i should not quit car audio lol...... i found these on the local craigslist for...... lets just say half the price of what 1 used one goes for..... i was serching throught the local craigslist and came across these for a KILLER price and could not resist. that is why i thkink god is telling me something lol. i know a lot of people (including myself) HATE on these subs mass because they are so overpriced. but for the price i paid for these, u could not beat it.
