Some of you (denim) might know that I used to run an Explorer enthusiast site. I picked this bird up yesterday for $3500 with 42,000 mi. XLT AWD 5.0 V8. Now that we have kids the wife won't let me put my RE's in it  -

Today while searching for something for a guy on FSC I stumbled across the pics of my very first setup in my truck. Makes you remember that at one time or another we were newbies ourselves... Yep... no carpet in this bad boy (I left the windows down too often at night) Part of my front stage velcroed to the floor. 6x9's baby! don't worry though, I had 4x6's in the dash as well The best part of my first system. I am currently using this in my new truck Pop open that glove box and shazzam! ps2 screen bish! mounted on custom angled 2x4's for best viewing angle! Look down... Oh whats that? PS2 at your feetz! Incase you were wondering about the other 6x9... its doing BA… -

So I picked up a Prime lens from Sony.. I think I paid 150 for it brand new the Sony DT50mm F1.8 SAM.. I wanted the 1.4 but it was 2x the price.. but this lens is AMAZING. EPIC lens for the price, I would recommend it to ANYONE.. Especially for a budget. My next purchase will probably be a new daily lens. let the pics speak.. -

well, I picked up some cheap rims/tires for the Camaro so that I could fit disc brakes on it. they're 15" rims from a 3rd gen. not my first choice, but they're growing on me. definitely works for now. + = -

So Today i was working on the kick pods in my truck, and pulled the 5-1/4s out that i'm running. I got them from a small audio shop locally, that deals in high end audio, and i've tried to research them, and i virtually can't find anything, and i'm impressed every single time i look at them, even though i own them. And i thought you guys might like to see too! It is an Audio Development W500 Unfortunately, while trying to post the thread, i realized Picasa, which is what my phone can upload to super easy, Doesnt support the correct format to embed the images! So here is a link to the album of the few pictures i took today! https://picasaweb.go...feat=directlink -

i got my 15" atlas today, i traded one of my dub 6's for this and a 12" infinity perfect. 2.5 ported to something i dont even know it was prefabbed lol. popped it in my backseat, threw 300w with a USamps MD22 at it,and let it WANG! DDANG that thing was LOUD oh man. sounded beautiful too. hit everyyhting dead on. There was some port noise, cuz the box was built funky. The thing that also amazed me about this sub is the fact that its freakin efficient, it gets goin with like 300w in it. here is some pix of it: compared to an old eclipse 5.25", and my LI on top and the amp that ran it (the white one) im gonna build a 3 cube ported box tuned to 28 hz for this baby,… -

Got her in today, this is the biggest 4 channel amp Maxxsonics makes I believe. 4x250w @ 1ohm. Or 2x500w bridged! This thing retails $1300 and isn't a cheap amp by any means! I also wanted to play with the close up on my camera some..so thats why so many pics Cant wait to hear this thing!! -

As many of you may or may not know, I was involved in a pretty serious collision roughly four weeks ago. After four weeks I basically got fed the hell up and decided to go car shopping in Houston today, looking basically at Crown Vic's, Audi A4's, and Lexus IS's. Little did I know that on the first car lot we came to there be this beautiful unicorn sitting there all by its lonesome. Weren't no way in hell I was leaving the lot without her, and by god I did. Redemption is a wonderful thing... -
