My PC won't play videos from the internet (YouTube, etc). I know it's not the videos because 1) it does it with every video I try to play and 2) I played the same video on a laptop that was here at the house and it played the exact same video my PC wouldn't. The videos load just fine. But when I go to watch them they only play for about 2 seconds then freeze. If I fast forward to a different spot in the video, it will resume playing for about 2 seconds then freeze again. I've cleared all of my cookies and everything since this has started happening with no change. Everything else seems to be working fine.....just won't play back any video. Any ideas ??

Since I'm in the company of fellow nitpicking SQueers I figure this is as good a place as any to ask this. When ripping .wav's with EAC, what do you guys consider the cutoff point in track quality below which you just delete the rip and try again? I find that most tracks end up 100% or 99.9%, but every so often there'll be ones below that. I'm using all the highest quality settings.

Hello Guys.. I just bought the Fi. ssd10 800w 1.5 ohms, Now is that ok to put into the logitech z-5500 Box with its amp that is rated at 200watt 8 ohms. Will this damage the new driver or the amp.. I would think it would be ok for the driver without blowing the sub. Just do you think the amp will be ok?

I am looking for some music editing software on the net for free. Programs like Audacity are wonderful. I was wondering were there any other ones that might have more effects. Also I am looking for music compression software. I had Blaze Media Pro.... but that was only for a trial version. On my home machine (XP pro), for some reason my card reader, for my digital camera is not initially being recognized by the computer. When I go to plug it in (USB) with the card in the card reader, the blue screen "Beginning physical memory dump yadda yadda" come up. Hard restart everything is fine try to plug the reader back in crashes again. Ok so plug reader back in without the card in it. No crash, place the card in card reader, computer asks if I want to format the disk because it is unformated. Seems very strange since I have been using this card for a few years (and card reader for that matter) with zero problems. Other issue, due to needing to get pictures up …

I don't really know where to start with this one, so I'll start with the PC it's replacing. My current PC is an AMD Athlon XP 2500, 512 MB RAM, Biostar M7NCD Pro, and a Leadtek Winfast GeForce 6200. At least that's all the parts worth mentioning. I can't even remember when I bought it. The one to replace it is currently saved on my Newegg Wish List. You can find it here: New PC 2006 The processor, which isn't listed, is an Intel Core 2 Duo 6400 which I'm buying off Tigerdirect. So anyway, do you think I should go ahead with it all? Downgrade something, beef up something, wait for something new, or totally skimp on everything and use the extra money for a Magnum 15?

so i am in the market for a laptop as i am moving off to college.....and i found a gateway refurb on tigerdirect and it has a 1.7Ghz Centrino processor. i was just wondering how this processor compares to like the Celeron. i know my grandma once had a brand new desktop with a Celeron processor about 3 years back and the thing just sucked, it was terrible. i didnt know if this Centrino was better or if it was kind of a replacement..?
