First off, I don't know much about computers so take that into consideration when replying please. Anyways, my new harddrive came in for my OmniFi. I pulled the old one out, plugged the new one in, partitioned it for FAT32, plugged it into my Omnifi, and well, it creates a file called "\USR\newroot.xml", but it need's to be "\USR\root.xml" instead. Now, everything went fine until I plugged it back into my computer to change the file name. I cannot find the drive on my computer anywhere. It does not show up on the My Computer tab, but if I go to "safely remove hardware," it shows up. Anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hello Guys.. I just bought the Fi. ssd10 800w 1.5 ohms, Now is that ok to put into the logitech z-5500 Box with its amp that is rated at 200watt 8 ohms. Will this damage the new driver or the amp.. I would think it would be ok for the driver without blowing the sub. Just do you think the amp will be ok?

I am looking for some music editing software on the net for free. Programs like Audacity are wonderful. I was wondering were there any other ones that might have more effects. Also I am looking for music compression software. I had Blaze Media Pro.... but that was only for a trial version. On my home machine (XP pro), for some reason my card reader, for my digital camera is not initially being recognized by the computer. When I go to plug it in (USB) with the card in the card reader, the blue screen "Beginning physical memory dump yadda yadda" come up. Hard restart everything is fine try to plug the reader back in crashes again. Ok so plug reader back in without the card in it. No crash, place the card in card reader, computer asks if I want to format the disk because it is unformated. Seems very strange since I have been using this card for a few years (and card reader for that matter) with zero problems. Other issue, due to needing to get pictures up …

I don't really know where to start with this one, so I'll start with the PC it's replacing. My current PC is an AMD Athlon XP 2500, 512 MB RAM, Biostar M7NCD Pro, and a Leadtek Winfast GeForce 6200. At least that's all the parts worth mentioning. I can't even remember when I bought it. The one to replace it is currently saved on my Newegg Wish List. so i am in the market for a laptop as i am moving off to college.....and i found a gateway refurb on tigerdirect and it has a 1.7Ghz Centrino processor. i was just wondering how this processor compares to like the Celeron. i know my grandma once had a brand new desktop with a Celeron processor about 3 years back and the thing just sucked, it was terrible. i didnt know if this Centrino was better or if it was kind of a replacement..?

so i just got Fruity Loops 6 and i have been messing around with it. well i figured out how to make beats and stuff, i have a little beat going (just starting with some easy hip-hop beats for now). anyway, all it does is it makes a little like 3 second loop of the beat i made, and i am trying to make it keep going and i want to record a song, and mix different beats i've made. anyone know how to use Fruity Loops or know of any good forums i can go to?
