I have tried Bearshare, Shareaza, and Limewire and am having the same problem. Every couple of minutes these P2Ps are starting themselves up. I've gone to options...advanced options, every logical possibility has been eliminated. I have ran spybot and I am coming up with nothing. Has anyone else experienced any of this stuff?

Any GMC / Chevy owners have experience debugging their PAC OS2? My head unit is getting no power. Also it's just my luck that my volt reader isn't working tonight either, so I'll have to grab a new one tomorrow. I've checked all all cables none are lose.

Alright, for some reason my "setup" won't run for any program. The message error I get is Ok, well, for some reason my AUTOEXEC.NT disappeared a few months ago and I was having some PC problems. So, I whipped out my Win 2k disk and added the autoexec file back into the C:\WINNT\system32 folder, and the problem was temporarily solved. Now, this is happening....and both the autoexec and dosx.exe files are in the system32 folder, but the chit ain't workin Anybody know whats I gotta do to fix 'er? I really wanna avoid reformatting my HDD

There is this new phone that's about to come out called the Samsung Instinct that has a page full of features on it. hey guys! Got a question about leaving a portable GPS in my car 24/7? I recently got a Garmin Nuvi 255 GPS for use in my car, but living in minnesota, the temperatures can get to be pretty cold. What are your guy's opinions on leaving it in my car overnight even when the temperature can drop down real low? Can I put it in a case or something or is this just a bad idea to do with this type of electronic? Let me know! Thanks

well the other day i ran a virus scan and i had a crap load of trojans on my comp...got all them fixed....then i d/led a good spyware program cause i had this message on my computer saying windows detected spyware and recomended i d/l something for it....so i did....well today i woke up to a picture on my desktop saying something along the lines of the little pop up i was getting about the spyware yesterday and am unable to change the pic on my desktop also im unable to use the ctrl alt del function...says its been disabled by the admin....however i am the admin of the computer...... im running win xp so u know.....thinking of restoring to a point a few days back....think…

can you guys suggest some good programs to convert my wma music files to mp3's? im trying to load some songs into itunes and itunes only will import over my mp3 songs not the wma files..ive seen some programs that charge around $60 a year id rather use one for free since im only going to use it once..but im willing to use a fee based one if it really works well..

I was thinking about buying a projector for my Nintendo Wii for the weekends only so if anyone has any experience with projectors, come on in and fill me in with some info. Now, this projector will only be used for the Nintendo Wii so i was looking for cheaper priced projectors. The ones i'm looking at are 800x600 so res is compatible with the Wii. These projectors i'm looking at have 1500-2000 lumens and about 2000:1 contrast ratio. The cheaper priced ones are considered business projectors for some reason... anybody care to enlighten the 2 choices for a custom area to project on inside the house? My screen size will be approximately 122" diagonal. 4ft vertical and 9ft 4in horizontal. I just got the projector and havent even messed with settings yet. the projected size just listed is with no video source turned on so aspect ratio may actually change with widescreen video played... haven't tried yet.

my head unit has a option where i can download songs onto a sandisk card and insert the card into the head unit, my question is do sandisk cards work with songs in wma format? or only mp3 format?

When I first bought my laptop, I was getting about 2.5-3 hours on a single battery. Months later, for some reason I'm only getting <2 hours on a single batt. Startup groups are still the same (as far as I know), program usage is the same, although I'm using more hard drive now than before (possible cause?).
