OK. So i just got portal, and i have been playing tf2 for Months. what is wrong is that for some reason when i'm in game certin elements keep resizing them selves. i think it is a graphics card problem but i dont know what to do!! for instance. the cube in portal shrinks then grows, same with the doors, and the pointer shoots to the corners. the menu is either too small or to large. ill try and get some pictures up soon. my Graphics is a EVGA GTX 285 stock.

i dont know whats wrong with my computer i get on windows xp like when it restarts my computer and i try to type in my password and everytime i hit a button it beeps the only button that works is my backspace and idk whats wrong with it i switched keyboards and thats not the problem any one have any idea what it is?

I can get a 2500 watt inverter for $100, but really don't think I need that beast in my truck just to power a few hard drives and computers. I can get a 500watt inverter for $35 but it might have a lighter adapter instead of terminals. Can I cut the wire to a lighter adapter and directly connect it to a battery terminal?

Ok so I just got Sony Acid 7.0, and I have figured out how to slow down the song tempo wise, but not the wave. If anyone is familiar with this program, or knows of an easier method, please let me know.

I was thinking about buying a projector for my Nintendo Wii for the weekends only so if anyone has any experience with projectors, come on in and fill me in with some info. Now, this projector will only be used for the Nintendo Wii so i was looking for cheaper priced projectors. The ones i'm looking at are 800x600 so res is compatible with the Wii. These projectors i'm looking at have 1500-2000 lumens and about 2000:1 contrast ratio. The cheaper priced ones are considered business projectors for some reason... Anyways, i wanted to project this projector on our garage door outside during the weekends and have Wii battles out back at night. So gots me a couple of questions.…

How do i wire it up? will it damage the sub? i have some subs lying around, wouldn't mind wiring them up to my computer

Okay, the other day, I DLed the SP2 and it totally screwed up my internet connection. Upon uninstalling, everything was fine. Well, I forgot to change my prefs for Windows updates and fell asleep the other night with the computer on and low and behold, when I awoke, the computer had DLed and installed SP2 again. Went to uninstall and restart, and now it get's to the XP screen, loads windows, then goes to the blue screen and restarts the computer. Does it everytime and will do nothing else. I called MS tech and they told me to insert the XP setup disc and it would repair windows. HA! No luck. Still does the same ole crap. ANy ideas what to do? With me asking this…

After a couple minutes of start up, my computer makes sort of a grinding sound. The constant 'hum' is still there. It's coming from toward the back (grinding) - you can barely hear it at times, but it'll get louder and you can notice it. I solved it for a few minutes before by beating on the desk. I don't know if this is a problem, but it is just annoying.

I am looking for some music editing software on the net for free. Programs like Audacity are wonderful. I was wondering were there any other ones that might have more effects. Also I am looking for music compression software. I had Blaze Media Pro.... but that was only for a trial version. I like making my own ringtones but I need the compression software so I can use them on my Phone. Thanks in Advance ~MadroX

I built this pc last night and am still tweaking it now and probably the next couple days but WOW, this pc is killer for the money! I built this pc for my mom as she was using a single core P4 2.66 @533FSB with DDR2400 memory 768mb worth. Her pc never ran out of memory.. she was just complaining it wasnt fast enough. After cleanin out the registry, defragging, removing startup programs and disabling more services... it wasn't software related... she just needs a new system.
