I am looking for some music editing software on the net for free. Programs like Audacity are wonderful. I was wondering were there any other ones that might have more effects. Also I am looking for music compression software. I had Blaze Media Pro.... but that was only for a trial version. I like making my own ringtones but I need the compression software so I can use them on my Phone. Thanks in Advance ~MadroX

Alright, for some reason my "setup" won't run for any program. The message error I get is Ok, well, for some reason my AUTOEXEC.NT disappeared a few months ago and I was having some PC problems. So, I whipped out my Win 2k disk and added the autoexec file back into the C:\WINNT\system32 folder, and the problem was temporarily solved. Now, this is happening....and both the autoexec and dosx.exe files are in the system32 folder, but the chit ain't workin Anybody know whats I gotta do to fix 'er? I really wanna avoid reformatting my HDD

So I finally got a dvd writable drive that is of this generation... Using Nero Vison Express 2 to try and burn down a few movies that I've DL'd. My concern is that it's slated to take 2+ hours to burn xxxx.divx down to a DVD disc. Nero is handling the format conversion, but 2 hours? I've been Googling, and I've found this converter... Would this be worth a shot? Otherwise, wtf am I missing? I used to be able to burn down a DVD in <15 minutes. Thanks

ok today i am going all thru our computer just looking for stuff i can delete to free up some space and i just ran into the e-mail accounts. my parents recently got a divorce and after that my mom got DSL. well our new e-mail with our dsl server works just fine, it is thru outlook express. well i found our old e-mail account but our new account is not there. i would just delete it but our new account is not there so i dont want to screw anything up. what can i do? if i wasnt very clear just ask me to explain better. thanks

Working on a project and I need to find out how the computer and USB actually work together. What is between the USB port and the circuit board? How does the computer actually receive/send the info.? mainly I'm looking for pictures, diagrams, drawings....something to show the relation ship between the two.

I built this pc last night and am still tweaking it now and probably the next couple days but WOW, this pc is killer for the money! I built this pc for my mom as she was using a single core P4 2.66 @533FSB with DDR2400 memory 768mb worth. Her pc never ran out of memory.. she was just complaining it wasnt fast enough. After cleanin out the registry, defragging, removing startup programs and disabling more services... it wasn't software related... she just needs a new system. i just got a new phone finally. its a LG VX5200. i was just wondering if there was any way that i could make my own ringtones using the music i have on my computer. i hope, i dont really want to pay $3.00 for a 30 second ringtone.

i am pretty sure i know what i did, but have no idea how to fix it...i uninstalled Total Video Converter and when uninstalling, it asked if i wanted to uninstall some files and me not thinking just figured they were something worthless... well to make a short story shorter my DVD won't play anymore with any program i use any idea how to fix this? i already tried to reinstall total video converter and it still doesn't work!

I'm sure most of you know that the Decaf music can be downloaded at Ram-Designs.com, but that's only the new music he re did. If anybody wants the old music I have Zips 1-32 before he took those down. There's a lot of songs that he deleted from the new music. i picked up a motorolla backflip, that is flashed for tmobile, but when i put in my t mobile sims it ask for a sim unlock net work pin. i looked all over the internet, and found a few codes but none worked, it gives me 10 trys then locks permently from what i understand i have already used 4 of the 10, any help would be great thanks guys,

New system. Basically just a fileserver. I'm running into a problem that has me beat. With no app's running windows will flash a BSoD then auto-reboot. hey guys i am starting to get a lot of lag on my xbox and PlayStation that i have hooked up wireless not sure what the real problem is but would like some suggestions on what to try out . I currently am using the westall model 327w dsl modem with wireless ant. In a different part of the house to far to run wire i have a linksys gaming adapter Linksys by Cisco - WGA54G Support Hooked to the xbox via a cat 5 cabel and wireless to the ps3. I have been using this setup for about two years with no problems.
