We have a 4gb Xbox 360S. Bought NFS: Rivals for my son. Didn't realize until we tried to play it that it requires 2gb HDD space. It doesn't have 2gb free space and there apparently isn't an HDD installed (the slot on the right side behind the door is empty). Do I have to buy an HDD for this game, or will a USB flash drive work? My concern is that I wasn't sure if flash memory would work with the game or if it had to store the game to an HDD? What is the best/cheapest route to make this and future games work? If I had to buy an HDD, I think it would be better to take the damn game back and buy something else. We've had the Xbox for 3 or 4 years and this is the fir…

  2. I wanted to share this with you guys, it was posted by a guy on my forum and I think is very important especially since we are all using computers and the internet. If you have cable or DSL internet service, please read this entire page Let me first say that I'm not trying to sell anything on this page. I'm not profiting in any way and I'm not trying to get you to buy any software (most of the software I recommend here is free for personal use). Man, i've been doin so much research on this when i have time my head is about to explode so i am going to see if you guys share the same thoughts as what i'm seeing and reading. I had a 51" Hitachi rear projection tv. I am replacing it with a lcd or plasma of at least 50" but am wanting to stay below $1200 or around that since this is an unexpected purchase for myself. I have researched 720 vs 1080 and from what i see... unless i primarily watch blu ray movies or if i am sitting very close to the tv(i usually sit about 8-9ft away), 720 is the way to go since there would then be no visual difference and it's cheaper. The only thing they say is make sure it can accept 108…

Does anybody have this? It was semi popular right after the song came out few years ago, and I've lost it over time. For those who don't know its, Rascal Flatts- What Hurts the Most. I'm not 100% if its boosted, or a whole new bassline, I can't remember. So if anybody thinks they have it, will you please upload it somewhere I can download it? Or a link to somewhere that has it already? I haven't searched really hard for it yet, figured I'd post and give this a try.

I have been doing lots of searching for detailed information on exactly how this is done and the safety issues wih doing this and have not found anything worth mentioning so let me lay out what i think would work and see what you guys think? To do so i would assume you would need the following- PSU with single 12v rail. PSU with 12v rail output equal or greater than the fuse rating on the amp. Cut off ALL 12v wires going into connectors and splice them all together to form the rated 12v output ready to connect to Power input on amp. Do the PSU trick so u can turn on and off the PSU via kill switch in the back. If all of this is true, then i have a couple questions. 1- Mos…

myself I use the "My Disc" and the 2000 IASCA SQ tune up disks. as for "Regular" music I use dire Straits Brother in Arms CD, Enya(for imaging), and any AC/DC for the in your face guitar riffs. I am trying to see if I can get a broad sound from just one set of alpine SPX 177a comps. with modified Crossovers in my doors and using a pillar placements for the tweets---those and the Adire Audio Kodas have some of the best off axis response I have tested in a speaker.

I know almost nothing about phones and some of those commercials that show a guy walking past the apple iphone line and having a clearly superior phone has got me thinking. I'm eligible for an upgrade and have an Iphone 3gs right now. I love it and would like a similar device with newer features. I know a lot of phones out there are "iphone killers" at a fraction of the price. What should i get? AT&T has a lot of smartphones in the free to $19 range with an upgrade. Here is whats interesting in my range and again I know nothing about them: htc hd7s htc inspire 4g impusle 4g lg thrill samsung captive samsung focus and focus flash and thats about it if I stick to the …

  18. Interested in the capability of a ramdisk.. I have a q9300 running at 3.4ghz, ddr2 corsair dominator at right under 1066. Gave just 600mb of memory to ramdisk. All my other drives in the computer are standard 7200rpm drives either individual or Raid 1. I compared my 7200rpms first using Crystal Diskmark. I only tested the SEQ test.. they were in the mid 90s in both read and write... So then i move onto the Ramdisk- SEQ = R- 2834 W- 3767 512K = R- 2945 W- 3123 4K = R- 559 W- 436 4K QD32 = R- 506 W- 402 I did a couple tests comparison of the following of both source and destination file in same location- TMPGEnc transcoding 10min video clip, standard dvd template, VBR 2-pas…

  21. Ok, this is pretty sad, but I am finally buying a new TV for the first time. It is something I am not very well versed on, hence using the power of the SSA family to assemble the best choices. A couple of years ago, when I was at Neal's house, that TV was bananas, but worry it's well out of budget. So, parameters for the purchase: $600 max 50-60" viewing area Smart 4k if possible, UHD Can order from NewEgg or Amazon Mostly used to stream HBO/Netflix/Orioles games/Penn State I've begun searching, but my knowledge is lacking and I am a little unfamiliar with some of the newer tech, and which brands to stray away from…

I would like to buy a laptop, soon. My family's home desktop is very slow and everyone always goes on it and I would like a personal computer with only my things on it. I'm very specific in what I want because there are many factors, I want the laptop to run pretty quickly just not slow. Our desktop is probably 6 to 7 years old now.. So nothing like that lol I want it to have pretty good memory considering I will be using programs like iTunes, adobe, pro tools, audacity etc. Im not going to be playing games on it. I want it to be able to be used for my recording studio, so it should have good memory/speed, USB ports, headphone jack must not be cheaply made for they wi…

Sick of networking BS between my XP & Win 7 machines with some on a domain and some not, so I am going to bite the bullet and upgrade. My hardware (i7 quad) is fine to support it, plan on just adding another hdd so that I can switch boot drives if necessary. The computer will run: Internet - primarily Office suite - Word/Excel/Powerpoint Interface with my Canon video camera & DSLR with associated LIGHT editing Act as a home automation machine - currently 90% of what I have will run on either Absolutely no gaming atm Pretty simple tasks, but what I've read knocks the 64 bit for some availability and capability of running some programs. Curious if there are other l…

I'm going to be getting some money in shortly, and I figured I'd put it towards my music computer to finally get it where I'd want... As it stands, I've got a Dell Poweredge 600SC running XP. 2.4GHz P4, 512MB cache, 256MB RAM. Hard drive right now is a Western Digital 250GB IDE, 8MB cache. Obviously, that's nowhere near enough storage for me. I was thinking about taking advantage of that guy that's selling WD 250GB drives over on CA.com for pretty good prices, Sean's mentioned before that the 2MB cache of those shouldn't cause a problem when searching/during playback...I have three open bays, what would be the easiest way to combine three drives so it looks like one ~750G…
