Im thinking of doing this considering HU's these days dont have large storage space for music..upwards towards 150-200g....I was curious if anyone on these forums is running a carputer.... Ive been to mp3car.com and they arent very active....

i got a jvc head unit that is campatible with cd-r/cd-rw. for some reason i can rarely play philips cd-rws. i have not tried any other brand but does anyone know how a good brand of cd-rw that would work well with car head units? my headunit also plays any cd-r brand just fine. o n sorry if this is the wrong place for this topic

Ok friends, my LG V20 is past the point of needing replacement, but I have not hit the upgrade point yet. Well now that I'm old, I feel I need to become self sufficient. This means getting a new phone, plan and/or network. Any Ideas? I'm Verizon right now, but they are quite expensive. I like T-Mobile and the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, with everything it would be about $80 monthly. I also like the iPhone and AT&T, that would be $199 so start off, I'm not sure on monthly prices though. I need unliminted texting, and about 500 anytime minutes. Any advice?

Laptop took a shit on me today so I was wondering with all the new technology today between nooks, notebooks/notepads, tablets and such what sort of device would allow me to exchange emails, create and save word documents, and apply for jobs online? No music or movie downloads, I don't need to be able to do multiple things at one time just some light core internet browsing, maybe some reading/research at most. I also don't need super high speed browsing abilities or lots of storage capacity, just looking for a replacement for basic every day needs.

Can anyone recommend the best deal on a card right now? I was going to build a PC again but hit one cheap on auction, has a built in 6150 that can't be great. Need a $50-100 PCI 16 card for it.

Ok so I just got Sony Acid 7.0, and I have figured out how to slow down the song tempo wise, but not the wave. If anyone is familiar with this program, or knows of an easier method, please let me know.

i have the logitech z560's (4.1 system) whenever i turn the volume knob (up or down) quickly there's a really loud crackling in the left front speaker, deafeningly loud. i have to turn the volume really slowly to try to avoid it. any clue whats wrong? i was using these speakers with my old desktop, and now my laptop and it happens on both.

For anyone that plays computer games, what are the computer games that you currently are playing? i dont know whats wrong with my computer i get on windows xp like when it restarts my computer and i try to type in my password and everytime i hit a button it beeps the only button that works is my backspace and idk whats wrong with it i switched keyboards and thats not the problem any one have any idea what it is?

my original hard drive was damaged, so i had a reputable guy whos done work for me in the past look into it, and he installed a new hard drive 32 bit system and the operating system is windows 7, but even thought the hard drive is new when i watch vids on you tube, they load very slow and buffer forever, they will play for 2-3 seconds then stop for about 10-30 seconds and again only play for a few seconds, with my old wore out hard drive i never had this problem, so im wondering if theres a setting i need to adjust or whats the deal?

I need some help picking programs to use for cleaning and keeping my computer(s) secure. Currently on my computer I use CCleaner, ZoneAlarm firewall, Secunia PSI, Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Microsoft Security Essentials. On my wife's laptop I have Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and CCleaner. Basically, what I need to know is which of these should I keep, which ones should I get rid of and what else, if anything, I should be using? Is freeware ok to use, or should I look for some kind of paid all-in-one service? BTW, I'm pretty computer illiterate (but not totally ).

ok, a few months ago we got DSL and i was expecting some problems with adware and such. well a few days ago i began noticing that some internet links were not working. it does it on all websites, sometimes you can right click and click open in new window and that will work. other times the new window will pop up and in the address bar is the site address and at the beginning it says javascript and some parentheses and some apostophes (sp.?) and all you have to do is backspace all the stuff that looks like it doesnt belong in the address and hit enter and the site will come up. none of the "java" sites work, like if there is animation or whatever on the site, then the link…
