soo not too long ago i bought some logitech speakers for my computer. well just yesterday i was listnin to some music and right speaker was really staticy. you can still hear the music but every note that the speaker its, you can hear static too. i was messing with it and it you just place a finger on the cone while its playing, the static is gone...what is the deal?

Dang, wild hair again. I have a 60wx2 chn Adcom amplifier sitting in my closet and think I found a use for it. I am looking at building these near field monitors to be used as cpu speakers. I will probably add a plate amp and an rli8 or something that boxes even smaller to go with them. On my home machine (XP pro), for some reason my card reader, for my digital camera is not initially being recognized by the computer. When I go to plug it in (USB) with the card in the card reader, the blue screen "Beginning physical memory dump yadda yadda" come up. Hard restart everything is fine try to plug the reader back in crashes again. Ok so plug reader back in without the card in it. No crash, place the card in card reader, computer asks if I want to format the disk because it is unformated. Seems very strange since I have been using this card for a few years (and card reader for that matter) with zero problems. Other issue, due to needing to get pictures up …

Ok I use Google Chrome for my browser. Suddenly today when I hove over the Chrome icon in the task bar it won't preview my open tabs like usual. If I use Win Explorer it still does, and it does for every other program but not for Chrome. I am trying to figure out what I fucked up. Can anyone help? J

Y! messenger is giving me a headache today... seems like any pm i receive signs me out. i have to receive 2 or 3 pms from the same person (and get signed out every time i receive one) untill i can talk to that person. not to mention i can't change my status and i go online and offline without doing anything... do you have any idea what could cause this ? (except a nasty virus)

so, after much consideration i decided to pick up 512MB ddr1 and add to my existing 256MB same manufacturer, same speed, only trouble is, windows won't start. tried only the new memory and windows freezes at some point during boot. the old ones work like a charm. anyone have any ideas ?

OK, recently, somehow, I got links on my desk top that I did not put there. (some travel, poker, printer crrtridge, bingo, casino, web hosting...) I can not move these icons. When I right click on them I don't get a option menu either so I can't delete then that way. Now I have noticed that when I sit down at my computer all my desk top icons are rearranged. Can someone explain what's going on? I run Norton weekly, I am fire walled and use 2 different pop-up blockers. I have no idea how this happened. Nothing new in my start menu and also nothing new in my add/remove programs file. Help!!!! I'm going crazy!!!!

I found desktopX 3.1, then started downloading themes, now I have my Dell looking like my G4

So I finally got a dvd writable drive that is of this generation... Using Nero Vison Express 2 to try and burn down a few movies that I've DL'd. My concern is that it's slated to take 2+ hours to burn xxxx.divx down to a DVD disc. Nero is handling the format conversion, but 2 hours? I've been Googling, and I've found this converter... Would this be worth a shot? Otherwise, wtf am I missing? I used to be able to burn down a DVD in <15 minutes. Thanks
