I'm looking to buy a new laptop, Alienware is what i want... The Alienware M15x. I need some opinions/thoughts on the configurations below. Dell customer service helped me out picking them.. (Its all gibberish to me) I told them i want it fast, dvd player, cd burner, and able to play Call of duty with no lag. How does this look? Just bought a new ipod nano for work (newest version) and i want to take songs from my friends ipod (old nano) and put them on mine. I also want to put the songs on my itunes music library on there too.. but i dont want to put them on my friends ipod, nor do i want to delete any of his songs. So, how can i add his songs on my computer then transfer them onto my new ipod? -- resulting in his songs and mine on my ipod Thank you!

anybody care to enlighten the 2 choices for a custom area to project on inside the house? My screen size will be approximately 122" diagonal. 4ft vertical and 9ft 4in horizontal. I just got the projector and havent even messed with settings yet. the projected size just listed is with no video source turned on so aspect ratio may actually change with widescreen video played... haven't tried yet.

So guys, I'm having a problem with youtube streaming. I can watch a video and it will stream quite quickly on any website except for Youtube, It takes ages to load. Even Myspace video's stream much more quickly than Youtube. It will take several minutes even for lets say a 00.47 second video to load. Site such a Vimeo, Megaupload Video, College Humor, Etc will load faster. I have a fast Internet connection about a 4Mb connection. Below is my DSL Speed Reports.

Our current one has a Pentium 4 1.5Ghz, 512mb of RAM, 127gb HD (replaced after it crashed), DVD-RW (recently purchased) and a CD-RW all housed in a Dell Inspiron 4300 case. i was just using the internet and i got a pop up for some free anti virus software. i then closed it. next thing you know, i keep getting all these pop ups saying my computer is infected and this random anti virus program starts to scan my PC but this program really is not installed on my PC. i get a hole bunch of random windows security pop ups also. i cant download a new AV program or any program any more it keeps stopping the program from installing. i really do not want to reformat my PC. so please any ideas would help. My Fiance got me bless her heart bought me some sweet ass parts for Christmas to build a new computer. I had to use my present video card because I have plans to upgrad to quad monitors in the near future. anyways, here's whats in the new box so far. I'm wondering if someone has any idea why a website would just stop working for me? Here's what's happened. A little over a month ago I was on a website and for some reason the pages stopped loading. I kept getting a message that said the internet could not connect to the website. I thought maybe the site was having problems, but after a week it still wouldn't work. Started checking with people and found out that the site was not down. I had about a half a dozen different communications with my ISP and they had no answer for why it wasn't working for me. OK. So i just got portal, and i have been playing tf2 for Months. what is wrong is that for some reason when i'm in game certin elements keep resizing them selves. i think it is a graphics card problem but i dont know what to do!! for instance. the cube in portal shrinks then grows, same with the doors, and the pointer shoots to the corners. the menu is either too small or to large. ill try and get some pictures up soon. my Graphics is a EVGA GTX 285 stock.

hey guys i am starting to get a lot of lag on my xbox and PlayStation that i have hooked up wireless not sure what the real problem is but would like some suggestions on what to try out . I currently am using the westall model 327w dsl modem with wireless ant. In a different part of the house to far to run wire i have a linksys gaming adapter Linksys by Cisco - WGA54G Support Hooked to the xbox via a cat 5 cabel and wireless to the ps3. Is it just me or has the website been running REALLY slowly lately? I'm on here and CA.com at the same time most days and suddenly about a week ago I've had a hard time with this site loading completely and being EXTREMELY slow... the little green box in the top center of the page that says "Loading..." never goes away anymore either.... I've been through everything in explorer and its just as slow in FireFox and on my other two computers.... just wondering if it's my going crazy or if anyone else has had problems....
