Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

The last one I went to was when we met at Papago Park and headed over to Chipotle. Honestly right now I'm at a low point with car audio right now... I really don't check the forums. I was going to do a front stage upgrade until I ran into a financial bind recently. Maybe a meetup will get that spark going again! Ive been meaning to call up some people and see about a bunch of us 2007 Seniors roll down to Orlando Watersports Complex around that time. It would be hella cool if we could go ahead and have an Audio meet at the coolest place in Orlando during the day time and sometimes even at night. I would be willing to call OWC and even travle down there (i go about once a month anyway) and see what it would take. I dont know how many of you wakebaord or waterski but they also have paint ball and Mini MotoX and a snack bar with a nice deck and tables and what not and the pro shop if you want to pick up some swagage. ok the pups are here (see show off section) ok I wanted to go with the smallest ported box design for them, if not small sealed, need help with the design... I am not worried about space with my vehicles, but I might put the box into my girls civic, and not much space to work with, hoping for suggestions from the designers they will be powered by an RF 250a2 @4ohms mono for now (shown below) {334 watts benched, meaning 83.4 watts per sub, a little over the rms, but I can back the gains down}

in lewisburg va at the wv fair grounds, hosted by loud n clear and my meter will be used. wattage and cone area will be the factor in the classes there will be spl and sq. the classes with be 3 spl classes i do believe, and how many sq classes i do not know. but the sq judge is a really good one, so webster should be owned pretty hard. starts at 10 i think, ill be there around 9 ish

Hi! I was hoping to get ya'lls (sorry, I'm not from the south so I may have spelled that wrong) input on infinite baffle setups. To preface, I'm not very interested in SPL... I'm an SQ guy. So I know one of the downsides is that I won't get loud booming bass with my setup. But what are the other drawbacks and/or benefits, assuming that I seal my trunk off perfectly? All I've used in the past were sealed enclosures and I really liked the quickness of my subs. Due to the way my trunk is laid out, though, it makes it pretty tough to build an enclosure that's attached to the rear deck (trust me!). So IB will be the easiest installation, I think. Ok its gettin closer! Who plans on coming to the show??? It should be fun, we had a good time at our last tsx show. We will have nachos and cheese, hotdogs and such this time as well. I hope it will be a good show, more people show up the more tsx shows will will have in the future
