Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

Don't know if this is the right place for this or not, so feel free to move it. We are hosting our 1st ever DB Drag racing event down here in Sidney, Montana. It will be FREE as in no entry fee-seems like we have tried everything to get more kids to come out and compete, different organizations (MECA, USACi, etc.) so we thought we'd try something different this time. We will only be giving out certificates, so come down and have some fun!!!!

Who's the closest box builder in NY??

I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find any in eastern north carolina. I'm trying to get my car metered and see what it can do but everywhere i look shows nothing. Please help

Went to my first show ever. It was an IASCA/DBDrag combined show. out of 4 events I entered I got a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd. Took first in idbl ultimate class. Don't know why I was moved to this class to be honest. I was in the stock pro 2 class and technically took 2nd in that class with a 150.3 only losing to a teammate with 2 15" dc neo's and a dc9k. Took second in 129.9 bassrace. I had signed up for the 139.9 class but this was my first time ever doing bassrace and I started off way too low and took it so easy so I had to rush at the end and ended up at 129.8 so they dropped me down. Got to the finals and when I went to hit pause on my remote I accidently hit the dow…

Couple of friends, Joey and Moose, are putting on a SPL event North of Dallas/Denton in Lindsay, TX. It will be a simple format of legal SPL with 3 classes divided by your amps 4 ohm power ratings. It would be nice to get a good crowd there to meet a few new people and have a good time. I hope to have the van there (not to compete, just for demos. I will be running the TL). No SMD subs yet, but I should have something in there If you have any questions, call or text one of the numbers below. Brian

Does anybody know of any competitions in northeast or central arkansas? I've never done a competition before since ive only had a couple blaupunkt 10's but i just bought a mach 5 18" so im gonna try and do somethin with it. And any tips anybodys got would be some help too.

Anyone in Washington have some free time on sunday come stop by the parking lot behind B&I around noon. About 20 people going so far. First meet of the year! Have some pretty loud set ups going. From a single 12" to 4 18"s!

This is from the show today 11-06-2010. Was a crazy spot just near the airport where planes where flying very low coming in for landings right over top of the crowd, was awesome!

It's that time of year again when our local university automotive department is putting on their annual car show. It falls on Nov. 1st this year and as always is open to anything and everything. There's a pretty good showing of cars every year (especially when the weather is decent) and wouldn't expect this year to be any different. I'm hoping to get a better showing of Car Audio related vehicles at the show this year. I'm trying to get everyone I can locally that's into the hobby to attend and I plan on having at least the Jimmy there if not both it and the van. It would be absolutely awesome to have some guys from the forum attend, especially anyone from Team IAK!

hey guy's, i was wondering if there are ever any events in ohio. i live in cincinnati, which is the southwest paort of ohio and iv never seen any comps going on and i want to start competing. does anyone know where i can get some info on this?

man i am psyched! i will def be there for that event!! i am almost 2 years removed from competing but i almost got my chit together and i plan on hitting some decent numbers. Anyone else on the forum plan on being there?

Hey guys I'm looking at competing in a few competitions this year and was wondering which league or whatever you call it I should compete in? As stated in the title I'm located in NC and looking to compete only in NC and would like to know which league has the most competitions in NC. Another issue is that I will be in college so weekday competitions are out unless it's on a holiday and theirs no class that day. Thanks in advance for any help
