About two hours before posting this, I got a call from the folks who organize the Cars and Coffee event in Scottsdale. Apparently, the contact person with whom I had been in corresponding was NOT the person authorized to make decisions on their end regarding our participation in this event. So unfortunately, the CATOC event will not happen because of the misunderstanding. The good news is that the two gentlemen to whom I spoke were understanding of the dilemma and offered the opportunity for discussion regarding our possible participation in their large annual event in March. This is our first attempt at a comp. There are no great awards. It's really just for fun. It's not an official DB Drag or Bass Race. I will be trying to stick to the rules so that at the next event it can be official and everyone will be used to it. Come on out if you're in the area. If you're a major competitor, you'll be severely disappointed. It's just going to be people with street beaters. It is our first try so it probably won't be as well organized or as professional as it can be. We are learning... At any rate, It should be fun. The FCBC Competition Meeting will be held on December 12th, 2009 at Ryan's Steakhouse. Location- 1034 Executive Dr, Elizabethtown, KY Meeting will be at 6pm EST. Room is already reserved, pay for your own food. This meeting will go over the guidelines\rules and finalize everything before the FCBC competition dates are set in stone. Figured I'd throw a thread up for people to post vids,pics whatever from finals and the 3x. Inac score was a 152.5 in stock pro 2. Don't know about place yet because my score was lost. For the 3x the next day I put up a 152.6 good for first place and the west coast championship.

Well, I attended my first audio competition yesterday, though I did not compete. I was there just to take it all in and watch how things went, visit with fellow enthusiasts, and have fun. It was a small MECA event. There were a few breaking the 50 mark with a VW bug that hit a 53.5 at around 50hz or so(don't remember exact). I had fun and now I am curious to see where it goes from here, lol.

Ive been meaning to call up some people and see about a bunch of us 2007 Seniors roll down to Orlando Watersports Complex around that time. It would be hella cool if we could go ahead and have an Audio meet at the coolest place in Orlando during the day time and sometimes even at night. I would be willing to call OWC and even travle down there (i go about once a month anyway) and see what it would take. I dont know how many of you wakebaord or waterski but they also have paint ball and Mini MotoX and a snack bar with a nice deck and tables and what not and the pro shop if you want to pick up some swagage.
