Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

This is our first attempt at a comp. There are no great awards. It's really just for fun. It's not an official DB Drag or Bass Race. I will be trying to stick to the rules so that at the next event it can be official and everyone will be used to it. Come on out if you're in the area. If you're a major competitor, you'll be severely disappointed. It's just going to be people with street beaters. It is our first try so it probably won't be as well organized or as professional as it can be. We are learning... At any rate, It should be fun. The one I have now is srsly outdated.. I haven't had Dynaudio in my car for like 2 years. I'll be running the Pioneer D3, Sundown 1000D, ICON 15", SEAS Nextel and who cares about the rest.

Couple of friends, Joey and Moose, are putting on a SPL event North of Dallas/Denton in Lindsay, TX. It will be a simple format of legal SPL with 3 classes divided by your amps 4 ohm power ratings. It would be nice to get a good crowd there to meet a few new people and have a good time. I hope to have the van there (not to compete, just for demos. I will be running the TL). Went to my first audio comp, loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere was great loved the judges and enjoyed talking to folks!! I peaked 143.7 at 38hz at 11.9 volts with a 30hz tune. I know it was bad on my amp I was just checking where I'm at. Came in 2nd in bass boxing and 1st in Idbl! I'm damn happy ;P

Hey guys, Long time lurker, new to register. I am replacing my prefab and am looking for some help coming up with a good design for my standard cab 2004 GMC Sierra daily driver. Sub will be SoundSplinter 12 with dual 2 ohm VC's , amp is old school RF Power 800 A2 and space I have available is 33-36 long, 14 high, and 9 deep at the bottom 5 deep at the top. I am not looking to be the loudest in the jungle, just want clear, deep foundation for SQ system and any excess SPL would be bonus .
