Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

I live about an hour north of Atlanta, (Canton, GA) but go to school 3 hours south of it. (Milledgevill, GA) Are there any competitions around this area or any really worth driving a few hours to see? Its already August, but maybe for the 2015 year? I have always wanted to go.

I'm currently stationed at sheppered AFB in Wichita falls Tx and would love to meet up with some fellow SSA brothers anyone wanna set up a mini meet and maybe a BBQ? I would totally be down for something like that!

The last one I went to was when we met at Papago Park and headed over to Chipotle. Honestly right now I'm at a low point with car audio right now... I really don't check the forums. I was going to do a front stage upgrade until I ran into a financial bind recently. Maybe a meetup will get that spark going again! This show is being held at Hooters on Bell Rd just west of I-17 in Phoenix on Saturday December 4th. Went to my first show ever. It was an IASCA/DBDrag combined show. out of 4 events I entered I got a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd. Took first in idbl ultimate class. Don't know why I was moved to this class to be honest. I was in the stock pro 2 class and technically took 2nd in that class with a 150.3 only losing to a teammate with 2 15" dc neo's and a dc9k. Took second in 129.9 bassrace. I had signed up for the 139.9 class but this was my first time ever doing bassrace and I started off way too low and took it so easy so I had to rush at the end and ended up at 129.8 so they dropped me down.
