Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events

ill be having a termlab booth for the car show.. no points no awards just fun runs. you can pre regester for 10 bucks if you want to park inside with the SPL cars. or 25 at the gate. or you can pay for runs,. come in and do your run then park back out side the gates... or you can come enjoy the cook off, car show, glow off SPL runs. beer shopping booths live music and live entertainment let me know if you want to pre regester ... i need to get a head count of pre.. and a quess of how many maybes for the day that want to park and play INSIDE the gates. thanks guys.

Does anyone have any info on IASCA events near Missouri / Arkansas / Tennessee? I have been searching for hours and the IASCA website appears to be down. I would like to try one of their shows to see how it compares to USACi. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Because of the huge amount of interest in SQ IASCA has decided to hold a Western US Regional event. The show will be held at Audio Shoppe in Riverside Ca. Registration will be from 8am-10am. The registration Fee will be $80.00 for one class and $140 for two classes. Because this is a Regional event PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER LATE. I have been very lenient with late registrations this year and I know you guys are used to this, but for this event, I will not be making any exceptions. Fees are as follows: SQC - $20 for members / $25 for nonmember / IdBL & Bassboxing will be $20 each or both for $30. $5 for re-runs limit of 2. Hi! I was hoping to get ya'lls (sorry, I'm not from the south so I may have spelled that wrong) input on infinite baffle setups. To preface, I'm not very interested in SPL... I'm an SQ guy. So I know one of the downsides is that I won't get loud booming bass with my setup. But what are the other drawbacks and/or benefits, assuming that I seal my trunk off perfectly? All I've used in the past were sealed enclosures and I really liked the quickness of my subs. Due to the way my trunk is laid out, though, it makes it pretty tough to build an enclosure that's attached to the rear deck (trust me!). So IB will be the easiest installation, I think. The last one I went to was when we met at Papago Park and headed over to Chipotle. Honestly right now I'm at a low point with car audio right now... I really don't check the forums. I was going to do a front stage upgrade until I ran into a financial bind recently. Maybe a meetup will get that spark going again!
