Hey guys, quick question, I was told by someone that when you get an alarm there are some small "horns" I guess that you can put in the inside of our car that make a hig pitch noise when your alarm goes off, and you can hide them. I gues they are like the size of a battery or something, I dont know. does anyone know anything about this or what they are called?

Okay so, The right front brake bled just fine, with no pedal presusre, Went to bleed left front, no pedal pressure but since the right front bled fine I figured it would do it again. I took the bleeder valve off to see if it was clogged and it wasnt. But i blew it out anyway. When I took the valve off, It had brake fluid on it. But nothing came through...... Any suggestions? Advantages of front wheel drive * Interior space: Since the powertrain is a single unit contained in the engine compartment of the vehicle, there is no need to devote interior space for a driveshaft tunnel or rear differential, increasing the volume available for passengers and cargo. * Cost: Fewer components overall * Weight: Fewer components mean lower weight * Fuel economy: Lower weight means better gasoline mileage * Improved drivetrain efficiency: the direct connection between engine and transaxle reduce the mass and mechanical inertia of the drivetrain compared to a rear-wheel drive vehicle with a similar engine and transmission, allowing greater fuel economy. * Ass…

Due to the bad fate of a corrupted server, CYVforums.com is no more. But, Patrick, the owner of CYV and I talked, and we decided to team up and join the members of CYV and CA-F. So if you are a CYV'er and looking for other CYV peoples, it is now at CarAudio-Forum.com. This way CYV is not gone, just in a different place.

Anybody know how much weight a door on a 2door car can handle before it would start to stress or sag over time? I may plan on doin a lot of liquid deadening to it for competition and that alone will add some weight to it.... Then later on down the rode i may decide to remove the factory door panel and replace with a full custom mold with a couple speakers in it... If what i want to do in the long run should put too much weight on the door, what would i need and where should i look at online for it?

Well, My 2007 White Diamond Escalade was awesome and we loved it. Low miles (58k) and still have over a year left on its certified warranty. So I decided since we were in good shape with it it was a good time to upgrade into something else. My wife sorta wanted something smaller because we have had big SUV's for the last 6 years or so. I was looking to get maybe a IS250 -350 but secided I would call up Cadillac and see since I already had history with them what they had that might fit the bill. I went out there with a fully loaded new CTS on my mind but after driving several cars I decided this was the best option especially since we have 2 kids and have been spoiled by s…

Have any of you seen or heard of the Hydrogen on demand stuff, to improve fuel economy? Is it real, or a gimmick? Seems dope, but of course it does to someone like me getting 13mpg. Any solid scientific evidence for these kits?

I was out in my car today doin some work to it and decided to measure resistance on connections. I measured somethin interesting and don't know what it means so am hoping somebody here might. I removed all wire going to positive battery terminal under the hood except for factory wiring. When testing factory wiring to ground, i get a reading of 1,320 - 1,780 ohms. What does that mean? Apparently, is does mean power is touching ground but in the most least resistance possible. How low of a resistance reading does a connection have to be to start causing battery damage?

I and others who own Scion tCs have been waiting for an air ride kit that can be purchased right here in America that not only works, but is Digital and not hard on the money! Well, the wait is officially OVER! ScionPro and Ogerdonz are now done testing the kit and must have passed successfully and is ready for the market. This is a FULLY digital kit on a presale price right now! Running just under $2,600 SHIPPED! until September 30th. If you need to be able to carry more weight or want a air experience, the time has come.

Well im thinking about lifting my truck (03 z71 avlanche) but i don't really know anything about lifting or where to get stuff to lift it. I just want it to be lifted and look good. Don't really go off roading but i probably will if i get the lift kit. Not sure what kind of lift to do (body lift, etc, etc.) Not sure where to get stuff (which sites sell quality stuff at the best prices or should i buy local) Not sure how big of a lift to get (what would you get?) Also not sure on what tires to get (just want something to look good but also like tires with deep treads, also should i buy online or local) Open to all suggestions and comments.

So, I'm about to order a lowering kit and found one, http://www.jegs.com/i/Ground+Force/476/9921/10002/-1# But, it's 2 door only, dumb question but, I've yet to find one for a 4 door. Would I be able to put it on my 4 door blazer even though it says 2 door? Speaking 2 door I'm guessing hass the exact suspension/frame etc as a 4 door?

Just curious if anyone knows of a product that can keep air line\fittings from experiencing the surrounding ambient temperature? I'm going to try something soon and see how it does through the winter... One of my O-Rings doesn't like the cold weather so i gotta air it back up every 2-3 days. My install has no reserve so what's in the bag is the only air volume on the car. I get the privilege of knowing something is leaking way before anyone else would, hehe. Keeps me on top of things.
