I am needing some strobe lights for inside my car. I found some on jcwhitney.com that flash at 120x a minute. Are there any strobe lights that flash faster than that. I cant find any on the net so any help would be appreciated. ~MadroX

Okay guys as you know I am prolly picking up some new wheels here very soon. I am thinking between 7500 and 11,000 down. I don't want a vehicle over say 24,000 sticker price. Wouldn't mind going used, I just want something rleiable and fun to drive. As of right now its between a brand new dodge Nitro and a used '07 Ford Explorer. I really want to stay in the SUV market cause the Formula I was looking at is just a tad more rust than I want, and for me its either big or fast. Lemme hear some opinions at to what to test drive/buy. J

Ok, I read the sticky... and I'll be searching google this week as well. My truck will be out of paint this week. I thought I'd stop by here first and get everybody's advice before I scour the net... What are the do's and don'ts? I'm a n00bx for exterior car care. My truck was peeling/cracking bad b/c of the horrible 1992 Dodge Stock paintjob. So, how long before I really work on it... and what should I do first? Thanks! nG

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...&cardist=89 The girl likes this car. It's no ///M series but it'll do for her. Her uncle is fronting her a lot of cash towards a new car for a graduation present. She needs/wants something with high gas mileage that is comfortable, reliable, and relatively cheap to fix when/if needed. Her uncle wants something that is decently quick (compared to her 4cyl '89 Camry) and that is rear wheel drive though he is open to quick FWD cars. I want something with decent miles. This is getting on the high side for me but what can I say, we've been on the hunt for 2 months and this is one of the few that is meeting all criteria. The carf…

  9. So after doing extensive research and a good number of Saturdays driving to go see different cars, yesterday something happened. Leading up to it, our favorite was the E320, a rock solid car, loads of safety features, good performance and the '96 - 2002 is one of the best ratted and most reliable used cars PERIOD. But the problem is that this car is to replace Amanda's 2 door civic, and I took her to test drive a few good examples of 99's or newer E320's. She felt intimidated by them, was nervous to drive them and struggled at first to park one. So we checked out the c230 Kompressor, it was too small for what we wanted and does not have as good a track record as the E…

And I am extremely displeased at my topic being locked over something people wont even listen to me on and think I am a complete moron. Listen, Google, and then reply. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Warpe...G=Google+Search http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_warped_brakedisk.shtml you can hit "I'm Feeling Luckey" and get that. Warping and Uneven ware are two entirely different things. If I sand half of a 2x4 does that make it warped? no.

I was all like Yay! Cheap Xenon bulbs on eBay, and Elderado is just like... No, nothing good. (though I didnt ask about everything) So, is there anything even worth buying on eBay? http://search.ebay.com/9004_W0QQbsZSearchQ...gZ1QQsofocusZbs If not, ill go to the auto shop and get them, its just they are cheap here. So any reputable brands? Good bulbs, anything? Because he was telling me how they can explode in side your cover and I really dont want to deal with that, so if I risk that with every brand on there, ill just go to the store.

My project for July...if it ever stops f'ing raining...is to repair the rust that's forming on the van's drip rail and at least put a coat of primer on it to prevent it from getting worse. I'm thinking I need to do the following - * Using masking tape/dropcloths, cover all the painted areas I don't want anything to get on. *Sand down the rusted/bubbled portions with heavy grit sandpaper * Spread some naval jelly on the rusted sections, on both sides of the rain gutter...sand this lightly off when dry down to bare metal. * Prime * Color coat Any tricks or things I'm forgetting? Like I said, I'm a finish/bodywork n00b...don't need this to look showroom quality, but rust on…

Okay, as you all kind of maybe, but probably done know, I have a Mercedes 1991 190E 2.3 trim car. As its a mercedes the engine would kill to upgrade. So thats where the VIP syling comes in. What should I do? Images Gallery with PicTiger Yes, there is some problems with the car, like the replaced light casing, and the bumper. Other then then, pretty straight car (meaning no dents). And I know with VIP style that oversized rims, like DUBs are often put on. And I dont think ill keep the car long enough to justify the body kit. Although, suspension isnt a big problem. So Ill probably do that. Rims are EXPENSIVE!!, although I might do it, just because if I sell the ca…
