Hey everyone, I'd like to know if there is an alternative to changing the color of my headlight without HIDs. I'm not a fan of HIDs because they tend to hurt my eyes when I see people driving so I wouldn't want to do that to others. But what I do want is to not have the stock "yellowish" light and have a different color like blue, white, etc. What's a good alternative that isn't so expensive?

For the requests from a few on my equpment posting to show it, heres a few shots of my marquis... Keep in mind its been in this tent shed for quite the while now. The messyness under the hood is just due to it being a test setup for the engine im building this year for the charger. Still runs great even though its a messy bish under the hood. The stripes were added earlier this year, the pics with out are a little less then a year old. Looks like brand new inside and out and underneath. No rust... Not bad for being in ontario canada. lol

  4. If anyone's looking for a cheap alternative. I've been wanting to try and clear my headlights up, they were all yellow and foggy. I did some searching around online and used some ideas for a mixture that came out sweeet. 1. I put two large squirts of shampoo in a cheap spray bottle, filled it with water, shook it, then added a few capfulls of bleach. 2. Sprayed a rag with the mix and squirted a good bit of toothpaste with whitening on the rag. (the grit in the toothpaste is what really helps) 3. Sprayed the headlights with the mix real good and scrubbed the toothpaste on with the rag. Kept spraying the light with the mix and adding toothpaste when needed. Did so for about…

for some reason my check engine light came on today while driving to work. i think there is something in my system to blame as i just installed it a couple days ago. last time it came on the negative terminal came off the battery so i put it back on and the check engine light went off. now it is back on and i looked and the negative terminal is securely connected. the engine seems to be a little sluggish now as well. what could it be?

I checked all the pressure in the tires of the 3 vehicles that are at my house Not a single one was at the right PSI. Some 20lbs over, some 10lbs under. Its crazy how much air you can loose in your tires in a matter of months. And if you just fill them up when they are low use a pressure gauge, eyeballing and using the built in gauge from the has station are not accurate. Go buy one, they arent that expensive I know it sounds lame but if kept neglected ( like what i did) you can really kill your mileage and get some nice uneven tire wear.

Who has done this? I want to change my gauges color, I'm sure I could just dive in and do it. But I want someone who has done it before to chime in and give me some tips and answer a few questions for me. Does AutoZone carry what I need? O'Riellys? Napa? Pep Boys? What was the hardest part of the swap? Is the new color annoyingly bright at night?

If their is, what is the bolt pattern difference between a 1997 GMC Truck bolt pattern and a 1996 Dodge Ram bolt pattern. A friend of mine has some 20"s on his 1997 GMC and he bought 22" and is going to give me the 20"s and I'm wondering if they will fit or not?

Hello, I have a simple question and was wondering if anybody has tried or seen this done before and thoughts on it. Its been on my mind ever since seeing it at my last job. This kind of cable is not nearly has flexible, I understand that part, but instead of smaller strands of threaded copper this kind of cableing is like, really think copper which is why I even ask. Since it is made up of thicker copper, then I would assume that it would be able to carry more current than normal cableing we see in most car audio applications. While upgrading my electrical, I was just wondering if this would be a logical move or should there be any reasons to steer away from it. My i…

  17. I have seen a few of these, but this one is really nice. Sorry if already posted. Custom Tires, Custom Wheels, Tires and Wheels Packages, Parts and Accessories for your Car, Light Truck, and SUV from Performance Plus Tire Scroll down to the right and click on virtual wheels. Allows you to view your car/truck with many different wheel tire combinations. It even allows you to lift and lower it. It's the best one I have found and no I do not have any affiliation with them. If you have seen it, ignore If not enjoy.

so my exhaust manifold on my 1995 accord ex coupe (2.2L sohc vtec) is cracked. i was quoted 150ish for the oem replacement part from my shop but i'd be willing to spend a few more dollars for an aftermarket header or if the price is right a new bolt in exhaust system (header + cat-back). i'm wondering what to expect when purchasing a performance header, what extra costs to look out for, etc. any suggestions?

I am planning to repair the scuffs and nicks in my wheels. I have been doing my research, and reading up on different ways. I wanted to see if anyone has used a specific wheel putty as I have seen a few times (IIRC in Bavarian Auto), or should I go for the Bondo approach that I have seen in a few tutorials? Thanks Considering painting the wheels after the repair too.

make sence ??? in my black lincoln i cooked rectifires left and right.. so much so that i kept a spare H/O alt i would switch them out and rebuild as needed about every 3 months,. so this time im looking not to have to do so .. i m looking to gain the power im loseing to heat back.. and NOT cook my factory, nor my H/O when i get it. let me know.. ok here goes Alternators make AC (alternating) current using a bridge rectifier with diodes to convert that AC current into DC (direct) current for use by the vehicle's electrical system. When your alternator's voltage regulator senses the need for electricity the regulator tells the alternator to start making electrical…

No crank, no luck with push start, it's a 5sp stick, drove it earlier several times, half tank of gas, but now it's dead dead. Not even a jump helped, our clock won't even come on. Just got a job interview today, hired, and need to figure this out by Monday or it goes up in smoke Any ideas? Had it for three months.
