Anybody know how much weight a door on a 2door car can handle before it would start to stress or sag over time? I may plan on doin a lot of liquid deadening to it for competition and that alone will add some weight to it.... Then later on down the rode i may decide to remove the factory door panel and replace with a full custom mold with a couple speakers in it... If what i want to do in the long run should put too much weight on the door, what would i need and where should i look at online for it?

Heres my high/low beam kit i got in today. Bulbs are 6000K and i got the 50W ballasts. Im suprised at how bright these things are! They blow my old sylvania silverstar ultra's out of the water and they were very easy to install! And Il make sure to point anybody who's looking for hid's to futurevision. Anyways heres some pics of the install and a vid of them warming up.(camera does no justice) got these at futurevisionhid.com btw Testin them out before i put everything back together.

I was out in my car today doin some work to it and decided to measure resistance on connections. I measured somethin interesting and don't know what it means so am hoping somebody here might. I removed all wire going to positive battery terminal under the hood except for factory wiring. When testing factory wiring to ground, i get a reading of 1,320 - 1,780 ohms. What does that mean? Apparently, is does mean power is touching ground but in the most least resistance possible. How low of a resistance reading does a connection have to be to start causing battery damage?

Working on a project car that has a Polar Start PS-2700 installed. Looking to find installer programming info on this unit. I found the user manual so far but nothing on installer programming. Unit is in a 94 Buick Lesabre Limited and the parking lights stay on after the 15 min run period. They will stay on until the battery is drained. Could be a wiring or hardware problem but I would like start by checking the program options first. Unit is about 10 years old, two button remote. Thanks in advance.

alright so today we were drivin and all the sudden something under the passenger side started clicking. you could feel it on your feet. if felt like the tire had a knot in it or something. so we kept driving and we stopped a cvs for about 10 minutes. when we left cvs we turned right and then the right side started clanking and grinding. it was loud. so everytime we turned right it started doing this. when the brakes were hit it stopped making the noise. so we finally got home and let it sit for about an hour and then went to the gas station and now its doing it on both sides. i have no idea what it is. im thinking maybe the cv joints or ball joints? i dont really know…

I noticed when testing outside of the car that there is a horrid metal vibration coming from the undercarriage. In case your sigs. are turned off I drive an '07 Scion Tc. My question is what should I do about it? Should I remove it or put some deadener on it like dynamat or fatmat (I refuse to use damplifier pro on outside of car (-: ) It's more then the usual body panel sound it's a high pitch rattle that I can't stand for others to hear. Shizzon, what did you do about this piece? Thanks in advance for replies / ideas.

I purchased a 8,000k HID kit for my truck off of this site this past saturday. I was emailed a tracking number, but it still just says billing information received. I have sent countless emails without reply, and was also a little worried when my invoice number was ~48 or so. Has anyone had any experience or feedback on this site? I am considering filing a complaint if they don't answer the phone this afternoon. Thanks

I and others who own Scion tCs have been waiting for an air ride kit that can be purchased right here in America that not only works, but is Digital and not hard on the money! Well, the wait is officially OVER! ScionPro and Ogerdonz are now done testing the kit and must have passed successfully and is ready for the market. This is a FULLY digital kit on a presale price right now! Running just under $2,600 SHIPPED! until September 30th. If you need to be able to carry more weight or want a air experience, the time has come.

I got a '01 Crown Victoria Police Crusier and I want to drop the car 1.5 to 2 inches. Does anybody know anything about these? http://www.jcwhitney.com/HELLWIG-COIL-SPRING-LOWERING-KIT/GP_2005845_N_111+200728640+600003440_10101.jcw Would these things be any good?? If these are even worth looking at, would they effect the ride quality?? As you might be able to tell I don't know jack about this stuff so any help is definitely appreciated. Thanks.

for some reason my check engine light came on today while driving to work. i think there is something in my system to blame as i just installed it a couple days ago. last time it came on the negative terminal came off the battery so i put it back on and the check engine light went off. now it is back on and i looked and the negative terminal is securely connected. the engine seems to be a little sluggish now as well. what could it be?

As Of 10 Minutes Ago, We Have Dropped The Trailer With Truck On In The Front Yard, As Of Daylight, There Will Be Pics. My Dad Bought This Truck When He Was 14. It Was In Beautiful Shape Then. Buick Wildcat 430-4 Motor. (Bad MF'er) He Sold It When He Was 16. He's Regretted It Ever Since. My Dad Was Born In 1964 So You Can Figure For Yourselves How Long This Has Been. Well im thinking about lifting my truck (03 z71 avlanche) but i don't really know anything about lifting or where to get stuff to lift it. I just want it to be lifted and look good. Don't really go off roading but i probably will if i get the lift kit. Not sure what kind of lift to do (body lift, etc, etc.) Not sure where to get stuff (which sites sell quality stuff at the best prices or should i buy local) Not sure how big of a lift to get (what would you get?) Also not sure on what tires to get (just want something to look good but also like tires with deep treads, also should i buy online or local) Open to all suggestions and comments.
