This is a build for my friend Ehsan. We're replacing his current seald box, with a ported one. The new setup will be a 5 cube enclosure, sub up port back, tuned to 32Hz. Equipment will be a SoundSplinter RL-P 15" powered by a Powerbass 1000.1d, all in a Nissan Xterra. Current setup. Supplies. Getting started. Closer to being done. Thats it for today, more to come tomorrow evening.

I haven't posted in a while but I sold my orange truck and got a 2004 cadillac escalade. The plan is 2 sp4 18's on 7,000 to 10,000 watts. So far I have my aq 2200 on my btl 15. Scared and I are building a box in the next week or two.

I'm transferring this over from another forum/ Some things might be out of order. I'm getting the car for next to nothing but it needs some work. So far I have replaced both front control arms and sway bar links. I'm redoing all of the front end (P/S pump, racl etc.) The sway bar bushing look swollen, so those are going to be ordered too. I'm hearing a slight "clunk" when I throw it in to reverse which I believe is either a bushing on the rearend or the flex bushing on the drive shaft. The carrier bearing is new, so I don't think that's it. The car has 209k on it. I'm also going to be ordering new plugs. Service the trans and rearend. I have a fair amount of cosm…

Hey y'all! So I've had this little home theater project going in my mind for quite a while consisting of 4 15" DCONS and at this point I've collected the amp for the project and a pair of DCONS. At the same time, I've been trying to sell my old box I used for a pair of SA 15's on craigslist for about half a year. I decided to put two and two together and run the DCON's in my old box. I recalculated the box specifications for the DCONS. It's 7 net cubes at ~32hz. From the SSA site it seems like the DCON's like bigger ported boxes than the SA's... If i find the box unsatisfying i'll just cutout most of my baffle, leaving some edge like a picture frame, and then adding more…

its been awhile but i finally got my system pretty much done. still got sum stuff to do much nothing major. Im running 2 8" L7's dual 2ohm wired in 4ohm powered by 2 kicker zx450.2 amps in bridged mode. The box is 2.20 cu. ft with a L shaped port tuned to 34hz. These little 8's are sick. i had just the one 8" L7 and amp for awhile. Plus this is my first fiberglass project and i gotta say it turned out great. theres 9 layers inside and out (18 all together). need to prep for paint next but im not in a hurry just yet. so once i get the new sub broken in im gonna make a vid. so let me kno what you guys think.

The box is not finished yet, sorry not more pictures of the build to busy, but i still have to router the port the top and paint it, and I may even cut an inch of the box out somewhere bc it is a little to tall but we will see. Amps should be where wednesday I hope, and with them i still have to run power and ground to the back and get another battery and a new atternater but atternater will probably be the last thing i buy. Thats all for now but it's in and pounding

I have had a build log on **** for awhile and I figured I would share some info on the build here. Truck is a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 single cab with a 2/7 drop on 22" black and machined US 55's. Sub stage is 1 Atomic APXX 1078 15" on a DDM4 wire at .7, Toolmaker dual inputs. The enclosure is 5.5 cubes net sub forward custom Psychoacoustics oval aero out the side. XS d3100's under the hood, all toolmaker terminals, 8 runs of SHOK 1/0. 4+,4-. The best score to date for the truck in MECA is a 151.3 @30hz at the headrest. What is everyone's opinion on this build? I will post pics when I get home.

This is my first sub box. I've done some other carpentry stuff before but have always been too scared to try and build a sub box in fear it would sound like chit and be a total waste of effort. It's 2 cubes tuned at 41hz. I'm trying to get more spl out of my sub on 500 watts to give me an edge in the basic 1 class in my local circuit. I hit 135.5db on my current setup but that may not get er done. I could have finished much sooner if I had more clamps. I'll glue the top down tonight after I find my tie down straps and do the pseudo-in law family Easter gig. I almost forgot to add the part about my girlfriend's wisdom teeth being taken out Friday. Puffy puffy cheeks.

Had a meh RF build in this 5 or so years ago. Sold the blazer, and trying for a small trunk build. Car is a acura tsx. K24, 6 speed manual. Not fast at all, but a bit fun to drive. Id love to be able to 499 out of it. Time will tell. Cruise set... still got 30mpg on the trip. This is a build I'm doing for a friend. 2000 Jeep Cherokee 2 Sundown SA-15 Hifonics Brz-1200.1d Cadence 4awg wire kit Everything should be arriving sometime this week. 7.31ft³ @31.24hz 101.72in² port area The box ended up being bigger than I expected, I misread the torres box calculator and is .75inch taller. I still have to glue down the top baffle, but I'm going to wait to make sure the subs fit. Thats it for now until the equipment arrives.
