Here's a vid of me doing the cuts for my girlfriends sealed box for her 10" Dcon. We're doing a ported one next week and seeing which one suits her best. Both boxes built to SSA's optimal specs. Her dad owns a shop with TONS of machinery and this happens to be one.. and he's giving me access to it all whenever I want.. so I'm starting my box-making experiences with the best of the best Enjoy the vid! Here are some pics of our SPL truck at Tj's audio.. This truck brought home a 3rd place trophy from the USACI World Championship this year. We managed to hit 159.7 db @ 65hz using eight Addictive Audio V2 12's, Four Addictive Audio 200.1 amps, and 1 BatCap 8400.

It's finally time to re-do some things. Should be selling some stuff this weekend, which means I'm going to buy some plywood and build some diffrent enclosures for the mains (also put the HDS tweeters to use). Porting the ca18's should bring out a bit more mid-bass Since the Rl-i is going in the car because of space limitations and I've always wanted an 18, I'm going to replace it with an xxx. I've already started the box for it...here is where I am now : 1 inch mdf, undecided wether to flush mount it or not (baffle is going to be double). Still need a couple more braces and a magnet support after seeing how fragile is the basket, more precisely the mounting lip. ]

Hey guys i have a 95 grand cherokee an want to put 4 alpine type r 12" in it but i need to built it in 2 box so i can take it out by my self when go shoppin (family car lol) ill but running the sub with a audio pipe 3000d i dont really know a lot about frequency or hz but can u guys plz tell me if this box will work or what can i do to make it better am tryin to pose my pic but cant figer out how to do it

So i did a build in my wife's car awhile back. It's a simple build just added a 10" sub for a little added bass. So i am going to start on my wife's car with a custom enclosure in the trunk. Its a 2012 toyota corolla and i will place it in the wheel well area. This is going to be a slow and learning process as i only get an hour or so a day, if that. A few starting pics... So i thought it would be easier for me to take it out to start with the taping and prep work. Also once i get to fiber glassing I would not want it to be smelling like fiber glass in her car.

My friend just bought a barely used sundown audio zv3 12 and came to me wanting a box built for his srt-4 so he brought it by and i got all the measurements down, tuned it in at about 32 hertz hes got it on a 5000w amp with it turned halfway up and hits like crazy, keep in mind this is my first box build, also there is indeed two supports on the inside of the box. Tuned to 30Hz Ported, 2.75 cu.ft

OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

Almost done with the build in my 2008 Mazda Miata with a powered hard top. The build make the car a true one seat SQ car. I guess you could call it a theme build in that I was going with the bigger is not always better. I was trying to get the highest possible quaility out of the smallest footprint of product possible. I have had a build log on **** for awhile and I figured I would share some info on the build here. Truck is a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 single cab with a 2/7 drop on 22" black and machined US 55's. Sub stage is 1 Atomic APXX 1078 15" on a DDM4 wire at .7, Toolmaker dual inputs. The enclosure is 5.5 cubes net sub forward custom Psychoacoustics oval aero out the side. XS d3100's under the hood, all toolmaker terminals, 8 runs of SHOK 1/0. 4+,4-. The best score to date for the truck in MECA is a 151.3 @30hz at the headrest. What is everyone's opinion on this build? I will post pics when I get home.

Should be going in a 1997 Cadillac Seville These seem to be great and heavy subs, The smaller sub is my old pioneer that is also "1000 watts RMS" .I used it to show how big the Z15 is. Can't wait till my 2200.1 comes in!!!! Also, how does 6 cubes @ 32 hz sound? Anyone know how much port area I need for this?

i have a '96 toyota t100 and was going to put two 12's in it but have no idea where i should put it. The back seat has no space under and i was wondering if it is at all possible to drop the bottom out just to where i could fit my speakers or if i just just put them under the driver and passenger seat.

its been awhile but i finally got my system pretty much done. still got sum stuff to do much nothing major. Im running 2 8" L7's dual 2ohm wired in 4ohm powered by 2 kicker zx450.2 amps in bridged mode. The box is 2.20 cu. ft with a L shaped port tuned to 34hz. These little 8's are sick. i had just the one 8" L7 and amp for awhile. Plus this is my first fiberglass project and i gotta say it turned out great. theres 9 layers inside and out (18 all together). need to prep for paint next but im not in a hurry just yet. so once i get the new sub broken in im gonna make a vid. so let me kno what you guys think.
