hey guys, i thought i had already started a build log for my new truck but i guess not. so here it is, i have a '02 f150 lariat ext cab truck. HU: sony xplode (the nice one haha) speakers: stock for now :/ Subs: SSA zcon 15 Amp: audioque 3500.1 Wiring: all 0 gauge with the big 3 done (all done today 1/2/12) Alt: stock 130amp at the moment but will have a new one around end of January PICTURES: Todays work (1/2/12)

Here's a vid of me doing the cuts for my girlfriends sealed box for her 10" Dcon. We're doing a ported one next week and seeing which one suits her best. Both boxes built to SSA's optimal specs. Her dad owns a shop with TONS of machinery and this happens to be one.. and he's giving me access to it all whenever I want.. so I'm starting my box-making experiences with the best of the best Enjoy the vid! i got these jl 8w7's in a trade so i figued id try them out, i deisgned up a t-line box. and threw it together and im going to dropp the box in the neon to play around with till it snows and i cant drive it no more. here are some pics of the box, will grab pics of the car and the rest later on. enjoy

Beh so I said time to upgrade finally from 2 15 to 4 15. Install is in a nissan pathfinder 1995. The stuff going in is: 4 dc audio level 4 2 sundown 3000( gonna run 1 for now) sundown 100.2 3 Kinetik 2,400 200 amp alt probably 4 runs of 1/0 wire bye bye old system

Last system consisted of a sundown audio 3k on 2 re Sex 10's and a sundown 125.2 on the factory door speakers. Plan is to get a sundown 50.4, alpine H701(to be run with an alpine w200) and some hertz 3 way components. Going from 10's to 12's and a forward firing box sealed off. Here is a video of the previous system Box was tuned to 30hz. Well here is the tear down and rebuild process Bye Bye Blew 1 10 last week and put a cover over the hole so I could still have some tunes for the time being.

Nevermind, found it Stealth FTMFW! It's not going to win any best install awards anytime soon....but I was pretty happy with myself for finding that little cubby area to hide it in And yes....everything is dirty and I need to clean. So i did a build in my wife's car awhile back. It's a simple build just added a 10" sub for a little added bass. So i am going to start on my wife's car with a custom enclosure in the trunk. Its a 2012 toyota corolla and i will place it in the wheel well area. This is going to be a slow and learning process as i only get an hour or so a day, if that. A few starting pics... So i thought it would be easier for me to take it out to start with the taping and prep work. Also once i get to fiber glassing I would not want it to be smelling like fiber glass in her car.

Not much of a log but I took some pictures along the way. I will say this sounds great and the low end really surprised me a single 8" setup. Here are some pics of our SPL truck at Tj's audio.. This truck brought home a 3rd place trophy from the USACI World Championship this year. We managed to hit 159.7 db @ 65hz using eight Addictive Audio V2 12's, Four Addictive Audio 200.1 amps, and 1 BatCap 8400.

This will be my first car audio system. Fi Q 12, 2.25ft^3 ported to 32hz. All I have right now is my sub. Box is currently being built by TRP and a DD M2b amp is on the way. OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

Should be going in a 1997 Cadillac Seville These seem to be great and heavy subs, The smaller sub is my old pioneer that is also "1000 watts RMS" .I used it to show how big the Z15 is. Almost done with the build in my 2008 Mazda Miata with a powered hard top. The build make the car a true one seat SQ car. I guess you could call it a theme build in that I was going with the bigger is not always better. I was trying to get the highest possible quaility out of the smallest footprint of product possible. $650 Ballin On A Budget Build. Had to add $50 for the two sheets of cabinet ply I'ma pick up at HD hopefully this weekend. Everything else was traded straight up for what I already had. new stuff: HU: nakamichi cd-400 boston pro60's up front jbl gto936's in back 12" 05 xxx probably kicker amps. putting all the h/k stuff on ebay as a package, except the harnesses becuase its too hard to remove it without messing something up lol (cd changer, hu, h/k amp, speakers, aux input) made the rings for the 6.5s. i traced the factory outer part of the baffle and cut that out, then cut out the middle hole for my boston pro60 mids to fit in. im gonna have to figure out how to make the tweets fit in. the rings: bought this panasonic cq-c7413u HU, its decent, i hooked it up and drove over a brick road going 50+, and it only skipped once or twice. but i dont like how…

My friend just bought a barely used sundown audio zv3 12 and came to me wanting a box built for his srt-4 so he brought it by and i got all the measurements down, tuned it in at about 32 hertz hes got it on a 5000w amp with it turned halfway up and hits like crazy, keep in mind this is my first box build, also there is indeed two supports on the inside of the box. I have had a build log on **** for awhile and I figured I would share some info on the build here. Truck is a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 single cab with a 2/7 drop on 22" black and machined US 55's. Sub stage is 1 Atomic APXX 1078 15" on a DDM4 wire at .7, Toolmaker dual inputs. The enclosure is 5.5 cubes net sub forward custom Psychoacoustics oval aero out the side. XS d3100's under the hood, all toolmaker terminals, 8 runs of SHOK 1/0. 4+,4-. The best score to date for the truck in MECA is a 151.3 @30hz at the headrest. What is everyone's opinion on this build? I will post pics when I get home.
