Alright well, this is my second real system. My first one was a package deal with sony xplods!!!!! hah anyways, they sounded good for the price but after a LONG time of thinking, and I'm talking very long, I decided on the BTL. I have most of the stuff for the install, but this will be a pretty long one due to school, and my resources. I have an 02 explorer xlt. Here is a pic of it: I already have the remote wire, and the RCA's installed on the stock head unit (upgrading that later when I get more $$), and a 200 amp alternator. Heres what has to go in: (2 batterys) (third battery, can't decide if I want to put all 3, just the other two, or just this one?) I'll …

  11. Hey guys ~ Haven't posted on here in a little while and figured i'd show you all what I'v been up to. Business has been good and I was fortunate enough to be able to construct this enclosure designed by the owner(s) of Phantom Soundz! This was going under the seat of a 2001 sierra cab, with the subs downfiring. Lot's of work went into this Let me know what you think! Shoot me any PM's if any of you are interested in getting something built! Enjoy! Dustin

I would not call this a true build log as most of the work is already completed, but of course I am proud of the work I have done to the vehicle. I invite you all to take a look at my gallery in the Sentra Stereo album. Any and all feedback is welcome. This is my first build of an entire car on my own. Of course we are never truely finished with stereos now are we? haha. Things I do plan on adding down the road is a new XS power battery and an H.O. alt for the system and I will be done as far as the electrical goes. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and if there are any comments, suggestions, or any tips/tricks feel free to enlighten me of course. 2004 Nissan Sentra Bu…

This is a build for the 8" Bravox PXW subwoofer. The enclosure is 0.7cuft @ 30Hz after displacement. Power is 240watt plate amp. Finished!! What you guys think? I'm running it off a 240w plate amp and IT SOUNDS AMAZING. So clean and smooth. Fills my whole room and even rattles the walls. Did not expect this build to have such a good turn out. After displacement it is .7cuft tuned to 30Hz.

  25. My little brother is putting a system together for this years competition season. He will be competing in USACI's street beat. Its a 2003 (I believe) Hyundai Accent. He is using a real basic pioneer deck for now with an update in the future. Two runs of 0 gauge running back to a single US-AMPS 6000 pushing a single Hyfonics Goliath 15. Here are a few pics of the progress so far. We are a little behind because of orders not coming in, but it should be done in a week or so. I used the RFL for comparison only, its the first sub to come close to its size but still just a little bigger. We are finishing the trunk in black suede and the amp will "float" behind the …
