Here are some pics of our SPL truck at Tj's audio.. This truck brought home a 3rd place trophy from the USACI World Championship this year. We managed to hit 159.7 db @ 65hz using eight Addictive Audio V2 12's, Four Addictive Audio 200.1 amps, and 1 BatCap 8400.

  5. well, havent started the install, still waiting on the battery terminals, some ring terminals, d block, comps, some speaker wire, and of course gotta find an install sleeve and trim ring the douchebag didnt send me with the HU, got some lined p just waiting to see if the guy ever gets back to me. but heres some pics. I am also probably going to wait til I get some CLD tiles for the doors to install the comps, and the box is going to be somewhere around 3-3.5 cubes at 32-35. still gotta make a decision on that. but heres some pics of what Ive gotten so far. the odd sub is just a RF S212S4 to compare the size of it.

Did this for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. He is using some old JL audio 10's, I'm working on him to get some q's. I don't remember what amp he was using, some ~600 watt amp. I don't have a final pick of it in the truck but it fit like a GLOVE. BTL 18 vs. one of his subs Box was ~ 3 ft^3 tuned ~35. I threw in the 4" aero for free

Did this for a friend a couple of days ago. He got ripped off on just about everything buying from pawn shops. 2 kicker comps Forgot what type of lanzar amp Using stock head unit with LO converter Prefab box, was in a hurry and didn't want to wait the few hours it would take for me to build a box. This was the mach up, amp was mounted and wiring was organized. It accomplished all he wanted, which was to have some "decent high bass". But they surprised me at how low they got.

As you read in the title and description I'm getting a Fi Car audio BL 15 and just need suggestions on what options I should get and dimensions on a box that I should build. I've got a 1994 extended cab F-150 and in the back have appx. 18x24 for the base of the box and wanted to know how tall I should make the box and how big I should make the port to tune it to 32 Hz.

I started this today before I tried to change my window motor assembly and realized it was a dud. Crap. Try that again next week I guess. First time ever applying sound deadener and I should have ordered the wheel with the damplifier lite. Will be buying it soon with more damplifier for my geo as it was a bitch by hand. Took a little while but got part of the inside panel done. It will be a slow project and the other door will be done with the other window motor. Not broken but getting slower these days. Will update periodically. http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/vv302/bigrank916/MLI-65%20project/

Been working up some ideas and have decided to persue the latest idea. Attempting to be LOUD and PIMP looking but is quite the challenge to both. This one is more focused towards looking nice but should through up some descent numbers too. It isn't an SPL focused setup but surely at some point in time this year I will have something more towards SPL... just depends on how this one sounds. I am anxious to build something so here it begins. Here is my dirty VUE Under the hood Cargo Area The Amps! Slot cutting with guide board held down by Josh... so much faster than clamping/moving lol. Thanks Josh! Testing flexibility More flexibility testing Gravity at work

Well did a search and couldn't find many or any scion xb's. So I'm glad to be able to throw mine in here. Although I do see some tc's. Anyways this one probably wont be as in depth as most, just gonna do some simple audio mods. Will start building this week on a amp compartment/ false floor and sub box arrangement.

I wanted to go ahead and create the thread because you gonna need to finalize your decision(s) very soon as i am onto you now. As far as i know, u want 2 12" BTLS off of a 3500d.... If this is true, it will be fired forward. I'll be rootin through my PMs again to find your dimensions so i can start your build. If you need an entire design done in your trunk, give me ALL dimensions so i can model battery and amp(s) mounting too if u need it, otherwise, i'll just design your box. Let me know what you want it tuned too.. otherwise, i'll tune it to 32hz for daily and interchangeable for competition.

  16. Thought I would share the install my new friend John at Hand crafted Car Audio of Chandler AZ did for me a couple weeks ago. I met John through a Second Skin sales rep named Bob Morrow. Some of you guys already know of Bobs Tacoma which has been reviewed in this DIYMA thread: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/member-product-reviews/60325-bob-morrows-h-t-tacoma.html So Bob introduced me to John, one of the customers he calls on. John is a true DIY guy turned professional. He works out of the garage in his home in east Chandler AZ and within the first minute of walking in, I knew I was in the right place. The tools he has and the cleanliness alone were enough to make mos…

Going in a 2003 Ford Explorer, this build will be crazy. As of right now, rmzsuzuki89 may not be on much so hopefully he sees this so i can continue with his build. I need some more dimensions.. i'm running out of room, The current box i have designed is 48" wide x 45" high x 33" deep. Then the box rises 5" from their and goes back another 20" maintaining 48" wide x 40" high. So first question, can this design fit? 2nd, can i go deeper and if so how much before it hurts...... Your remaining space

Specs - 22" tall 44" wide 22" deep Double baffled Subs and port facing rear. Make sure you install the box so when looking into your trunk, the port is on the right just how it is in the pic below. Port area - 20.5" x 5" = 102.5" Tuned to 33Hz @ 8.0 cubic ft NET after minor bracing shown below. Port is attached to back of second baffle. The port wall depth is 14.75" This allows a 5" wide opening from the end of the wall to the back wall of the box. This is important as you must keep the opening 5" wide. The bracing can be all thread(not the vertical runs obviously), or wooden dowels. Diameter really isn't too important, anywhere between 1-2" is fine. The bracing sh…

I'm building up a "foundation" for a future bass race setup in my Jeep. Right now, it's just for two 15's but I would like to get some heavy duty 18's in the future once I add more power to the mix.... The rear chamber is 9 cubes tuned to 33 hz and the front chamber is big with a big port The port and subs from the rear chamber will be facing right in front of the loading wall. For anybody that asks why I used particle board....Lowe's was out of MDF, plus it was cheaper. Not a big deal to be honest. We'll start off with what was in my Jeep before: Start of the tear out...

I drive an 06 infiniti g35 coupe and I want to attempt my first wall with 2 fi btl 18's. The deminsions to work with are approx. 44 L, 25 H, 26 D. I dont have any experience with buliding walls so I wanted some opinions on if that would be enough space for the subs and I have to build it inside the car so is glue and fiberglass resin strong enough to hold it together?. I usually see walls that are 14 cu feet after sub and port displacement, mine will maybe come out 12.
