Well my 2000 chevy cavalier started life as an ordinary black coupe. Until one day I decided to build it into a bad a** ground pounder. Enough with the weak narrative and onto the pics. Thats the victim. heres the inner box. here is some of the baffle taking shape. exciting huh? sorry about all the pics without narration, I was on a build more talk less type of trip.

well i finallllyyyy get my mustang back in a few days from doing the T5 transmission swap. i have been slowly but surely getting a system together for it. This system is not meant to get loud and rattle everything apart. i listen to country and rock MOSTLY when i drive. but i rarley listen to the music because i LOVE listening to the sound of the V8 under the hood and duel exhaust anyways, here is what i have so far.... 2 12" kicker CVR's 1 kicker ZR240 (oldschool made in U.S.A amp ) and pioneer speakers all around. now my question is should i get a sealed box for the 12's, or ported? eventually (when the money is there) im switching to either 1 RE audio 12, 1 Fi audio…

I picked this truck up from my friend a few months ago, I was just going to make it a project truck but the transmission went out on my Dodge so I am going to drive it for a few weeks. It's a bagged 1997 GMC C-1500. It has a massive amount of motor mods, and my favorite part, a 240 amp alternator. :-) My computer has broken so I can't get on much but I will add photo's soon as I can. Idle voltage

A few pics of my latest project. CLD CCF and MLV on all 4 doors. WAY more time consuming than I anticipated but I am pleased with the results. With Don's help it was really straight forward and not too complicated just super time consuming to get the fit just right with as much coverage as possible. Worth every hour.

I have already started work on this, but finally got my sub & amp today! I can't thank Scott from FI & Corey from Sundown enough for working through all the shipping hassles we had during the holidays. So this build has a lot of work still to be done to it, but here is where I am at: The sub in the crate Finally!! Loving the blank inverted Thanks again Scott! In it's new home at last The magus! The whole system, except 880prs, cdt mids and peerless tweeters The duo that I hope will fulfill my low end love I should have more pictures tomorrow as I am working on the car all day. Not just stereo, need an oil change and some other minor tunings also. than…

  18. Thought I would share the install my new friend John at Hand crafted Car Audio of Chandler AZ did for me a couple weeks ago. I met John through a Second Skin sales rep named Bob Morrow. Some of you guys already know of Bobs Tacoma which has been reviewed in this DIYMA thread: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/member-product-reviews/60325-bob-morrows-h-t-tacoma.html So Bob introduced me to John, one of the customers he calls on. John is a true DIY guy turned professional. He works out of the garage in his home in east Chandler AZ and within the first minute of walking in, I knew I was in the right place. The tools he has and the cleanliness alone were enough to make mos…

  19. Well, i had subs up, port back in 2 different boxes, then walled and now got design done by robin for 4th order bandpass for 2 bl 18's. Took couple pics when building, will take some pics of all in truck tomorrow. Still got to put other front on, make trim panels and repaint inside of box. But i can do all that while its in the truck. I am using matt and fiberglass on all seams inside, has 1" rods inside, and adding all thread from side to side for extra bracing. Hopefully will be finished by tuesday. Still got lot left to do, but had to put in truck while i had the extra help to move it. So far, just from playing around a little it sounds alot louder, has a total di…

New box I built for my truck. It fits a whole lot better. I'm still waiting for my new port to come in but heres a picture with an old port. I'm not sure how I should finish the box. I wanted to paint it the color of my truck which is ford's orange/red rust color but I can't find anything close to it in stores. I'm hoping you guys can give me some new suggestions on how I should finish it. Once the port comes in I'll take pictures of it in my truck and let you know how it sounds.

Hi guys. Want to share with you some pictures of my car. This is my 2007 Mazda CX-7 that I'm building to compete in USACi SQ shows in Mexico and the USA. I'm part of Team Hybrids, the competition branch of Hybrid Audio Technologies founded by Scott Buwalda that sells some of the best speakers in the world. This is my CX-7. The Head Unit is an Alpine W205. The music travels to the back via a fiber optic cable and also via Ai-Net cable, where it's processed in an Alpine H701, and sent to five JL Audio amplifiers hidden under a false floor. Power distro blocks. The front stage is handled by a HAT Legatia L831-3 set. The L8's are on the doors, the L3's on the kick pa…
