Car: 96 Honda Accord 2 door Subs: two 10" SSD subs bp options and copper coils Amp: IA20.1 Rear battery: Deka 9a31 Box: 3 cubes net daily tuned to 34.3hz / competition tuned to 44.66hz The front baffle will be facing the back seats and the port will be facing the driver side.

Did this for a friend a couple of days ago. He got ripped off on just about everything buying from pawn shops. 2 kicker comps Forgot what type of lanzar amp Using stock head unit with LO converter Prefab box, was in a hurry and didn't want to wait the few hours it would take for me to build a box. This was the mach up, amp was mounted and wiring was organized. It accomplished all he wanted, which was to have some "decent high bass". But they surprised me at how low they got.

Did this for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. He is using some old JL audio 10's, I'm working on him to get some q's. I don't remember what amp he was using, some ~600 watt amp. I don't have a final pick of it in the truck but it fit like a GLOVE. BTL 18 vs. one of his subs Box was ~ 3 ft^3 tuned ~35. I threw in the 4" aero for free

As you read in the title and description I'm getting a Fi Car audio BL 15 and just need suggestions on what options I should get and dimensions on a box that I should build. I've got a 1994 extended cab F-150 and in the back have appx. 18x24 for the base of the box and wanted to know how tall I should make the box and how big I should make the port to tune it to 32 Hz.

Going in a 2003 Ford Explorer, this build will be crazy. As of right now, rmzsuzuki89 may not be on much so hopefully he sees this so i can continue with his build. I need some more dimensions.. i'm running out of room, The current box i have designed is 48" wide x 45" high x 33" deep. Then the box rises 5" from their and goes back another 20" maintaining 48" wide x 40" high. So first question, can this design fit? 2nd, can i go deeper and if so how much before it hurts...... Specs - 22" tall 44" wide 22" deep Double baffled Subs and port facing rear. Make sure you install the box so when looking into your trunk, the port is on the right just how it is in the pic below. Port area - 20.5" x 5" = 102.5" Tuned to 33Hz @ 8.0 cubic ft NET after minor bracing shown below. Port is attached to back of second baffle. The port wall depth is 14.75" This allows a 5" wide opening from the end of the wall to the back wall of the box. This is important as you must keep the opening 5" wide. The bracing can be all thread(not the vertical runs obviously), or wooden dowels. Diameter really isn't too important, anywhere between 1-2" is fine. The bracing sh…

I drive an 06 infiniti g35 coupe and I want to attempt my first wall with 2 fi btl 18's. The deminsions to work with are approx. 44 L, 25 H, 26 D. I dont have any experience with buliding walls so I wanted some opinions on if that would be enough space for the subs and I have to build it inside the car so is glue and fiberglass resin strong enough to hold it together?. I usually see walls that are 14 cu feet after sub and port displacement, mine will maybe come out 12.

ok so the other night i took out the old box that was 10cubes at 28hz so that i could build a new box and seal off the trunk.... im goin to start this tomorrow night with sealing off the trunk cause i am sure that was a main reason for it not being loud, then im goin to build a new box with a little more port area and finish it all off with a beauty panal to mold the box in the back seat cause its no a full wall it more like a half wall...other than that ill being installin a set of alpine type x 6.5's in the front door replacing the crappy sony xplode ones.... the equipment thet will bu used is HU-alpine 9885 alpine types x 6.5's sony xplode 6x9's probably some kicker 1…

I received a phone call last night at work from a friend who I have not seen in several months. He moved for our company to start up a new facility. He has done may wild builds in the past some of which I ask him to post. He recently started an account here and ask me to start his build log. So far he has purchased: 8 Kicker cvr 15"s 2 Hifonics XXV Colossus amps Audio Control Epic-160 4 sets of Kicker ds650.2 Deka batteries (not sure of size) He is going to putting this in a Ford minivan and is currently planning on going with a sealed sub enclosure. I recently did a Cadillac Escalade ESV for a buddy of mine with (2) Fi BL 18's with the flatwound coil and cooling option. Built the box to 14.63 cubic feet with the port tuned to 33 hertz. Wrapped it in vinyl to match the interior of the vehicle and did a big "Fi" logo on the back of the box (notice the logo is an "innie", not an "outie".The amp, for now, is a Hifonics BXI2010D that puts out 1752 watts RMS. I will be swapped with a Rockford Fosgate T40001bd eventually. Built to be a daily driver. Here it is: Sounds great. No pics yet, but just thought I would start a thread Bought a 1992 Astro and will start a new build soon. Ripped everything out of the suburban yesterday (13 hours of fun). . .picking up my new silverado crew cab today The suburban has made 8 yrs so I am finally going to get something new. Right now, the plan is (6) Mayhem 15's and (6) 40.1's. I am lucky I managed to get two more 40.1's over the past couple of weeks. Going to squeeze all the mids and tweets I can get in the doors and where ever else I can find. Pictures will follow soon. . . Brian

Got my stuff from Sundown yesterday! Heres the start of a lot of work to be done and a lot of money to be spent over time. The Second Skin is on the way, keep checking back! 2x SA 12's 4DVC 1x Sundown 1500 Big 3 I am not a professional box builder so don't pick on me. It turned out pretty good.
