Here's the build log for the volvo so far already have the box built and the subs thumping thanks to "SirLancelot" Running two 12inch fully loaded Fi BL'S! Box is tuned in the 32half hz mark. about 4.4cubic feet all togther after displacement and some bracing(2.2cubic per sub). The subs are running off a Pa 4000w bamf at this moment but not giving the kick i need so i upgraded to the AQ 2200. All wondering how your going to power that beast, already installed a alt Bosch high output 100amp alt(Dont laugh at the 100ampns of it way beefier then you think). Well many of you know of Hanks old van....well my buddy/teammate bought that van ......so time to do some work! Starting with the doors and back hatch......11 mids in each door (Crescendo Pro Audio) and much more ....so we got a few teammates over and did some cookin! literally.......this is a mostly video build log....but here is a few random pics....pt.1 vid processing now!

I don't have a lot of pics but I will tell ya this......The DP21 is one sweet sub. Looks unbelievable and sounds ever better. A lot more accurate on fast bass then you will ever expect and simply kills on rap and all low end bass. If you got the money, power and room, GET THIS SUB! That is a Hyfonics Golitath 15, MA Audio 12, and old school MTX Roadthunder 12 surrounding the DP21 Just a few measurements One 7.5 cubic foot box tuned to about 32hz for one full size Ford extended cab truck Power for the beast. First and foremost thanks a million to Nem who set me up with an awesome Zed Lev and answered all of my questions I had. I finally got a finished build that I'm pretty happy with. Maybe a few more things to do down the road but that's to be seen. Sorry for the large pictures. My work is pretty shoddy, especially with that ensolite foam but it works well.Everything sounds great, this is my first build that I dont have a massive amount of space to work with. I'm going to be doing a box for 6 1508's and I have 6 4" aero ports lying around. I was wondering if a box at 6.5cubes (after discplacment) with 6 4" aero ports would be to much?

i recently bought the ssa icon 18'' and and ive been through all kind of boxes with my charger and seems like it is nothing but a bass sponge back there. so i was wondering about this in my new build, i plan on sealing the box off from the trunk in maybe a 5 or 6cuft sealed box, ive tried ported but im just not getting the results i want, which previously it sounded better sealed. so basiclly all im asking is do u think a sealed box for this 18'' will sound good sealed of from the trunk? any help is appreciated.

Today i cleaned out my trunk and started building the enclosure. I put together the bottom, back and two sides today. I sealed up all the sides with silicon, and im not going to touch the enclosure for about 4 days due to school. In this picture i have sealed up all the sides. In the background is my old sub box my fi bl. This pic shows my port and the enclosure half way done. BOy this is going to look good when i carpet it. I put the enclosure in my trunk before i sealed up the sides, and let me tell you it barely fit. It takes up the whole entire trunk. I sat in the box lol and i fit in it hahah. Well there are many more pics to come.

Hi all. I started this build over Christmas break for one of my roommates. The box is 4.8^3 ft after all displacement and tuned to 23Hz. I picked up a Stereo Integrity Mag D2 15" subwoofer off of here from a member. The amp is a 500w O Audio plate amplifer. Brand new F-250 Super Duty King Ranch trim. I'm currently installing: Focal K2P in the front doors Focal Access 165A1s in the rear doors. I'm not so sure about the layout on the previous years, but the 2008 super duty has a 5x7 in the C pillar, and a tweeter in the rear door panel. So we are putting a enclosure in one of the storage pockets in the rear door panel to hold the access woofer, and fitting the tweeter in the stock location and eliminating the factory 5x7 in the pillar. Having Alpines since my first system, I wanted to try something new. I went with Hybrid Audio Technologies Clarus line opting with the 6 1/2" over the 5 1/4" after reading the review Car Audio Mag gave the 5 1/4". These drivers were a lot deeper then the type-r's I replaced them with. Here's the comparison in size. After adding another layer of deadener on top of my pre-existing Damplifier Pro I was ready to go. The install required the mid hole in the door to be cut a little larger to satisfy these beasts. Using the speaker ring as a template I made my marks and used a jigsaw to cut it. Using the template once again I made my baffles out of 3/4" mdf. I originally used …

I hate to do a build log before I am completely done, but it looks like I won't get much else done between now and when I leave for Korea, and when I get back, I will probably upgrade, so the build will start over at that point. Starts off as a stock Jetta with an upgraded head unit. Not the best of head units, but it does what I need for now. It is a Kenwood DDX-418. The GLI model comes with from the factory with a Monsoon audio system. This consists of a factory 8 Channel amp running a tweeter and woofer in each door. well i was ofF work today and was able to finally get around to putting them both in. i have them running at 1 ohm to my AQ3500.1 sounds AMAZING and LOUDD. my buddy has given me a good payment on them so they are going to be his in a month or so. i took a few pics as i was installing to show whats going on... yes it is VERY hillbilly rigged in but it works for the time being..... Ok, so it's not exactly a build log (and not sure if this is the right place) because I just don't get around to taking pictures when I'm working, but I thought I'd at least post a couple pictures and a list of what I have, as well as a brief review of the products I used. So what we have here is a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD. Yeah, it's got a Hemi. It's pretty loaded with nav and heated seats and some other goodies. With the navigation system comes a Boston 6 speaker system, which honestly is not too bad, decent midbass/midrange, bass isn't bad, highs are a little weak. I kept the factory head unit in place. New box, 2.2 cubic ft per sub, 25 + sq in of port per cube

I was goin to go with 2 18" or 2 15" nightshades. But I decided 6 sa 10s would be better.. but idk if i have the room.. i measured my cargo area in my cargo area in my 00 jeep GC. length= close to 52". Width= close to 29". height= i measured 17" but i could go a few inches higher. any sugg from yall?!
