http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=27964439 Well this is the quick install I did in my buddies Yukon... only spent about 4-5 hours--including time to build the box... the dancing can is 3/4 full... we noticed it spinning while we were adjusting so I shot a video of it.... don't mind the distortion.. it doesn't sound like that... my cheap digital camera can't handle the pressure.

Did this for a friend a couple of days ago. He got ripped off on just about everything buying from pawn shops. 2 kicker comps Forgot what type of lanzar amp Using stock head unit with LO converter Prefab box, was in a hurry and didn't want to wait the few hours it would take for me to build a box. This was the mach up, amp was mounted and wiring was organized. It accomplished all he wanted, which was to have some "decent high bass". But they surprised me at how low they got.

hey guys, i purchased a bl 15 a while ago and now im starting to measure my trunk to see how big of box i can fit. i made an exact replica out of cardboard a box thats was a little bigger than 4 cubic feet and 17 inches high. when i tried to put it in my trunk (corolla 98 is the car) the box was rubbing a tiny little bit height wise while it was about 75% in. i was wondering if its possible to make the box 16.5 inches high instead of 17 without sacrificing speaker output. sorry it's a bit complicated to explain!

He just wants loud and clear(minimal break-up), without a major emphasis on FR. There will be 12 of these... ...in this! Power for subs will be ~4k. Front stage is yet to be nailed down.

So, I ordered two 15 inch sundown audio x-15 d4's I'll be running at 1ohm I have been looking for box plans so I don't have to do all the math myself! I would really like the subs facing up and ported! I have a ton of room to work with. 36" deep x 47" wide x 21" high. of course it can be smaller if possible. I have found a box I really like but the website that has it wants $50 for the plans. I really don't want to spend $50 on a PDF files with measurements and then still have to buy the MDF, glue, screws etc and then build it. So if anyone could offer some help here on building a box maybe a website or just toss me some plans that would be great This would…

figured i'm sitting outside the court house wasting time waiting for someone so i might as well type something up here. Current set up is an alpine cda9807 hu. Front door speakers are cdt cox622. The rest of everything now is still bose stock with an arc 4150 xxk already bought for powering the front doors and the kappa 692.9i.'s i've already bought as well for replacing the rear 6x9's. I'm keeping the rear deck 3's and front pillar tweets stock and keeping them powered by the bose amp. Sub change is in progress but i'm leaning to an fi q or sundown z15. Currently have a re se-xxx 12 powered by an audiopipe ap1500. Already bought amp replacement for the ap and have an ar…

Hey guys Im in need of some advice. I'm currently piecing together a setup which will be in a Trailblazer SS. So far I have my two BL 15s fully loaded (newer versions), JL 0/1 awg, and will be powered by a Crescendo BC3500d. I plan on buying a mechman 240 alt, xs power 3400 for under the hood and 3100 for out back. I'll probably have car tunes build my since they did a great job last time. I'm aware I should be running dual 0/1 for the batteries so I will but what else am I missing or should also do? Currently have 12 awg for the subs, should I go bigger? Also will my battery setup work fine at idle without crazy voltage drop? What about dual amp inputs? Any help and advi…

This is the initial start to what i like to think will be an amazing set up and time. Between the components I've chosen, too the input needed from the lovely forum members here at SSA. I believe we will make this a real beauty!!! -So let's start off with what's been ordered thus far (2) Incriminator Audio Death Row 15's(2013 model) 1500 rms/Dual 1 ohms(1) Soundqubed Q1-2200D to be ran at 1ohm/0AWG Now for the components still to be added to this final build. I mean when i say done properly, I want the enclosure just right down to the detail, the right amount of power with flow of current/amp hours to take the beating and all around electrically correct for a build, and S…

As the title says, i have a 1986 F150 Regular cab. With this modle truck their really isn't really any room behind the bench seat to put a sub with out being on top of the steering wheel, and not cutting a hole in the back of my cab. This is about my 5Th box I have built for my truck. Ok no more talking, on to the build Head Unit: Alpine 9885 ($60 at best buy, on clearence brand new) Subwoofer: 12" shallow mount Pioneer FTW 3.25" mounting depth Amplifier: 1400W hitron bridged at 4 ohms (getting replaced with a sundown 1000d soon) And the truck that all of this is going into Been in the family since brand new, with 131,xxx miles on it, still runs and drive…

custom 1997 pontiac firebird sub box and amp rack. i decided to build my box and post pics. the amp rack is also made by me. i work at lowes in the lumber dept. so i picked up our oak birch plywood for $5 for a 4x8 sheet in good condition. just was cut into 2x4 pieces and the customer decided not to buy. i have to say the install came out perfect, and it looks great in person. as if a real professional built it. im 19. and me and my dad made this in about 6-7 hours. i wrapped the boxes myself and he helped me put them together. not bad for only my 5th box build. i have to give credit to the person that created the design of the sub box that i made. it helped me alot. he p…

I am starting my first wall build and need a little bit of guidence. The truck is a 1986 GMC S15 ext cab (2wd) The equpiment I'm using is 15" Alpine Type R The amp I'm getting is a two AQ 2200d I'm going to have the drivers wired to 1 ohm. What I really need help with is the building part of the project. I've never seen a wall in person or built one. I seen pictures online and have the grasp of it. So.. if a box builder could help me with the blueprints on my project I can get started. The kinda wall I want is a competition wall, so I was told.. It seems to be a sheet of wood from floor to celing with the port on the driver side.
