Hoping someone like Scott @ Fi or some of the other manufacturers/designers on this forum will chime in here. When designing a driver how are small signal parameters and large signal peformance considered or correlated throughout the design and testing phase of the product? For example; Are the target (small signal) T/S parameters and design analyized via computer program and then large signal performance tested simply by "playing" with and testing the physical driver? Or are the large and small signal performance predicted via computer and then the physical driver tested? Do you have any sort of target large parameter shift when designing a driver compared to the sma…

Okay, now everything has a resonant frequency. At this point, the most energy will be on the object correct? If this is the case, wouldn't it be wise to find the resonant freqency of a particular meter in your intended application and mounting location, measure it, and then design for your peak to be at that point? Wouldn't that produce the highest reading? I'm sure this has been thought of, but I'd like some input. Sean, Neil. . .

I need some help with the best way to hook up my subs. Right now I have one of my Punch P2D210 sub hooked to the B side and the + to the + and - to - like the manual said to do. Would I be better hooking the Sub1+ to the A+ and Sub1- to the B- ? With two subs Punch (P2D210 x 2) am I better off hooking Sub1 + to A+ and Sub1 - to A- / Sub2 + to B+ and Sub2 - to B- OR Amp A+ to Sub1 + / Sub1 - to Sub2 + / Sub2 - to Amp B- ? OR if none of these are are the best way then just let me know the best way. Thanks for the help. Picture of current single sub ( + and - are on B posts)
