here is how i have everything set up as u can see i dont have the amp and cap ground to the chasis could this be why i might have a ground loop i could make them all seperate grounds or i can tell him to buy a ground loop isolator and he only has 1 amp hes just running component speakers but hes also running one of these behringer 15s http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-B215XL-Titanium-Speaker-Standard/dp/B002P3RYXG that is hooked up to this for power i have that thing hooked up to the battery and them rcas go from the headunit to the amp to the behringer its sounds good except we are getting the noise

Ok guys i might be opening a can of worms here but i dont understand why people do this to set their gain and think its right. to me, it doesnt make sense and i will explain why. a lot of times i see this chart here and people say set it for xxx voltage and you are set. ignore step 4 since without having a load on the amp is kinda pointless. if that chart is right, then i am putting 1300 watts to my sub, but with a clamp, DMM, and thanks to ohms law, i found out i am putting ~800 to my sub. i am not saying that chart is mathematically wrong, just cant be used the way its intended. so whats the deal? i dont understand why you would use that chart (or any formula equivale…

Here you go... There's still an amp missing, the matching 225 for the right side. I may be switching out the 2100 for a 250 for awhile. I'm trying to get ahold of another 2100 so I can run two to the sub, one on each coil. As it is right now it blends really well with the front stage for rock and so forth but there just isn't enough for hardcore bass music and I don't want to risk the 2100 by running it @ 1 ohm. Hey all.Im going to be buying a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant and im needing to get a HO alt.Ive been searching the internet for over an hour now and all I found was a 180amp alt,but im wanting a bit more output than that.So I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could get a 200+ amp HO alt for the car.The engine is a 2.4L 4 cylinder.Thanks

I've narrowed my choice down to these choices. Mechman 270 DC Power 270 XP I was wondering if the extra 35-40 amps at idle is worth the extra $150. I'm only running one AQ2200D, and I don't have an endless pile of money. I'm almost certain what the responses will be, so I think I'm leaning towards the Mechman. Let me know!

Lately I have been having some problems with my alt for some reason. Two days ago on Friday it was working fine and steadily charging around 14.4 while I was driving. Yesterday out of no where while I was driving (not listening to my system) it just decided to drop down to about 12.9. Today while driving I noticed that when I pressed the gas my voltage would severely go down but then if I let off the gas while in gear my voltage would start to rise. When I put it in neutral it would go back down again. I thought I could get away from getting a new alternator for a while because I am only running about 2500 rms, I have my gains set a little lower because of my electrical…

guy at RE said to get a power acoustik 3000.. I saw it for 339$ and i get like 2300watts at 1 ohm. That an the planet audio amp. He said there dam near the same. anybody got any better deal, wt that i need 2 for each 18. Any more power for a good price i'm open to any ideas.

So I finished installing my 2 12" GCONS/Kicker ZX1000.1/LC2i/DC-Creations Sealed Enclosure into my 2012 GLI and I have a couple of questions for some of you more experienced guys. My car had a factory subwoofer (fender audio system) so I tapped into the subwoofer speaker wires for the line-out signal. The low frequency bass sounds GREAT but the higher frequencies are weak, almost like they're dropping off. Since the factory subwoofer was hitting all these higher bass notes before I disconnected it, the factory head unit/amp MUST be sending the full range signal back to the input of the LC2i, no? so i was not going to buy a head unit in the first place but now that im thinking i can probably use the features for the eq... i have been looking at the clarion vz300 and that appeals to me, but also the jensen vm9224 i dont know much about jensen and im not sure if they are a reliable brand, so some help here would be nice.. in fact i wouldnt mind suggestions for other headunits as long as they are under 250

I have 2 t2500-1bdcp's that I would like to strap together to run 1 smd 15" subwoofer. I haven't bought the sub yet because I don't know how to wire it to 1 ohm per amp. if anyone could tell me how to strap these amps together and wire the sub that would great.

It seems as though a nightmare has occured because yesterday my voltage was very low and my battery light kept flickering on and off. I went to O'Riellys and they told me my battery was bad. i got 2 RE HC 12s, i have em in a 6 cubed box tuned to 31 hz, wit a mtx 1501d powerin both.
