Hey anybody out there running one of these i had the DTS-1000.1 and it beat hard probably too much for my cvr 12 (rated at 400 rms) i had it ran peralel at 2 ohms since it was a dual 4 sub supposedly the amp was puttin out 560 @ 2 ohms. this i had to RMA the 1000.1 because it rattled and got back a 1500.1 becuz of the price drop since i origonally boutght the 100 in sept of this year id like to know from anybody running one of these thanks >>.....D sorry about the double post my interweb died lol

My jvc kw nx 7000 is buggin' out and they want $50 plus shipping for me to send it to Colorado to diagnose it before they can even give me an idea on price. Has anybody ever dealt with a company for touch screen repair? I am reluctant to spend 70-100 just to send it out to be told it is another 400 to fix. Any ideas?

Should i use a Kinetik 600 Power Cell in my install for my front stage? -- Will it help with my voltage? OR! Will it strain my Alt? I know its only 400wrms.. but i have the Power Cell already. (2) Alpine Type R 6.5 component sets (1) Alpine PDX 4.100 KnuKoncpetz 4 gauge amp kit Yellow top as starter batt. 1/3 Big 3 done. (Batt to frame) Stock Alt -- 80-100 amp (not too sure)

Has anyone had the opportunity to use one of these amps? Cadence ZRS C-1 I am looking into upgrading mine, just trying to work with a budget. This amp is for sale for $389 free shipping. I am using a 18" IA DR New Edition in a 7.6qft enclosure tuned around 30-32HZ. Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Thanks JW

I'm looking at this dual headunit and I was wondering if it is a good choice, its only 17RMS but I dont really care I just want to make sure it won't blow up I plan to get a amp for my speakers soon so 17RMS is fine right now. I posted this on another site but maybe I can get advice here, I have a 4ch rockford P400-4 set to 2ch and using two alpine 4ohm 6.5's. Everything had been working fine but lately say I am driving to work for about five minutes then I turn on radio you can feel the car kind of shudder a bit then after awhile of the radio playing the amp goes into thermal protect. The gains are under a quarter turn from zero and made sure the ground is good. Any ideas?

Not sure if anyone is really interested, but I got this today. It was a service drop off, we repaired the RCA inputs and the customer never came back. So it's going home with me. I've got some connections who can do a little something for me so we're going to cut a plexiglass sheet for the front and cut outs for the display and the fans, probably going to upgrade the fans and get the whole thing powdercoated.

OK I got an LED rocker switch from O'reillys to turn h/u on and off on the powerwheels like an ignition. If I hook up the wire from my fuse block to the hot side and the load wire to either other post I get the led but no h/u. If I hook up all 3 posts (pos,load,neg) I blow a fuse as soon as I flip the switch. I don't know if running the red and yellow wire together causes to much draw, or if the ground isnt really a ground? But I'm confused and slightly annoyed...

I really hope somebody out there can help me. I have a Fusion amp(FP-1000) I also have a remote bass control for the amp. Which is a little box that goes up front with you, giving you the feature to be able to control the gain on the amp. It is connected to the amp by a telephone like plug and cord. would anyone know how much more on average you can increase the output of a stock alternator just by doing a rewind. i added a second battery which is not much. the second battery is my old battery that is a stock from upfront in the engine bay. i have the 130amp alternator from a 2003 highlander, just need to get to 200A output but i know each alternator is different and will not be able to get much more out of it. thanks to all that can help me

I recently got a redtop from a friend. It had been sitting up for a good while and was reading 7 volts. So I put my charger on it @ 2amps for 3 days. Now the battery reads 14 volts when I take the charger off. All good right? But when I go to try it out and put it in my car, it wont crank it. So I let it charge some more, and same thing. Battery is fine until you put a load on it. Im assuming its bad, but I wanna make sure, so here this thread is. Hate to waste a battery like that.
