Just about an hour ago, I was listening to some beats. I stepped out of the car and popped the trunk to observe the sub itself for a second, I was using the remote (if this matters). I then paused it, got back in my car, turned the volume down, and when I looked back at the HU it was black. I pressed reset, turned the car on/off. Nothing seems to work. I don't think a fuse blew because the motor for the cd changer still works. Any ideas? Kenwood KDC X794

Hey guys! we're trying to set the gains and settings on my bro's sub/amp but he has stock blose speakers and amp for his mids and hi's.... anyone know if the bose amp has a gain control on it or if possible can we add one? speakers max out volume @ 17/80 ha. HU is a 9887 and 15"icon + 1000D. Thanks in advance guys

i plan on buying a sundown 2000D mono amplifier .. they will be powering 2 12 inch FI BLs and at 1 ohm. i have a stock alternator and battery and i wanna know how i should go about this. i know caps are bogus ive read the forums so i was thinking about replacing the stock battery with a kinetic one. would this be enough or would i need more ? i strained the alternator on my last car to the point were i cudnt start the car anymore i deffinitly dont want that happening again. all help is apreciated

I am looking for a small amp (literally) for my wifes van power a Koda 8" at 4 ohms. Looking to have roughly 200 RMS. Here are my choices so far Arc Audio 2050 CXL Planet Audio BB50.2 Anyones tried any of these series? I am leaning toward the Arc just because I have always wanted to try one, and I think they are one of the most beautiful amps out there. Anyone have any other suggestions. Here are my specs 1. I'm looking at an alpine class D sub amp and wondered if anyone has used them. Its the smaller 301 but might maybe be large enough for me not sure. Anyway, it looks to have a parametric eq in it even...that would be nice. Anyone used them? I guess I'm wondering if one would work ok for my sort of SQ system, instead of an older class AB that takes more power. My kicker class d seems to work ok, but assume the Alpine is better quality yet.

is it good to have less or more of it? and also why do most companies only post THD of 4 ohms, does it change with each load?

i know the 200.1 is the same as alot of 3000s out there. but Bob is claiming its 3700w lol and the new 150.1 does 3300w? last i remember the 150.1 was no louder than a mojo 2000 or crossfire..

I have a mtx 421d am with a 8inch American bass sub, I need some help on how to tune the amp and what songs you guys recommend. It hits hard with low bass music but with bands or other k8nda bass it doesn't hit right or it won t hit.

How would you figure this out? Ac/dc / ac/dc? Running a mmats D300hc in a 2 cu. Sealed enclosure. Not supposed to run the mmats below 1 for daily driving, so want to know how I'm doing so, is this the cheater amp its made to be? Drawing lots of current lol, voltage drop. Don't want to dmg the amp, rewiring it to 4 and making a larger ported I guess.

Just got my friend to pick up a audiopipe 1500 today, heard it is a decent budget amp. Notice it has no fuses, the guy tells me it needs external fuses. I understand what that means, but is there a distance from the amp these need to be? a certain amp rating they need to be? will the main fuse coming off the batt under the hood running to the amp be sufficient? just want to make sure i get this right before helping him install. thanks

Hey all, I'm looking for a 1.5 DIN bluetooth capable deck. I haven't been able to find anything online, my local shop said they have them but I would rather get a nice internet deal first. Tracy, I saw some info in here the other day about the newer amp lines. I was hoping for a refresher and also wondering along the lines of AB power... 750X2 @ 1 or 4 Ohms or so, maybe 1500 @ 2Ohms. Basically I mant alot of controll, like one of the new lines seemed to offer. I am going to be powering 2 Brahmas (I needed a little more umph ). I am hoping to keep them in a foot each so power needs to be about 750-1100 or so per driver. I like the Cadence Z1500, or a pair of Z9000s. I am even kicking DEI around (2400D) but it is a D amp. I really want an AB. Also I was wondering if you might hit me some rough prices up. Thanks Bud, Seth

i have 2 SAZ-3000D and the slave amp keeps going into protect mode.Its only at semi hi volumes, i checked the ground and all the other connections. They seem to be fine, not sure what it could be any ideas?

i got 2 12' HCs, there for daily, so im decidin a amp. i was gonna get 2 bx1000ds but i diddnt no if i should spend extra to get the bx1500ds instead. but i think 3k watts will be to much for daily. also i got a 80 amp alt so i doubt ill be able to run either of them without upgrading. also i was thinkin of a tsunami 1800db but i heard ppl havin probs wit em. also i does any sites still sell them? ty, and if u no any amps i would like for aroun 450-500 post them.

well my stock alt (105a) is starting to chit out on me. at red lights, the volts drop real low, and the car sometimes will shut off then back on real fast....its not the batt, i tried it with my stocker, as well as a kinetik 2400. its prally when i played my powerbass xa3000d on the stock batt, and the alt couldnt keep up recharging the batt....

Hey guys, I've got a Pioneer DEH 4100 (as the title implies) and it's suffering from a few annoying malfunctions. 1) Sometimes it will independently skip forward through a song, but does not beep to indicate this and it seems to be a pretty random occurrence. Even if it did beep, it still pisses you off. Some of my songs suffer from different volumes, so I go from, like, Ray Charles to a goddamn Children of Bodom song at a higher volume. My ears leave my body for a time. 2) I leave my iPod plugged in via USB, and what used to happen when I'd start the car was that the head unit would automatically start the iPod up. I currently have a passive front component set of Focal's on a Linear Power 1502 with TIPS mods. I'm looking at going active and louder up front. I currently have a BTL N2 15 and another on the way. I can start to drown out the fronts now so adding another sub will definitely drown them out. I have not set my mind up on what tweeters and mids to use. I have door pods already for 6.5 mids and tweeters. I have a small SUV...Mercury Mariner so adding more front speakers is not an option. This is a daily driver and I will rewire the fronts with larger wire when I redo and go active. I'm looking into the Zed amp 100x4 and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. …

I'm just curious without the ac converterr, what would happen if I cut the power wire and connected it to the battery, or a 12 volt connection. Would it A. burn up the ps2 B. Not get ebough power C. work just fine. I say B

right now i have a cheap 20 dollar line out converter. As you turn up the volume it doesent get any louder, and i know im not getting the full 1200watts. All my electrical is good, my voltage stays at 13v. Are you guys familiar with the jl audio clean sweep? I dont want to get a headunit. All i want is when i turn up my volume it gets louder and louder, right now if i turn it up it stops getting loud, it stops after a certain point. my volune is 30max and when i put it to 16 it doesent get louder??? my current equipment. 12bl fully loaded and sundown sae 1200d. all 0 gauge I have a 15btl and a sundown sax 2500d on order.
