So I'm going to be running active soon. All crescendo. I already have the soundstream rubicon 2.600. (300w x2 @2ohm) so I'm planning on running that on the 4 crescendo 6.5s. Since it seems the perfect fit rms wise. I also already have a Lanzar VCT4110. (100w x2 Bridged @4ohm) Ive heard these are overrated, so input on that would be nice. should I run that bridged @4ohm for 100w on the 2 crescendo ft1s. Orrrrr.... buy a soundstream rubicon 2.250. (75w x2 @4ohm) It is closer to rms, but I know the ft1s could handle 25 more watts. Thought of soundstream only so they would be matching, it would look nicer, although the Lanzar is already mounted under my front seat. O…

I did an install way back, maybe 15 years ago on an 88 Nissan p/u. New speaker wire all around, two amps, amp board behind seat, tho whole enchilada. The 1st time i ever attempted such a thing. My p/u had a fiberglass shell that attached to the cab via a rubber boot. There was a carpet kit in the bed of the truck which held my sealed box with two 10" JL subs powered by an old school Rockford amp (Punch DSM). I had Pioneers for speakers powered by another Rockford 4 way. A set of 6.5's in the doors, and a set of 6x9's in the back installed into the carpet kits cubbys that it had. Has anyone used these alts? Anyone used them on a Silverado with the 6.0L? How do they compare to other big brands?

Okay I lack proper knowledge in many spectrums of electrical. My question here is hypothetical but, if I had a battery bank of lets say 6 Kinetic 2400's all connected onto a buss bar. Lets say I have 4 alts. 2 put out 240 amps at idle, 1 puts out 250, and another 275. All 4 alts are connected to the buss bars by 1/0 cable. Would this cause issues with the reliability of the batteries or the alts? I just wonder is mis matched alts make a difference. J

I just aquired a DieHard platinum group 35 battery. I also have a kinetic hc600. Would they be safe to run in parallel together?

I have a stupid question, but can you strap an AQ 2200 to an AQ 1200 and run 2 subs on it or would it put it wayyy out of phase or something

alright so i have a cheap walmart wet cell battery under the hood.... now i bought i xs power d3100 to run my amps off of in the trunk.... can i wire the 2 batteries parallel together or should i just run them seperate to the alternator ?? if i should run them seperate how should i do it ?? i wasnt sure if i could run them together since one is a wet cell while the other is a dry cell. i wanna run my cars electrical off of the walmart battery and the amps off of the d3100.

Getting ready for a long road trip next week and had a question. Going to be running a large power inverter the whole time and I wanted to put a extra battery or 2 in. My question is I have a 1 year old blue top from my boat and plan on buying a new blue top to go also, would it be a bad idea to run them both together.

I current have a stock battery up front, and a batcap 2000 in the back near the amps. my question is, would there be any problems mixing battery brands? was looking at a kinetik 1400 to put up front.. would it make a difference? I would assume not considering the stock battery i have up front (wet cell) runs fine with the batcap in the back minus the voltage drops. I need to figure out a way to stabilize these voltage drops. i have a problem guys when ever i turn my mmats pro audio 1500.1 amp on it says protect and wont come out of protect mode i have no subs hooked up so i dont know what it could poosibly be?? any clue???

I recently bought a MMATS 2100.2 thinking it was a 2100 rms at 2ohm amp only to find out it is really a 1550 watt RMS and 2100 watt peak amp. WTF!!!! I am really disappointed about this, I wouldnt think a great company like MMATS would be so misleading. I bought the amp to step up power to my IA Death Penalty, I had a Kicker ZX1500.1. Well when I pulled out the Kicker and replaced it I found to my suprise that the MMATS wasnt as loud as my other amp. The Kicker is adverised as 1500 watts but originally came with a birth sheet showing that it tested arround 1700 watts. So I guess Kicker actually under rates there amps while MMATS advertises 2100 watts and only produces 155…

anyone knows the power rating at 4 ohm? @ 12 Volts preferably i already bought my DC level 4 and now i have to change my amp, i currently have a hifonics brutus 2000 i am selling it, to replace it with a hifonics 2008 model, but i saw this amp at a really good price, but im afraid the 2700 rms will burn it. the sub is a dual 2. any suggestions?

a friend of mine keeps going on about this company so I looked into it and found a D3500.1 for a reasonable price but the guts didn't look too smashing are they really that good?

I am trying to decide what amps to use ot run my new system that i am building I have been looking at the mmats 3500.1 and the us amps 3500de I am going to run 4 ts-w 3002d2 subs but I have never used either one of these products I have read great reviews on these amps but here in louisiana where i am from there arent anyone around here that runs these amps or sells them so iam going to have to buy direct from these companies so any incite would be great and if anyone else has any other good amp suggestions that are in the 3 to 4,000 watt range please let me know. I've had about 3 of them and l loved each one the same, I've had alot of big amps and this lil puppy is the only one that starts to smoke the coils on my DDs within mins of serious play, not enough to blow my 9515s but if you ever need a small amp that puts out a REAL 1500-1800 watts D300hc is the only way to go for 250-300 bucks the only down side is that it does NOT have a subsonic filter and me and other guys like me that loves the sound of a ported enclosure , that comes in handy.. just bought me another one for 80 bucks (blown)

Anyone have any good setups with this amp? Modded or not? A d200? I want to know how much I can really get out of it..have only seen it do work in 4 ohm. I got one off my buddy with a dmged Fi Q for only 200$. I thought it was a steal...

Ok, I have a MMATS DHCx 2200.1 hooked up to 4 single voicecoil kicker comp c12's 8 ohm each for a final load of 2 ohms. The amp is a mono channel. The problem is, sometimes when I get in the car and turn the radio on the amplifier goes strait into protect. You can still hear it playing at a very low wolume ie. 2 or 3 bars on the radio but if you turn it up any louder the sound fades away and sometimes I can turn it on and it plays fine. It usually doesn't do it unless the car has been sitting for a while. When it does this, the only way I've found to get it back playing correctly is to unhook the load from the amp turn the power off and turn it back on and reconnect t…
