I'm going to replace my redtop. I have two batteries in mind that I can get at a really good price, a Kinetik hc1800 and a Deka Intimidator. Which do you think I should get?

I have been looking from time to time to see if I stumble across one, but I wanted to put the word out again and ask if someone might know of one or has seen one, I hate haveing a processor and not use it, could maybe back the gains back down again, any help would be great

alright right im new here and im not the one to ask alot of questions or post alot of threads. so dnt worry about me postin dumb post. anyway now i have a fi btl 15 in a 4.5 box with a soundstorm amp in a mazda tribute. it hits but i know my sub can handle more power cus at times it clips and i think my sub is to powerful for my amp. i wanna know will this amp begood for this sub.....http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16293_PowerBass+ASA-2200.1D.html

so I have a 9300 and a 660 as of today, and i went to go plug in the new 660 to make sure everything was good and the plug was diff from the 9300 which pissed me off. It was basicly the same but the 660 one was a tad larger and i didnt feel like hooking up a new harness just to test the new hu. anyone know if the 4 or 5 series are the same as the new 6? thanks! -aaron

Hey guys, just looking for an ok temporary (probably 6-9 months) to run a single Crystal cmpx2 15. That's going to be 1600 rms dual 2 ohm coils. My budget is around $150 I'm currently looking into grabbing one of the cheap Shark 2500's. Let me know if there are any other options you would recommend. Hey guyz, i heard 2 pops about 2 seconds apart then hit play on my iphone and silence. Ive had 2 different amps on my door speakers. ONe was an alpline mrp300.4 or something like that and now i have phoenix gold octane 9.0.1. both are 5 channel and i used only the 4 channels for my door speakers. I have pioneer 5800mp headunit, the pico fuse is blown so i catch a goodbit of alt whine and noise. which leads me to think that has something to do with the amps blowing? Could that have an effect on the amp if the fuse is blown? I checked all fuses and connections. It wasnt playin music when it happened either, which is weird to me. I'm currently running 2 dual 2ohm sa-12's and plan on upgrading my amp (currently a crunch 1500 lol, it's getting the job done for now) to 2 saz-1500d's. Right now I'm just saving up money for the amps and working on my electrical. I currently added a lead straight from the alternator to the battery. Replaced the lead from the battery to the chassis and sanded it to bare metal. Added a lead from the block to the the battery. And finally today I added a lead from the block to the chassis (using the same spots as the other grounds). Is upgrading this wire even necessary? After I put that on I had a reading of 14.1X. i was driving home last night and plugged my phone into the usb and nothing happened , but i just drove home with the radio on and didnt pay much attention. i went out today to mess with it and the usb will say its charging my phone but usb and pandora wont show up on the cd player. i kept scrolling through the sources and now when i scroll through them the cd player just shuts off. any ideas how to fix this?

i bought a new zed audio amp at the beginning of may. zed was giving away free refurbished amps with a new amp purchase. i got a free us acoustics amp. i bench tested the amp as soon as i received it and it played music fine. i put it back in a box and never installed it. on june 2nd it sold on ebay for $160. the guy left me good feedback on june 12th. on august 7th the guy PMs me on sounddomain and says that he finally got around to hooking the amp up and it blows his power wire fuse (the amp doesnt have onboard fuses). i respond immediately, telling him how i tested it. i asked him to measure the resistance of the inputs with a dmm, and look at the circuit board for a…

Well I have been looking around a lot for different decks and wondering which ones are the best for what I am willing to pay. I would like one of those that have a touch screen and actually come out of the dash, but it is not necessity. The more reviews I read on them any of them under 1000$ are cheap and break often. Hey guys my little brother is looking to purchase an extra battery for his setup. Here is what he has: 1-SAZ1000 2-SA12's at 1ohm Big 3 Decent 35-40ah starting battery, it has a green top so an interstate I beleive. his car is a 96 ford escort soon he will be adding a 2 channel amp to drive a pair of speakers or maybe a 4 channel we will wiat and see. I am getting some money built up to get some SSD's and I want to push them just right. Since I have no experience with Fi Car Audio, I was wondering what would be the best choice of an amp for these subs. Money is almost not an issue with me. But not a rediculously priced amp. I have a 86 150 with a 5.0 in it. It came stock with a 60 amp alternator. My neighbor gave me box full of stuff he took off of a 94 mustang 5.0 H.O. One of the parts happend to be a stock 130 amp alternator. Since i need to get a bigger alternator anyways and strapped for cash i figured i can use this alternator. Its a direct bolt in, but the plugs are different though. My stock one has 2 plugs instead of the one plug. But one of the plugs on my wiring harness is the same style plug on the new(er) one. So wat i did is that i plugged(sp) in the plug that looked the same and hooked up a 4 guage power wire directly to my battery. Installed it and cranked it over, i…

Ok I ran 0 gauge wiring for my saz-2500. I put a 250 amp inline fuse and as soon as I connected the negative terminal the inline fuse blew. So I pulled out the wiring to make sure it wasnt cut went it went through the firewall and disconnected the amp. Ran the wire outside the car without the amp connected and the fuse didn't blow. Connected the amp and the fuse blew once I connected the neg terminal. Faulty amp or am I missing something? Amp was a refurbished purchased from db-r.com. Any ideas I'd appreciate it.

installing my new system and my buddy says no dont run fuses.this is what im running 4 runs of 0 gauge wire from the front battery 2 power 2 ground,in the back i have 2 kinetik 3800s and a 300 amp altenator but the alt wire is fused.there is currently no fuses on the power wires for the truck but have not finished yet so just wondering what everyones opion is.im thinking 2 under the hood one on each power 2 before the batterys in the back and 2 after the batterys in the back.thanks

I have a few spare 10" Alpine Type S dual 2ohm subs that have been sitting around for a little over a year with no home. I'm planning on using one of them in a friends sealed box (.75) running it at 1ohm using the Zed Minilith. The Alpine is rated at 300rms. The Zed is rated a bit over 600rms at 1ohm. Id this too much for that sub, or should I just wire it to a 4ohm load.
