  1. I have 2 of the same type of batts, then another one of a diff brand. The 2 have like 80 something a/h and hold like 1000 amps or something, and then the one has 100 or so a/h and like 1200 amps of storage. Stock battery from what I know up front, 200 amp alt, and I will be putting in a Audioque 2200d (unless I find a more powerful one for a better price). I have 2/0 welding cable, a good amount. I was planning on doing the big 3 with this, then wire from the positive battery under the hood to the batteries in the back. I can't decide which setup to use, the 2 batts, single batt, or like all 3? Would it be better to run negative and a postive to the back? All I need for…

I know everyone's going to be like after reading this but please bare with me. I have a Pioneer 800prs and 3sixty.2 that I want to use together for a 3way + sub active setup. I'm just looking for the best way to hook them up to eachother. Alright, the 3sixty.2 allows 50hz-10khz on the front and rear outputs and 50hz-200hz on the sub output. Center will not be utilized unless later on I feel like adding a light rear fill (mono). The 3sixty also allows Bandpass, HP, LP, and Bypass on the front and rear outputs and LP only on the sub output. The 3sixty has a 31-band EQ for the Front Channels, 27-band EQ for the Rear and Center channels, and a 10-band EQ for the subwoofer.…

do two runs of 1/0 awg 1 for ground and 1 for power or just ground to my chasis? i dont plan on running a ton of power. around 2000rms total. i do plan on adding a couple batteries though. i already have a run of hyperflex for power and picking up another 24ft in a few hours. i know running the ground to the batt has less reistance than a chasis ground but would i really notice anyhing between the two with such little power? if i dont do another run i can do my big 3 today, but i would rather do two runs while my car is apart than doing 1 run and big 3 and come back and tear everything apart again.

Trying to decide on an amp for 2 RE audio SR10s. They're rated at about 350rms. Each will be going in a .88 ft^3 ported enclosure. Trying to stay under $350. Alpine pdx 1.600 Kicker zx750.1 Cadence DCA-1000 Haven't ordered subs yet so any wiring configuration is an options. And i'm open to any other options or suggestions.(except something directly available from the manufacturer. This is replacing stolen equipment so I'm dealing with AJRS, awesome company btw.) Thanks

First off, another comparison that may have already occured yea yea sorry. Looking at a Saz-1500D for $400 or a 2200d for $389? Obviously a difference in power but Sundowns are usually underrated with great CS and don't hear TOO much bout the AQ's besides ppl that have them but know nothing bout any other amps. Any opinions whatsoever....gracias! lol Thanks Chris Hasbrook

  12. I've got a line on the Massive amps, and wondering if any of you guys have ever used/reviewed them. They've got the DB300B, which is supposedly stable at 1 ohm, and does 950RMS @ 2 ohm - my cost is much lower than the MSRP, wondering how it would compare to a Sundown or similar. http://www.massiveaudio.com/store/db-3000b...1-pr-16220.html

The local Circuit City is going out of business, they have all their car audio stuff marked down 40%. They've got a few Kicker ZX750.1 amps, originally $500..... and you math wizards have already figured out that they are now only $300. Rated at 750rms at 2 ohms, are they stable into a lower load? Like 1.6 (5 Dual 4ohm coil subs in series/parallel? 1.33 (3 4ohm subs in parallel)? Do they put out more than their rated power?

Now, I definitely know the PowerMaster is a better battery, but the price of the Dekas are telling me to go w/ them. I could get two new Dekas for the cost of one new PowerMaster. Common sense is telling me to go w/ the Dekas but which do you guys suggest to do?

I am getting 2 15" AA havocs (hence the name lmao!) 1250 watts rms per sub ... i have noticed that they are going to have to be dvc 2 ohm per sub (no other options for ohms)... My question is which amp would be better to power these subs... i kno alot of responses will be sundown... and i am leaning toward sundown but thinking realistically i could wire the sundown to 2 ohms and get 1600 watts split between 2 subs or i could go with the kicker and get 2500 split between subs... i really want the sundown but i dont want to underpower the subs... i am stuck and getting indecisive... which would be the better buy...

Alright i'm running 4 Dual 4 ohm speakers aiming for 2 ohms. Theory #1: Wire two subs in parallel separate (yeilds 2ohms a sub). Then wire these together in parallel yeilding 1 ohm total for 2 speakers. Then, wire the other two subs the exact same way yeilding two sets of speakers ran down to 1 ohm per set. Now im running one amp. Then run these two sets together in series on the amp yeilding 2 ohms. Only question, wouldn't this i swap the polarity in one set of the speakers??????? Theory #2: Run each sub in series (yeildin 8 ohms a sub). Then run all of the subs in parallel at the amp. Yeilding 2 ohms. I think this is the correct way!! Im going to finish my box tom …

What do you guys think of this amp? I saw a topic over at SMD and it didn't seem bad at all. I can get it for a REALLY cheap price, like, if it puts out even 3000 watts rms, then it is still worth it. It doesn't look too bad imo. And, compared to the Crunch GP3000D-pro, what do you all think?

What are you guys' thoughts on this? It is sort of temporary give or take on how much I like it, I don't like the looks too much but it seems like its fine. I like having the noticable volume and channel changing button also. The USB I have read that you can plug your iPod through the USB and it should work (if it doesn't I have a flash drive or can get a bigger one for ~10$) and it plays cds. I have an iPod touch and I haven't been able to use it because the wireless ones dont work for chit (and differ in each car), I have no tape deck, and all I can play are cd's. This unit also has 6v pre-outs with front rear and subwoofer RCA inputs. (I can use them for my subs) I als…

I purchased about 15ft of Kicker Hyperflex 0 gauge to do the BIG 3 and the wire was MUCH bigger than expected. I had never dealt with 0 gague wire up until this point. I attempted the install with the wire but had difficulty due to its large size a tightness of my engine bay in addition to the awkward location of my alternator ('08 Altima 3.5SE). So I was just curious to know if using 4 gauge or 2 gauge wire would be sufficient since it will still be at least twice the size of stock? It will be 100% OFC, none of that aluminum clad stuff. Background info on my system is a Sundown SAE-1000D powering a 12" Havoc and a 4-channel Kenwood eXcelon powering my Ininity Kappa c…
